After opening up to his family about his past life, Gevran felt as if a massive weight had been lifted from his chest. No longer did he have to hide his scars. Without hesitation, Gevran signed up.
Soon after, the list of candidates was revealed. Alongside Gevran were two formidable opponents: Han Jiwoo, the face of Bloom Society and a well-known youth activist, and Kim Daehyun, a respected senior and the former president backed by the influential Crown Circle.
The campus buzzed with anticipation. Each candidate's group moved swiftly to campaign—designing posters, launching social media campaigns, and reaching out to fellow students. The G-Force team worked tirelessly to boost Gevran's presence, with Seol-Vi taking a key role in organizing efforts. But their message wasn't about popularity. It was about change. About creating a safer, kinder campus.
Later that day, students and organization members gathered in the university's grand hall. One by one, the candidates stood before the crowd to present their visions.
When Gevran took the stage, the room hushed. His tone was calm, but his words struck deep.
"I know what it feels like to be humiliated. I know the pain of being alone. But I also know the power of a single hand reaching out. Together, we can build a movement—not just to react, but to prevent, to protect before it's too late."
Applause thundered through the hall.
The next morning, voting commenced. Though Seol-Vi wore a smile, her eyes betrayed her worry. Gevran, on the other hand, remained composed, comforting those who felt anxious.
Two hours later, the results were announced.
"With the highest number of votes, the new president of the Seoul University Anti-Bullying Organization is… Gevran Yi!"
The hall erupted in cheers. G-Force members embraced him, and Seol-Vi watched with quiet pride.
That evening, Gevran led his first official meeting as president. He laid out a bold plan: mentorship programs, awareness campaigns, partnerships with high schools, and scholarships for survivors of bullying who've reclaimed their futures.
Six core members were chosen to help lead the charge. Seol-Vi, known for her dedication and sharp mind, was appointed as secretary. Together, she and Gevran quickly became an unstoppable team—organized, efficient, and driven by shared purpose.
As the weeks passed, admiration blossomed into something deeper. Perhaps, Gevran thought, wounds from the past weren't meant to be erased—but transformed into stepping stones toward something more.
Maybe even love.
