Anna's pov
I slid into my 'hello kitty' pajamas after I was done drying my hair but there was a lingering thought that still kept glued to my brain.
What the hell did that Sebastian mean when he said that I would be perfect for his son?Like I couldn't stop blushing hard since I closed from work that evening and that Mabel could only make matters worse by teasing me nonstop.
My gaze kept momentarily fixed on my reflection in the mirror as I adorned my pretty face. Indeed I was a beauty, a sight for sore eyes, yeah allow me to boast because even I was crushing on myself. LoL, how ridiculous!.
A sudden knock on the door jolted me from my thoughts.
"Hey Anna, some guy wants to see you, he's waiting at the porch". Chloe my sister called from outside my room door. I immediately froze, Jeez! Charles was here already, I'm not even mentally prepared to meet him yet.
"Okay tell him to hold on for a little while"I said trying to catch my breath that was already tensed.
"Is he your boyfriend?, fuck!! that guy is really hot"Chloe said. I just bit my lips hard and tried not to blush harder.
"Chloe get out of there and just let me be"I said .
"Fuck you!!" She said and I overhead her footsteps receding. I stood up and stared at my reflection in the mirror, yeah, I looked perfect in my pj's and I didn't forget to add the final touch which was my favorite cologne. I stood there for some seconds studying myself before I gathered enough courage to take slow steps towards the door.
I was putting this all up just because I was going to meet my crush, Anna you are such a weirdo!
I finally stepped into the porch and the sight that greeted me wasn't what I expected, two black new edition Sedan cars were packed outside and rows of men who were neatly dressed in suit surrounded the cars and I was forced to wonder what this was all about. Where is Charles and what are these people doing at my house??
I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't notice the guy that had been standing a few feet's away from me, he'd been studying me ever since. I turned towards his direction and finally settled my gaze on him.
"Now you finally notice me right?". He said casually. It looked like my eyes were playing a joke on me, this guy, why does he look like the guy I saw with the billionaire at the coffee shop this morning.
"You...". I gaped at him in shock and a smile just just played across his lips
"Yes, he's hot right? You've got a really gorgeous boyfriend " I heard Chloe whisper in my ears. I jerked and turned to face her with a suprised look on my face.
"And who says he's my boyfriend " I rolled my eyes clearly pissed.
"Oh he isn't? well, I would recommend him for you " she chuckled and I glared at her . She bit her lips in a thin line after seeing that my expression wasn't pleasing.
"Why are you at my house?". I questioned the guy, well, my sister was right, he was indeed gorgeous but that wasn't my problem now.
"My boss wants to have a little chat with you ". He said pointing towards one of the sedan cars and almost immediately the car door opened and someone stepped out, it was the billionaire. My entire blood froze at that instant.
"Your boss why is he here?" I asked the guy and he just gave a long sigh.
"You will soon find out " he said and I didn't know when I began to panic. What does he want? Why is he at my house of all places? Wait and how does he know I live here, are these people some kind of stalkers or what.
I nearly forgot to breathe as the billionaire walked over to where I stood. A triumphant smile sat on his lips and I wondered why he was smiling and my head was going crazy from suspicious thoughts.
"Hello beautiful one". He called and I just forced meek smile.
"Hi Mr. Richard Sebastian"I bowed in courtsey.
"I'm sure you are suprised as to why I'm at your house right?". He asked and I just nodded.
"Please come inside" I said gesturing him to enter the house but he just shook his head in disapproval.
"I'll prefer standing"he smiled and I nodded.
"So to what do I owe this visit sir?". I asked now so curious than ever.
"Well something has been bothering me lately and when I saw you earlier at the coffee shop today you caught my interest" he said trying to speak as calmly as he could.
"And...?".I asked further.
"I have an offer for you"he said
"And what could that be?"I asked
"He wants to marry you"Chloe whispered in my ears and I bit my lips in frustration as I turned to stare at her with a murderous glare.
"Piss off Chloe".I warned and she remained calm.
"Anna Martins I want you to marry my son"he said and I was caught up in-between shock and surprise.
"What?". I found myself saying clearly dumbfounded.
"Yes I'm not cracking jokes, I want you to marry my son and I'm offering you a billion dollar in return " he said now with a serious look. My heart skipped a beat at the mention of a billion dollar. Was he serious?
"A billion dollar? But why do you want me to marry him?" I asked
"Well let's just say the girl he wants to marry doesn't just please me and I want you to stand in instead of her". He said
"Does he know about this?" I asked
"No, he doesn't. This is just between me and you"
"Then what are you going to do about his fiancee?". This thing was getting more interesting
"I will wire her some money and of course she loves money, she can do anything for money. That bitch!!"he said with a deep frown. I thought hard, this money was more than enough to settle my mom's surgical bills and I really don't want anything bad to happen to my mom if I don't gather the money on time. This offer just came like a platter of gold how could I say no.
" Do I have time to think about this?". I asked in a confused state.
"No, the wedding is in two days so there isn't much time.You don't have a choice Anna or I will kidnap your little pretty sister over there and yes! the police are out of bounds". He said with a mischievous grin on his lips.
I stared at him in disbelief.
"Is that a threat?" I bit my lips in what seemed like anger.
"What does it look like to you?"he chuckled
"Just say yes Anna, I still have a long life to live and it will be beneficial for us too" Chloe pleaded.
Now this so-called offer has turned into a threat. How ridiculous of him!
Well I want the money, it's worth a try for a billion dollars. I couldn't still believe I would be madly rich overnight. How insane!!!
"Fine I'll do it".I said with a smirk. I saw how his eyes lit up and a mischievous smile surfaced on his lips.
"You didn't have a choice after all" he said and I just scowled.
