Everyone dreams of living in a fantasy world— Magic, swords, kingdoms, and adventure. But no one talks about the weight of it all. The fear. The choices. The lives that hang in the balance. This is a story not of a destined hero, but someone who found himself in a place where fantasy meets reality. And once you’ve crossed that line, there’s no going back. "Not every summoning leads to glory."

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - A Summon Gone Wrong

In the midst of their dungeon conquest, the hero's party attempted to summon a powerful magic beast to aid them. But instead of a fearsome creature, they got… me.

One second, I was on a phone call, discussing some work, and the next, I found myself standing in the middle of a dark, damp cavern. My phone slipped from my hand as I tried looked around.

"What… just happened? Where am I?"

"A human?" A girl with a massive staff took a step back, staring at me in confusion.

The call I was on had disconnected. No signal. I checked my surroundings—stone walls, eerie torches flickering, an unsettling silence.

"A cave…?" I muttered.

"Not a cave. A dungeon," a man clad in shining armor corrected as he stepped forward. His large sword gleamed under the dim light as he eyed me suspiciously. "Who are you? Are you really human?"

"Huh? What else would I be?" My voice got annoyed slightly.

Behind him, two more figures stood at a distance—one with a bow slung over his back, his long, pointy ears unmistakable. An elf. The other, a girl in a flowing white robe. A priest?

"Where am I? How did I even get here?" I asked again, my mind racing with questions.

The armored man exhaled sharply. "This is bad… We messed up," he muttered, turning to his party. "Looks like we summoned a person instead of a magic beast."

The staff-wielding girl looked flustered. "That shouldn't be possible! I followed the summoning instructions exactly as instructed!"

"Well, here he is," the swordsman replied with a shrug. "No use complaining now. We still need to clear this dungeon."

I took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "Okay, fine. That's your problem. But can you at least send me back? I was in the middle of something important!"

The girl hesitated before answering. "Unfortunately… we have no idea how."

My stomach dropped. "Wait… Are you saying I'm stuck here?!"

She nodded solemnly.

I had no idea what was coming next. But one thing was clear—this was only the beginning of an unexpected journey in another world.
