Cubie-chan's light formed a small 'o' as her gaze fixed on Garret, sitting on the tunnel's smooth floor.
"That's right. A silver emblem – their weakness,"
Garret took a finger-sized stun gun with white and blue patterns from his pocket.
Cubie chan's core vibrated, a wide smile blooming within her surface.
Those mosquitoes.
How will you feel when you get shocked, huh? Hehehehe...
"Well then! Are we ready to go all out and rumble nowwww?"
When Garret heard her shout, he raised his index finger and tapped near Cubie-chan's core.
Sensing the light reflected off the glowing surface from ILLUMINATE
"Shhh, Cubie-chan. You're too loud; they'll hear us."
Cubie-chan lowered her head, a red line flushing on her surface.
"Okay, okay, sorry! But are we going to initiate it now?"
A short pause before Garret replied,
"No need to go initiate it. They'll walk into our trap."
Indeed, Garret. What he said is correct.
Cubie-chan heard the sound of footsteps grew closer to the tunnel.
Her eyes narrowed, and the bow on the corner of her core began to twitch.

Not long after, a smirk tugged at the corner of Garret's lips. His hand tightened around the stun gun.

On the side of the three thugs, they had now arrived at the tunnel entrance.
"Hey, are you sure they're in here?"
"Yes, I'm sure. There's nowhere else they could be," the short jumpsuit-clad man replied, with a firm voice. The sound of their footsteps reverbarated through the quiet tunnel.
"Good. Just imagine, if I get that kid's 'Authority,' I'll be incredibly powerful!" the leader smirked, imagining his bright future.
"Whoa! Amazing, Ralph, our mighty leader!" the tall and short thugs said in unison, clapping their hand.
"Of course! And I have you to thank, my loyal followers," Ralph replied.
The thugs letting out a broad grin, elated after hearing the praise.
But suddenly, the short thug's body convulsed with an electric shock. The others, who were kicking up dust as they walked through the tunnel, jumped in surprise.
"Hey! What the hell's wrong with him?" the leader shouted, his breath shortening, his eyes fixed on the short one.
As the short thug collapsed, Garret walked around the body to stand in front of the remaining thugs, with Cubie-chan illuminating him.
"You little brat! How dare you harm my dear comrade!" the tall terrorist clenched his fist and charged at Garret.
"Hey, wait! Don't be rash li—"
Before the leader could finish speaking, the tall thugs lunged forward and punched Garret in the face, dust swirling beneath his feet.
"This is for my frie—"
Not waiting for the attack to land, Garret pressed the stun gun against the silver emblem.
"Ugh, what a bunch of idiots!"
Ralph slapped his forehead hard, his jaw clenched as he saw Garret chuckling.
Fury boiled in his veins, thundering through his mind.
His fingers gripped his mask.
"What's so funny, huh?! My men just got knocked out, you little brat!"
"Well, it is funny, isn't it? I just touched their silver emblems with a little stun gun, that's all," Garret replied, his tone flat and cold, his breath was steady.
"That's right! These two came on so tough at first, and now they're down like dogs! It's laugh-out-loud funny!" Cubie-chan mocked the fallen thugs :)
Then, Garret dashed to shock Ralph, who stood before him.
Sensing a smooth of the ground felt beneath his feet.
However, his attempt seemed futile.
Ralph snapped the stun gun in half before yanking off his black mask.
A sharp, pale green face with a chilling sneer, revealing fangs, stared with piercing blood-red eyes.
"You... I'll give you one last chance. Will you leave peacefully, or will you suffer?" he said, stroking his long, gray hair.
"I'm not going anywhere," Garret retorted, pulling a hidden weapon from his pants pocket.
TRI - ANGLEZ
A blue triangle spinning rapidly, emitting a bright light in the dark tunnel.
Seeing this, Cubie-chan's light dimmed slightly as she conjured glowing hands, ready to fight.
"That's right! Is he your dad? Thinking he can just order you around!"
"Hey, Cubie! You shouldn't say that!" Garret flinched, whispering near Cubie-chan's core.
"Enough with the sweet talk! Prepare to die!!"
Ralph roared, the sound making everyone freeze. He grabbed a long spear, aiming to impale Garret and Cubie-chan.
Seeing this, Garret gripped the TRI-ANGLEZ in his hand. It emitted a sharp, blue light that pierced towards the giant figure in front of him.
The sharp light flashed towards Ralph.
A loud "whoosh" echoed through the tunnel, but it seemed to have no effect.
"You're weak!" Ralph roared into the air.
"No... no way! It hit him!" Garret muttered, his gaze fixed on Ralph, his gasp escaping, stunned by what he was seeing.
Cubie-chan shuddered and shot up beside Ralph, swinging her holographic hand at his face.
"Take this, you jerk!"
In a split second, Ralph blocked the attack and landed a counter-punch.
Cubie-chan crashed to the ground, her core scraping along the smooth surface until Garret scooped her up.
"Are you alright, Cubie?"
"N-no... I'm alright."
Her core pulsed back upwards before Garret whispered beside her, "Okay, listen. I don't have my Authority yet, so I can't fight much. But I'll distract him. You take the shot."
Cubie-chan's core vibrated slightly before she turned back to regain her footing.
Everything was interrupted as the giant green goblin swung his long hair before beginning to cast a spell. The wind suddenly began to gust as he gripped his spear, left foot stepping forward.
AIR SLASH
Blades of wind from the spear lashed out at Garret and Cubie-chan, piercing closer.
"It's alright. I'll handle this," Cubie-chan declared.
The blue light within her surface intensified, shining around them.
ENERGY SHIELD
A glowing barrier dome enveloped both of them.
