In the tranquil village of Oakhaven, a young artist, Elias Thorne, is uprooted by the declaration of war between Veridia and Solara. Driven by a sense of duty, he enlists in the Veridian army, leaving behind his peaceful life and his close friend, Elara. His initial military experiences, including rigorous training and forming bonds with his squadmates, are juxtaposed against escalating tensions and wartime propaganda. As Elias is deployed to the Verdant March, the harsh realities of war encounters with the enemy and the loss of comrades test his courage and conscience.
