The Unfortunate Guard

Usurpation.

Fragmentation.

Ruination.

Problems that may assemble need only a catalyst to be exploited or collapsed. The Usurpation of a family - and then heiress - from their rightful throne; the Fragmentation of a Noble family from a united Dukedom; the Ruination and alienation of a son for the greed of envy.

The Witch of Kambriv is she who straddles as False Queen of the Kambrivi mountains. She kidnaps, persuades, seduces and enslaves. She is she who soldiers tense to the name of: Aavisa of Kambriv, the Witch of Warlocks. Young and beautiful, she is the Lady of Death and Marquess of Torment; venture not beyond the guardhouses of Miraos, she may be yet waiting for your trespass.

Noble Aristocracy suffer politics and responsibility more than any other class. They are those that control and order the lower classes. Brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters are those that suffer most; the proclaimed idiot suffers illegitimacy, not from their own stupidity. That suffered Noble, they who try in their duty, is not let for this world when their rival shares their blood. Their claim is lost unto that blood which is spilt across the stone-hewn floors, the ground of the assembly which kept stability for so long. Families break under power, and they break with blood and blade.

He throws out his son in rage, bequeathing him poverty and mess, and frustrates under that son's joining of the Soldier's Guild. Petty and drunk, he dies to the blade of politics in which he struggles to understand.

The players in place, and the soldiers on march, the merchants toy with their merchandise in the market of Colnev. Selling salt to the butchers and the tavern, they quickly find the tavern; the Guards joining in too. But eyes lurk in the shadows under the Kambrivi, and hunts are started from finding it's prey...
