🗝️ Overview of the Door Pathway

The Door Pathway is one of the 22 Beyonder pathways in Lord of the Mysteries. It is characterized by its dominion over space, secrets, and the ability to traverse and manipulate different planes of existence. Practitioners of this pathway evolve to become entities capable of sealing, unsealing, and even becoming conceptual representations of doors themselves.

🔑 Sequence Progression and Abilities

Sequence 9: Apprentice

Abilities:

Door Opening: Allows the practitioner to phase through walls and other obstacles by opening a symbolic, incorporeal door. This ability is limited by the thickness of the obstacle and cannot transport others. Even if an Apprentice's connection to the Spirit World is blocked, they can still use this ability.

Lock Opening: Enables the opening of locks that don't contain mystical powers, as well as a small number of locks reinforced with Beyonder effects.

Sequence 8: Trickmaster

Abilities:

Elemental Manipulation: Grants the ability to wield various elemental spells, including:

Tumble: Makes the ground beneath the target slippery.

Bounce: Causes the targeted object to bounce.

Burning: Sets objects ablaze with a scarlet flame.

Electric Shock: Shocks the target with electricity.

Freezing: Freezes the target.

Wind: Creates a light wind.

Flash: Emits a blinding flash.

Fog: Generates a foggy mist.

Sequence 7: Astrologer

Abilities:

Celestial Divination: Allows the practitioner to read and interpret celestial patterns, granting insights into spatial anomalies and potential pathways.

Spirit Vision: Enables the ability to see non-physical entities and conduct ritualistic magic.

Astral Projection: Facilitates travel to the Spirit World and other planes of existence.

Sequence 6: Scribe

Abilities:

Record: After observing a Beyonder power, Scribes can attempt to record its mystical symbols, patterns, and labels, storing it for one later use if successful. This ability uses their Soul as a pen and their Spirit Body as the paper.

Limitations:

The probability of successfully recording is not guaranteed for powers above Sequence 6.

The number of powers they can record is limited, which increases with digestion.

The effects of recorded Beyonder powers will be weaker than the original.

Sequence 5: Traveler

Abilities:

Traveler's Door: Allows the practitioner to open a door to the Spirit World and travel there while still sensing the real world, providing a form of long-distance teleportation.

Blink: A form of short-distance traveling that leaves afterimages in its wake.

Invisible Hand: Enables the movement of objects remotely with the mind.

Enhanced Record: The ability to record Beyonder powers is greatly enhanced, allowing the recording of up to 4 Demigod-level powers.

Sequence 4: Secrets Sorcerer

Abilities:

Symbolization: Allows the practitioner to transform themselves into symbols, enabling travel to different worlds and avoiding many attacks.

Journey (Space): Grants authority over all movement and area, allowing direct manipulation of aspects of space and journey within various realms.

Sealing: Enables the creation of seals with time constraints and the ability to lock targeted regions of space.

Sequence 3: Wanderer

Abilities:

Unrestricted Movement: Allows movement across different realms, including the Astral and Spirit Worlds.

Evade Detection: Enables the practitioner to evade detection and manipulate spatial constructs to their advantage.

Sequence 2: Planeswalker

Abilities:

Traverse Multiple Planes: Allows the practitioner to traverse and manipulate multiple planes of existence simultaneously.

Enter Doors: Enables entry into doors that open and close simultaneously, preventing others from knowing what went in or was behind said doors.

Manipulate Concepts: Allows the creation of various special worlds within pre-established realms by manipulating and modifying the concepts of doors and space.

Sealing: Enables the opening or closing of everything related to the concept of a door in the entire world, thereby strengthening or weakening all and any forms of sealing.
