Chapter 9 - 9

[Trading platform reminder: Lord Kashde paid 100 soul crystals to buy a high-quality pet egg...]

[The store owned by the lord has received 100 soul crystals!]

Just when the number of soul crystals was about to exceed 200, another pet egg was bought.

The number of soul crystals in Jason's account instantly reached 298!

It was almost three hours before noon.

The soul crystals for the purchase of the perfect-grade architectural blueprints had all been collected.

Jason was a little unfamiliar with the second buyer.

After checking the trading platform, he discovered that the other party's Kashid Shop had climbed to the fifth position in a short period of time.

What the other party relied on was a common quality medicinal herb called "Snake Letter Grass."

This herb has detoxifying properties and is a rare pharmaceutical product at this stage, making it very popular among lords.

There were 30 units of Snake Letter Grass in total, and each unit sold for 6 soul crystals.

It was now sold out.

After closing the trading platform, Jason opened the menu for discounted products.

He directly searched for Blue Mountain Workshop.

With anticipation and excitement, he clicked to buy.

[Confirm to pay 230 soul crystals to buy [Blue Mountain Workshop Architectural Drawings]?]

[Yes]

After confirming the purchase, Jason had a stack of thick architectural drawings in his hands.

Although he didn't fully understand the contents, it didn't delay Jason from using them.

After choosing to use the drawings, the open space next to the Spartan training camp was quickly surrounded by golden light.

A moment later, the golden light dissipated.

A square, two-story building emerged from the ground, occupying nearly 200 square meters of land.

Jason stared at the Blue Mountain Workshop. An information interface appeared in his sight.

[Blue Mountain Workshop (Perfect Grade Building)]

[Level: Level 1]

[Note: Upgrading to Tier 2 requires 50 soul crystals, 700 units of wood, 200 units of stone, and 50 units of refined iron.]

[Function: Comes with ten apprentices of foundry masters. The probability of apprentices being promoted to experts is 100%, the probability of being promoted to master is 10%, and the probability of being promoted to saint forging teachers is 0.1%.]

[For every 20 soul crystals paid, a territorial citizen can be converted into a casting master!]

[Note: The promotion route for casting masters is: apprentice level, expert level, master level, saint level, god level!]

[Master caster: Perfect use of material properties!]

[Holy casting master: Casting equipment surpassing the constraints of materials and creating legends!]

[God casting master: Turning corruption into magic!]

Ten casting masters walked out of the Blue Mountain Workshop and greeted Jason.

They were wearing dark blue uniforms, with an apprentice-level foundry badge on their chests.

The words "Blue Mountain" on the badge had changed to "Universal Blue Mountain."

[Founder 1]

[Level: Apprentice Level]

[Loyalty: 100 (die loyal)]

[Potential: There is a 0.1% probability of becoming a Saint Foundry.]

[Founder 2]

[Level: Apprentice Level]

[Loyalty: 100 (die loyal)]

[Potential: There is a 0.1% probability of becoming a Saint Foundry.]

The panels of the ten casters were identical.

Only one in a thousand casting masters would become a saint.

Would any of them be the one in a thousand?

Though the casting divisions were only apprentice-level now, Jason believed that they all had a bright future.

[The lord gains 320 experience points and 11 soul crystals!]

Jason's thoughts were interrupted by the golden light overflowing from his body.

His level had surpassed LV5.

It didn't take much thought to know that Derrick and the fourteen Spartan warriors had once again killed a monster with a level of 10 or higher.

Sure enough, it wasn't long before Derrick dragged back another huge red-armored crocodile.

The Spartan warriors following behind him each pulled at least two ordinary red-armored crocodiles.

They must have discovered the habitat of the red-armored crocodile.

Jason looked at Derrick.

His level was a little behind Jason's, still at LV4, but it wasn't far from a breakthrough.

Among the remaining Spartan warriors, the four earliest Spartan warriors, including Xiu, were all LV4.

The remaining ten warriors ranged between LV2-LV3.

After two battles, almost all fifteen had sustained injuries.

Jason ordered the Spartans to return to the Spartan training camp for temporary repairs.

Then, he pointed to the warehouse and said to the ten casting masters:

"You can use ordinary materials freely. For the high-quality materials, don't touch them for now."

The reason for not using the fine materials immediately was that Jason wanted to first assess the abilities of the foundries to avoid wasting precious materials.

"Follow your orders, my lord!" the casters said in unison.

After the ten casters left, they immediately rushed to the warehouse to find materials.

Casting gear was both their job and their passion.

Only by continuing to craft equipment and learning from experience could they upgrade their ranks and eventually become expert-level foundry masters, master-level foundry masters, or even saint-level foundry masters.

At that point, their reputation would be known throughout Chaos Continent, alongside Jason's.

Jason waited in the castle, watching the warehouse information.

Although the casters were only at apprentice level, the quality and speed of the equipment they were creating was far superior to the previous lord who had only signed up for a craftsman.

Materials flowed into the Blue Mountain Workshop without interruption.

Even Jason's stockpile of refined iron, needed to upgrade his buildings, was transferred to the workshop for use by the foundries.

Fine iron would become more abundant in the future.

On Chaos Mall, common-grade iron ore costs more than 800 soul crystals.

The architectural drawings for a steelmaking furnace were relatively cheap, at only 150 soul crystals.

It was still within Jason's reach.

If he couldn't wait for the discount, Jason wouldn't hesitate to spend the money to buy one.

After all, things like fine iron would be necessary for both equipment and building upgrades. No lord would have too much of it.

Materials were sent to the Blue Mountain Workshop one after another.

After half an hour, the equipment began to pour into the warehouse.

Bows, spears, machetes, swords, leather armor, shields, battle axes, helmets, and boots...

Each of the ten apprentice-level casters seemed to have chosen a specific type of equipment to make.

All types of equipment were sent to the warehouse.

Though they were ordinary quality, they were far from subpar.

Each piece of equipment was a standard design, with the words Universal Blue Mountain stamped on them.

After two hours, 73 sets of equipment had been stored in the warehouse!

The total value was approximately 1,500 soul crystals!

"Lords, are you ready to face the fear of being dominated by the Universal Store?"

Seeing the materials in the warehouse, Jason felt a sense of pride.

There would be pets.

There would be iron ore.

There would also be third-tier fires!

[Blue Mountain Workshop: You have acquired an expert caster.]

What?

So fast!

Jason eagerly checked the new information on his Blue Mountain Workshop staff.

Foundry No. 7 had disappeared, replaced by an expert-level caster named Cang Yun.

[Founder: Cang Yun]

[Level: Expert Level]

[Field of Expertise: Armor]

[Potential: There is a 2% probability of becoming a Saint Foundry!]
