The Witch really had a lucky aura, bringing him two surprises in just one day.
He would definitely reward her handsomely next time.

The sound of hurried footsteps came from the hallway.
"Amon!"
Tony Stark's slightly weary voice came from outside the door, "You've been inside for so long, are you having a romantic rendezvous with a beauty?"

Amon casually pulled open the door, smiling and taking a deep breath, "This room still has her lingering fragrance!"

Tony Stark, who used to be a playboy, couldn't help but sigh at Amon's leisurely appearance.
He was a superhero now, but the burdens on his shoulders were much heavier than before.
Plus, he had Pepper now, so forget about going out and fooling around.
"Alright, let's go downstairs and chat!"
Amon adjusted the belt on his bathrobe, patted Tony Stark on the shoulder, and walked towards the stairs first.
As Amon moved, Tony Stark's peripheral vision caught sight of the open door.
There was no one in the messy room, only a shirt lying on the bed.
The floor-to-ceiling windows were open, and the curtains swayed gently in the breeze blowing in.

On the hand-woven, classic patterned carpet lay a gold-trimmed sofa, and the scent of incense lingered in the living room.
"Mr. Stark, would you like some wine or something else?"
Sitting on the soft, comfortable European sofa, Amon spread his hands and asked languidly.
"Wine…"
Tony Stark hesitated for a moment before shaking his head, "I'll have a cup of tea."
He had to stay alert now.
Amon just gave the maid a look, and soon two cups of Earl Grey tea were placed on the marble table in front of them.
"I never thought that Mr. Tony Stark, the famous superhero, would be up and about at noon, actually coming to my place."
After the maid left, Amon looked up and down at Tony Stark with a teasing tone.
Tony's mental state had been poor lately, his eyes filled with fatigue.
"Amon, don't joke around."
Facing the teasing, Tony's weary face squeezed out a wry smile, "I'm not in the mood to sleep now, let alone sleep until noon."
He used to sleep until noon, but that was a long time ago.
Now, all that was left on his face were those deep dark circles.
"Actually, I've heard about the incident in Germany, I was just about to go find you."
Amon put down his crossed legs, his lazy expression turning serious, and he got straight to the point.
"Yeah, you know Ross, that damn old guy from the military!"
Speaking of which, Tony Stark gritted his teeth, picked up his teacup and drained it in one gulp, then continued, "Now this damn guy is the Secretary of State at the Pentagon!"
"What does he want?"
Amon nodded in agreement, he didn't have a good impression of that guy.
"If we can't solve this current situation, the Avengers will be directly controlled by the government!"
Tony Stark put down his teacup and rubbed his temples, sighing constantly.
He was stuck in the middle, and no matter which side he chose, he felt extremely conflicted.
"Heh!"
Amon let out a disdainful sneer, "Do they really care about this? These heartless politicians are just looking for an excuse to control the Avengers!"
Every single one of these guys was acting for their own selfish interests.
And he knew very well that in this incident, besides Wanda being the biggest victim in the public eye, Tony Stark was undoubtedly the one under the most pressure, because this whole thing started because of him.
He had to be responsible for the entire Avengers, to clean up the mess and consequences of this incident.
And Secretary of State Ross had been planning this for a long time, wanting to have the Avengers managed by the government.
Although Tony Stark didn't oppose this decision, Steve Rogers and the others didn't want that.
This made Tony Stark extremely conflicted.
