The sun hung high above the peaceful Madi village. The villagers went about their usual routines—children playing in the dusty roads, merchants arranging their goods, and elders chatting beneath the shade of the large banyan tree. Life in Madi was always simple. Always calm.
But calm never lasted.
Far beyond the outskirts, atop a hill covered in dry grass, a troop of royal soldiers stood in rigid formation. Their black and crimson armor shimmered under the sunlight. At the front stood Captain Darius, tall and imposing, his red robe billowing in the warm breeze. His eyes remained fixed on the tiny village below.
A younger soldier stepped forward, confusion on his face. "Captain Darius, why are we even attacking this village? Madi lies within the Havana Kingdom, under our rule."
Darius's voice was deep and cold. "It doesn't matter. These are the king's orders. And we do not question the king."
He turned to his men and spoke with authority. "This village will fall within the hour."
As the soldiers began to descend toward Madi, one of the curious villagers approached them, smiling.
"Wow! Are the royal soldiers here to bring us aid? Maybe the king finally remembered our existence?" the old man asked, hopeful.
Without a word, Darius unsheathed his sword. In one swift motion, he brought it down, silencing the villager forever. Blood painted the grass red.
"Peasants don't speak to us," Darius muttered, his tone filled with disgust. He turned to his men. "Kill everyone. Let no one escape."
The soldiers shouted in unison. "Yes, Commander!"
They charged into the village.
Back at the training grounds on the edge of the village.
Ryota being happy after getting plasma magic.
Ren says , "Alright, Misaki, are you finally going to tell us what that second special technique is?"
Misaki nodded slowly, but then she froze.
Her expression turned grim. "Wait... something's wrong."
She closed her eyes, sensing. Her voice trembled. "An army… the royal soldiers... they're attacking Madi!"
Ren's eyes widened. Without a second thought, he ran toward the village.
"Ren! Wait!" Ryota called after him.
Airi looked panicked. "Misaki, what's going on?"
Now," Misaki said. "Looks like,we need to go.We have to watch over him."
The once peaceful village was now a warzone. Flames licked the rooftops. Screams filled the air. Soldiers ran rampant, unleashing fire, lightning, and wind magic without mercy. Villagers were being struck down left and right.
Hayashi Akito ran, his breath ragged. He stumbled and fell to the ground, scraping his knees. Turning around, he saw a soldier approaching with murderous intent.
Tears welled in Akito's eyes. "No… I don't want to die… Someone… please…save me."
