Shinji's eyes open quickly, he sat up breathing heavily as he looked around, he was in his room again "this isn't a dream..." he got up and walked out of his room annoyed in his shorts and tank top he would walk down the hall, Rose was smiling "Oh hey Shinji! How did you sleep?!" He said walking towards Shinji but Shinji would push Rose away "not now..." he said in annoyance Rose would look upset his ears flattening "ar..are you okay?" He asked and Shinji sighed "just leave me alone right now...why don't you just spend some time with your mother today?" He suggested and Rose would look even more upset "Shinji...my mother's dead..." Shinji stopped turning around "When was this?!" Rose teared up just yesterday don't you remember?" Rose asked concerned yet in pain and Shinji sighed "its been a day okay..." he said while he scratched the back of his head annoyed, he knew he couldn't explain what was happening to anyone if he wanted to...if he did Lucielle would kill them all. He would look at Rose "...what is today?..." he asked confused, Rose would look at him "hmm it's Wednesday...two more days until we go back to work hah..." he sighed softly "I might ask if I can have some more time off...." he would say walking into one of the rooms "oh how upsetting..." A voice came from behind Shinji, he quickly turned glaring at the man "Lucielle...." he would mumble "why are you here..." Shinji asked Lucielle and Lucielle would sigh cracking his neck and he smiled wide "and how do you remember me?~ don't tell me...was this all her idea? How...interesting" he would walk up to Shinji "the world will end soon...nobody but you and I will know and you have nobody to go to~" he laughed grimacing with black eyes and red pupils. Rose would walk back out in a change of clothes and Lucielle was gone "Shinji...what's going on with you, you know you've been acting differently than usual and I'm getting worried" he said upset and Shinji huffed turning around "You could never understand what's going on I can't tell you..." Rose glared "We're best friends!! You should trust me!! It feels like you dont!!" He shouted upset as Shinji looked shocked "Hey I do trust you! It's just...I dont want you to get worried over it!" Rose would cross his arms "I'm already worried!!" He shouted again looking up at Shinji "is this about Drake?! You can tell me! Did I do something wrong?!" He looked down and Shinji finally broke "It was your fault in the first place he's gone! It should've been you instead of him!!" He shouted back at Rose and Rose froze up tears welling up in his eyes, Shinji would sigh, he would walk away trying not to get more upset slamming the door behind him, he would take a walk annoyed "he knows nothing...it's for his safety....it's best if he doesn't know..." he mumbled to himself as he walked. He would sigh stopping near a park, his eyes tearing up "I...didn't mean that... did I" a feminine man with long black hair with a white streak down the back would be beside Shinji "hmm what are you doing here all by yourself?" He asked curiously and Shinji jumped "gah!!" He looked at the man "who are you?..." he would go for his katana and the man simply smiled "oh no I'm not here to hurt you" the man smiled softly "I'm just going for a walk, you look very upset so I came here to see if something was bothering you" He explained in a calm yet elegant voice "so tell me what has gotten you upset?" He asked curiously, his long hair blowing in the calm wind while he was sitting next to Shinji "I said something hurtful to my best friend. I need to protect everyone yet I don't think I can" he said softly tears streaming down his cheeks "I'm afraid yet I can't show anyone my true emotions or I will be seen as weak" he would wipe his eyes as the man put his hand to his own chin "I see...not everyone needs to be strong all the time you know?" He said comforting Shinji "sometimes you can let the waves take you away to somewhere beautiful, maybe you'll see your destiny there." He said calmly with a smile "I'd go back and explain to him what's upsetting you" the man added standing up and stretching "maybe telling him would have helped him...." he smiled looking up at the beautiful sunset, Shinji nodded "You're right!!" He stood up and started jogging away waving towards the kind man with long hair, but he was gone once he looked back, he would think the man left and continue his way home. He would open the door to the house, he slowly walked in "Rose!! I'm sorry about what I said...can we talk?" It was silence, the deafening silence filled the air and Shinji looked in his own room "Rose?" He would sigh going towards Rose's room "look giving me the silent treatment isn't going to work Rose..." he would open the door to Rose's room, once fully opened he stopped seeing Rose in the chair facing away from Shinji "Ros..." before he could finish his sentence BOOM a gunshot went off, blood flying all over the room some hitting shinjis face, his eyes widen as he saw the scene his ears were ringing but he could only fall to his knees staring at the gory scene, blood everywhere he couldn't stop staring his eyes flooding with tears a scream filled the air, he didn't even realize it was himself screaming in agony his best friend dead right infront of his eyes, brain matter all over the walls, the gun laid on the ground. He stood up weakly and he mumbled to himself "I can fix this...I can fix this...I can fix this" he said while he walked towards Rose's lifeless body, he slowly picked up the gun his hands shaking as he put the barrel towards his head, Outside the man with the white streak would be standing on the sidewalk, another gunshot filled the air around the whole town a flash coming from the window blood splattering all over the window, The man shook his head "well that was entertaining." The sun turned black and the end of this reality has started, The man laughed maniacally, his laughing filled the air as well in a haunting manner.
