Zenox Chrono, a man who made Chronos family what they are today.His overwhelming power made him more than capable to lead the family.He is feared and revered at the same time .He put honour of his family above everything else.He wouldn't allow family name to be tarnished.That is also the reason he disowned his own son for being talentless.For the man who takes great pride in himself and his family his talentless son is a stain that he cannot erase.
He still find it hard to accept how come his son became talentless despite being his son.Talent is not hereditary,but still lineage plays a certain role in it .So it was difficult for him to come in terms with his sons failure.
Zenox Chrono was sitting in his throne made up of 'alphondre' (rarest metal of celestia) sighing as he lost in his own thoughts.
A footsteps heard from the entrance of the throne room and he spotted a woman with beauty that makes gods envy with black hair and deep abyssyal like black eyes which is contrast to his dark grey hair and eyes.
The moment he spotted the woman a hint of rare smile come to his face .This woman is his wife and one of the powerful beings in the world Anabella Chrono.
"Dear"called the woman in a soothing voice which makes anyone's heart melt.
The man greeted her with a faint nod .
"You seem to quite troubled ,husband"asked the woman.
The faint smile on his face vanished which replaced by a solemn look.
"Time for the spirit mark ceremony is coming closer,only three
years are left,we need ancestral spirits marking.I am hoping Zera to get ancestral spirit marking,if Zera want to dominate the rest of the family heirs she needs the ancestral spirit mark"said Zenox gravely
"Don't worry husband Zera was always been exceptional ,her talent is even above you
If she cannot get ancestral spirit mark then nobody could not"said Anabella trying to ease her husband.
It worked as a hint of relief could be seen on his face"yes I know Zera will always be exceptional,that girl will not stop until she become best of best "said Zenox as he recalled the stubborn nature of his daughter.
As if recalling something Anabella asked "When will Zelene
come back" .
As the mention of his younger sister his mood got complicated,after 'that incident ' her relationship with him got strained.
He shook his head and said" i don't know ,she will not come to me anytime soon "
Anabella too know what happened between her husband and Zelene after 'that day'So she didn't press any further.
As if recalling 'that day' she looks at outermost area of main palace with a complicated look .
Sensing his wife's unusual look he too look at that part of area and recalled something and his anger erupted " are you thinking of that cripple of a son now,he is reason I am being mocked by those old bastards ,we only have one child that is Zera "said Zenox while
Anabella kept her head down without saying anything,she too was disappointed by her son's talent.But she couldn't get over with this pang of guilt.
She abandoned her own flesh and blood ,she haven't seen him since his birth.
Sometime she would muster up her courage to go and check her son ,but she couldn't bring herself to accept that child.
