Chapter 68 – A New Page

"Some old stories need to end... so the new page can begin with golden ink."

Autumn had returned to Seoul University.

Maple leaves fell like memories, painting the campus paths with fiery red and amber hues. Students filled the walkways, some old, some new, all buzzing with the excitement of a new semester.

Amid the flow of people, five figures stood out instantly.

Gevran Yi Jido walked in his signature calm stride, clad in a black coat and gray scarf. Park Jiwan multitasked on two phones while tossing flirty winks. Ryu Haesung kept a low profile, observing his surroundings with sharp eyes. Choi Eunwoo recorded vlog footage with practiced flair. And Mi Yong simply enjoyed her music, earbuds in, a peaceful smile on her lips.

The media once dubbed them the G-Force—the student elite behind ASTRA, the revolutionary AI-based logistics system, and SeoulPot, a futuristic restaurant now ranked among Forbes Asia's Top 5 Startups.

"Feels like we just left for a side quest, huh?" Jiwan yawned as they entered the campus gates.

"And we didn't get expelled. That's a win," Mi Yong added.

"It wasn't a warzone, just an academic leave," Gevran replied with a half-smile.

Eunwoo zoomed in on Gevran with his camera. "You realize the media's calling you the face of the next generation, right? How does it feel, Mr. Future Vice President?"

"My blood pressure says hi," Gevran deadpanned. Laughter followed.

---

Despite his celebrity status, Gevran was still a third-semester student majoring in Innovative Business and Technology. He still took quizzes, sat in crowded lectures, and received not-so-secret glances from freshmen.

"He's like... the main character in a college K-drama," whispered a psych major. "But he's single, right?"

"Totally. I checked his Instagram. Zero girlfriend content."

Rumors flew like dry autumn leaves—quiet, subtle, and capable of stirring emotions in any heart.

---

A week later, the university's official bulletin board exploded with news:

"This Year's Freshman Orientation Committee Will Be Led by None Other Than Gevran Yi Jido."

Campus and online communities went wild.

"GEVRAN?! AS OSPEK LEADER?"

"This will be the most aesthetic and organized orientation ever."

"Where do I sign up? I need to see him live."

In the orientation committee meeting room, the atmosphere was initially formal—until Jiwan broke the ice.

"Well, the committee's set. Our leader? Obviously, Gevran Yi Jido. Smart, rich, talented, humble, handsome…" He glanced around. "But still SINGLE."

Laughter erupted.

Gevran raised an eyebrow. "Seriously?"

"Absolutely. The world deserves to know even you aren't perfect."

Haesung chuckled. "Focus, people. We've got a big job. Especially now that the Cain Seo-Jun saga is over."

Silence settled for a moment.

---

Cain Seo-Jun.

A name that once brought tension to the air.

Once the campus elite, Cain had challenged Gevran on every front—power, popularity, influence. But that battle ended the day Cain's family was exposed in a massive financial scandal.

His father was jailed for corruption, and Cain himself was convicted of laundering money through fake student organizations.

He was expelled. Detained.

"Are you okay with this?" Eunwoo had asked Gevran at the time.

"He wasn't a monster. Just a boy chasing power with no guidance."

That was Gevran—always graceful, even in victory.

For G-Force, Cain's fall wasn't just the end of a rivalry. It was proof they had matured, and that integrity could win.

---

Now, they stood on new ground.

They weren't just elite students. They were leaders. Innovators. Symbols of what could be.

And through orientation, they wanted to pass on their flame.

"Our theme: Rise Together," Gevran declared.

"Perfect," Mi Yong whispered.

"And we'll need a great MC for the opening event," Eunwoo added, glancing at Jiwan.

Jiwan raised both hands. "I'm in! But only if Gevran makes an appearance. Minimum requirement: greet all the fangirls waiting for him."

Laughter filled the room.

And just like that, a new page was turned. No grudges, no regrets. Just the journey ahead—and the friendships that had grown stronger through every season.
