Kaelra's gaze was sharp, calculating. "You let us think you were weaker. Why?"
Zairon smirked. "Why not? It's fun watching people underestimate me before I obliterate their expectations."
Airi glanced down at the massive B-Rank corpse, then back at Zairon. "What even are you?"
He laughed lightly, stepping forward.
"I'm Zairon. And this world… is mine to conquer."
As they gathered the loot, Zairon didn't rest. He was already planning.
"Ten more B-Ranks or maybe twenty C-Rank hordes… that's all I need. The path to C+ is paved with corpses, and I've got a lot of paving to do."
