[Third Person's PoV]
Danny flew out of the Ghost Zone, shutting the portal behind him before phasing out of the basement lab and into the night sky over Gotham City.
It was nighttime in Gotham, which meant it was at its most dangerous.
"Where are you guys?" Danny asked through his comms.
"We're a little busy here, Danny! We're actively chasing someone, but we're moving through—" Robin's voice crackled through the line before he quickly relayed their location.
Danny soared above Gotham's skyline, his silver hair flowing in the wind as he stretched out his arms. His ghostly tail flicked behind him as he picked up speed.
In moments, he spotted Batman and Robin racing across the rooftops below. A few buildings ahead of them, an agile figure dressed in tight black leather effortlessly leaped between rooftops, moving with grace and confidence.
Even from a distance, Danny recognized her instantly.
'Is that Selina Kyle!? Am I seriously about to meet Catwoman? I met The Flash and Catwoman all in one day! Can this day get any better?!'
A mischievous grin spread across his face as he turned invisible and dove downward, gaining speed.
Catwoman was enjoying the thrill of outmaneuvering Batman, effortlessly flipping through the air and grappling across buildings. After executing a smooth roll and breaking into a sprint, she glanced back, chuckling at how The Dark Knight and Boy Wonder were still on her tail.
When she turned forward—
"BOO!!!" Danny materialized right in front of her, arms outstretched.
Selina let out a startled yelp, stumbling backward as her heart nearly leaped out of her chest.
Before she could recover, Danny flicked his wrist, surrounding her in a glowing ectoplasmic force field. He burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! Oh, man! You should've seen your face! Priceless! Hahaha! I am never gonna get tired of doing that!"
Selina quickly composed herself and reached out toward the force field—only to recoil with a wince as a sharp shock ran up her arm.
"Yeah, sorry. Should've warned you about that," Danny smirked.
Selina narrowed her eyes. "Who the hell are you, you little brat?"
"The name's Phantom. Danny Phantom~" he said, flashing her a cocky grin.
"Nice, you caught her. Good work, Danny," Robin said, landing beside Batman on the rooftop.
"Oh, come on," Selina scoffed in annoyance. "Of course you're with them. Three against one? Not very gentlemanly."
"Drop the force field," Batman ordered.
Danny complied, and Batman immediately grabbed Selina by the arm.
"Hand it over," he demanded, holding out his hand expectantly.
Selina leaned back slightly, running a clawed finger along his chin. "Come on~ Can't you be lenient just this once? You know what day it is, don't you? A girl like me deserves a little treat~" she purred.
Danny leaned toward Robin and muttered, "Do we really have to stand here and watch this?"
Robin sighed, placing a hand on his hip with an exasperated look. "You don't even know the half of it. They've got this weird cat-and-mouse game going on."
"More like cat-and-bat," Danny quipped.
Robin smirked and nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, Batman remained stoic, his hand still outstretched.
Selina huffed before placing a diamond into his palm. "Happy now?" she pouted.
"All of it, Selina," Batman said flatly.
Grumbling, she reached into her suit, and suddenly Batman found his hand filled with gold accessories and gemstones.
Danny blinked in confusion. "Where the hell was she keeping all of that?"
Selina smirked and winked. "A lady has all sorts of special compartments."
Danny wrinkled his nose. "Gross…"
Selina's eye twitched before she snapped, "That is NOT what I meant, you ghost brat!" She then huffed and glared at him. "And I would've gotten away if it weren't for you!"
"No, you wouldn't have," Batman said matter-of-factly.
"Can I go now?" Selina asked, clearly annoyed—before her expression shifted into a sultry smirk. She placed a hand on Batman's chest and purred, "Unless, of course, you'd like to take the clothes off my back as well~ Away from the kids, of course."
Danny raised an eyebrow and turned to Robin. "Wow. Her mood changes on a dime. Is she… bipolar?"
Selina's mouth twitched before she turned back to Batman, only to narrow her eyes.
"Wait… Did you just snicker?" she asked in disbelief.
"No," Batman replied, completely deadpan.
"And yes, you may go. I'll return everything you stole," Batman said with a frown.
"Wait! Before you leave!" Danny called out as he floated toward Selina. He reached into his utility belt and pulled out a small notebook along with a pen. "Can you please sign this? I'd really appreciate your autograph!"
"Danny!" Robin exclaimed in disbelief. "The Flash is one thing, but—"
"Just because she's a bad guy doesn't mean I'm not a big fan," Danny said shyly. "So please?"
Selina arched an eyebrow. "You serious?"
Danny nodded enthusiastically. "Right here, please! Big fan," he added, patting the notepad with his pen, a green blush creeping onto his cheeks.
Selina blinked before a smirk spread across her lips. "I know I have fans, but I didn't expect them to be so young. You might not be so bad after all, Ghostie~" She took the pen and signed her name with a small cat doodle beside it.
"Hehehehe!" Danny giggled excitedly, clutching the autograph like it was a prized possession.
Robin groaned, dragging a hand down his face in exasperation.
"Cute kid," Selina teased, chuckling as she recognized Batman's subtle look of annoyance.
She took a few steps backward until she stood at the edge of the rooftop. Blowing Batman a playful kiss, she purred, "Maybe next year, you might bring me a little present for the holiday~"
"Just go home, Selina, and don't cause trouble. I don't have time for your games," Batman said with a deep frown.
Rolling her eyes, Selina flipped off the rooftop and disappeared into the night.
"Let's go," Batman said, turning toward Danny and Robin.
"Wait—before that, I have a favor to ask," Danny said hesitantly, rubbing the back of his head.
Batman narrowed his eyes. "What is it?"
"I need you to teach me how to produce and edit music within a week," Danny said sheepishly.
Batman and Robin both stared at him.
"...What?" they asked in unison.
…
Meanwhile...
Catwoman moved effortlessly between buildings, scaling fire escapes with the grace of a gymnast. Every movement was precise, fluid, and efficient.
Flipping over a final ledge, she landed in front of a window. She placed her hand on the glass and slid it open with ease. With a satisfied sigh, she slipped inside her penthouse, greeted almost instantly by a sleek black cat that rubbed affectionately against her leg.
Tossing her mask onto the bed, she knelt down, scooping the feline into her arms. "Hey, Isis. Did you miss me~?" she cooed, pressing a kiss to the cat's head.
As she walked further inside, she flicked on the lights, revealing an apartment filled with more cats lounging about. However, she suddenly froze, her eyes locking onto the unexpected sight in front of her.
Sitting on her table was an elaborate arrangement—large bouquets of roses, an expensive bottle of wine, an array of rare collectibles, and a small jewelry box. At the center of it all was an envelope with her name on it.
Curious, she stepped forward and picked it up, chuckling as she read the front:
"Happy Valentine's Day. —Bruce Wayne"
Lifting the envelope to her nose, she took a slow breath, a knowing smile forming when she recognized the familiar scent.
A soft, adoring expression crossed her face as she murmured, "Maybe he is a romantic after all~"
