20 years later...a lone individual was walking toward the gate of the recently set dynasty Zickard's capital city.
Caped, he wore a simple plain white mask, a thin sword on his wrist.
His sudden appearance didn't go unnoticed by the guards who raised their weapon...it was night time so external visits were prohibited.
Guard : Stop right there !
And to his surprise the man did stop...when all thought he was just a random traveler, things went downhill for them when the man stretched his arm and unsheathed his sword.
A black katana, a weapon the world had no knowledge of...
Guard 2 : What are yo-
Before he could finish his sentence, a white flash sparkled in front of them...
???: [Cardinal slash].
In his words, the wall protecting the capital was instantly broken...shaped in a cross way, this unknown attack shook the entire city, alarming everyone.
Standing in the middle of this destruction, the man sighed and turned around.
???: You guys were in the way, sorry.
Addressing the completely erased guards, the man once again turned around this time using his detection skill.
Hundreds of guards were coming this way...however he didn't move or tried to escape as if he was actually waiting for them.
Finally after a long minute, the first enemy came...and it was a familiar face for the man.
Luna : Quite bold to attack the capital alone in the middle of the night.
Her voice resonned, the masked man looked up at the top of a house...long silver hair flowing along the cold wind of the night.
Luna from the royal mages...the strongest magic user in the kingdom.
???: What a lovely night to attack, don't you think ?
The full moon was guiding the sky...a brief silence as Luna's eyes suddenly widened.
Luna : Y-you...
???: When was the last time we saw each other ? I guess two decades ago...
Luna : D-daw-
Her words were cut off as an army of guards appeared, weapons in the air...their loud walk could be heard through the entire district.
The man turned toward them completely ignoring Luna...the girl too, she was confused as to what to do now.
???: Well i'll go ahead then, see you later Luna.
Talking as if they were long time friends, the man disappeared leaving Luna silent.
The next thing she knew was that the 132 guards on their way were gone...nothing from them was left...
Luna : This was...
Snowie : (Master Dawn ! He finally reappeared!)
The spirit appeared in a spiritual form where only Luna could see...she shouted, those past years were horrendous as the alchemy between Luna and Snowie was never great.
But in the end they had a common goal...it was finding the same person...
Back to Dawn, he was not out of the capital...on a hill a few hundred kilometers away...staring back at the town, he wasn't here to simply make an appearance.
Waiting a few more seconds, he lifted his arm letting a few magic circles appear in the air.
Dawn : [Transfer rewrite].
The magic circle turned into an information particle, his eyes glowed an instant before one of the trees nearby he was pointing his arm at disappeared.
And in its stead, a girl appeared...the girl with tainted hair was the former princess of this kingdom...now short light blond hair, she slowly fell on the ground and breathed heavily.
The phenomenon that just happened was an exchange of information previously set...two days ago this same tree's information was saved inside Dawn's mind along with Ria's information who was previously turned into an object and not living behind.
Using unique skills: Author, Reader and Fiction, rewriting the information in a way to bend the law of space...switching the place of two things was possible.
You could also say that the moment before Ria switched places...she had died becoming a non living object.
Dawn : Were you done ?
Ria : Yes, thank you...
Over the years, the once weak girl has grown...now a proper woman, she held in her hand a freshly cut head belonging to the king Zickard...
All this was perfectly executed, Dawn served as a distraction by attacking openly while Ria sneaked in and killed the king.
Dawn : We can leave then.
Turning around, Ria looked at the man she has been following for two decades now...
Ria : Won't you...see our former friends ?
Dawn : You know very well, right now I have no right to call them friends.
Speaking those heavy and cold words, Ria shook her head...looking up at the night sky, she remembered that day when they left the night garden.
At the moment, Luminous Valentine was staring at the two humans leaving her castle...she didn't tell them goodbye and just let them do.
Her eyes followed the boy's back as she shook her head.
Luminous : Fufu, show me something interesting.
The boy in question was walking in silence, the girl behind him was trailing...this was clearly not a vacation or relaxing trip.
Ria : Where are we going ?
Dawn : Humans kingdom is a big no, i had already seen some wanted posters of me from the dynasty Zickard's demand.
As he pronounced the new name of Muth, Ria bit her lips...the hatred she felt toward the new royal family was beyond all.
Dawn : Calm down, I promise you will have your revenge.
Ria Pov
It has been 2 days since we left that vampire city...my heart felt more empty than ever as I stared at the campfire in front of me.
We were now in a forest...frankly to be said, it's a very small forest but dense...
From what I know our destination is for now the Republic of Ungracia.
Dawn : Are you still hungry ?
Ria : No...
For days now we have been eating berries or fish caught on the spot...it's very different from the royal life I was used to.
Ria : You still haven't told me what we were going to do there...
Staring at the fire, Dawn didn't look at me...instead he threw some more wood at the fire and sighed.
Dawn : Ungracia even now doesn't have good relations with other nations, we will be safe for a moment there and...
Ria : And ?
Dawn : Never mind.
I looked at him suspiciously but decided to not pry...he is taking care of most things during our travels as I don't even know the basics of survival in the wild.
It was always my brother taking care of our stuff back then...
Dawn : (I had received this corrupted egg during the VOTW announcement...i have never heard of such a thing but the best i can conclude for now is that it's a hero egg who has rotten...)
I wonder what i have been doing my whole life, i thought i was kind of special being able to feel if one has divine blessing...
Dawn : (But as the name suggests, it's corrupted. I might be able to cure it and gain the hero egg and for that...I have to rely on the queen of spirit.)
But in the end, I wasn't able to achieve anything as both a princess and mage.
Dawn : We will stay at Ungracia until we are ready to face the world itself.
Ria : And how long will that be ?
Dawn : It will depend honestly, maybe a decade, 20 years or 80...i don't know.
That's long...whatever, I will kill them for sure even if it's the last thing I do !
Dawn : Keep your rage for the day you'll face them, for now focus on improving yourself.
Ria : Yes...
He is right...if I'm totally blinded by revenge I will miss a lot of things and lose myself...
Dawn Pov
At first I wanted to go to Dwargon but this isn't a good choice as it will provide me with nothing.
I need a safe place where I could improve...Ungracia where Ramiris reside is the best place for that.
From where we are and the way we travel, we'll be there in 2 weeks...it's fine as we won't encounter much trouble.
I had lost a major part of my power with Snowie...but I'm still confident enough to take on random bandits.
Ria : I'll go to sleep first...
Dawn : Sure, I'll wake you up early in the morning, I rather we travel during the less crowded moments of the day.
Ria : Sure.
Laying down, Ria was slowly adapting to her new lifestyle...this is good, she is weak right now but i can see potential in her.
Also...it's my debt to take care of her, Leo he gave me a second will to live...
Anyway, I clenched my fist as my eyes closed...I had gained a new skill, Fiction...it's weird but I feel a strange connection to it.
For the past 2 days, I tried to use it but it fell off as too many things happened...the power was unstable.
Dawn : If a name like appeared in the light novel, what would it do ?
I naturally thought about something op like reality or law manipulation but i just don't feel capable of that.
Until now there is a pattern, Fiction, Reader and Author...they seem to be a link between them.
If Reader allows me to read between the lines of the story, Author allows me to rewrite the story...then Fiction would be the factor that determines the story.
Dawn : Mmh...
Am i really going to try that ? I wondered before sighing again...grabbing my sword, I unsheathed it and pointed toward my left thigh.
I closed my eyes and focussed...making an image of myself, I am the story...reading through this story I analyzed each and every single line, letters...
Dawn : This...
This could work...I smirked as I smashed the sword down, the pain I should have felt never came as instead the blade missed my leg from an inch.
Dawn : I...rewrote my own fate.
Pff-hahahaha ! Fate, no there is even more...Unique skill : Author was always weakened because it needed both Reader and Fiction to perform at its full potential !
That moment i used [Unachieved Rewrite] i now understand why i unconsciously said that...because deep inside my soul, i knew that unique skill: Author's potential was still locked...
That also means...those three skill...Author, Reader and Fiction were fated to be mine.
Yeah...with that I can finally see a path toward the top of the world...

Back to the future after Ria killed King Zickard, she shook her head and followed Dawn as they left the scene.
In the capital, Luna was staring at the sky as the entire kingdom was set into chaos...behind her was Snowie, taking a spiritual form where only her host could see her.
Snowie: (Master Dawn changed a lot...and I felt it, inside him...)
Her eyes turning colder...she never finished her thought as a secret rage filled her.
An instant later, a capped figure appeared behind her...
Luna : Sola...did you see him too ?
Sola : I did...
The capped individual being Sola who served the kingdom in the shadow under the teaching of Mia.
She had grown stronger since then but her height never passed 1.55 meters...
Luna : How strong was he ?
Sola : Even my skin couldn't completely tell it...(I'm certain he has evolved into an enlightened human or even a saint at this point...my skill couldn't read his status...)
Sighing Luna looked up at the sky again...even if they were separated this sky was the same for the 3 of them.
Luna : I couldn't give it back to you...
Biting her lips as her hand clenched on the necklace she has previously kept for 2 decades, Luna finally let out her frustration.
Sola : (Tch, why are you acting like this is hard just for you...I had been alone for all these years forced to stay hidden...)
Clicking her tongue, Sola turned around, her long blonde hair revealed...she had long ago stopped hiding her identity, not like anyone knew about her beside Mia...
Even Ray who knew it was dead...
Sola : I'll leave then.
Receiving no answer, Sola just disappeared into thin air...Luna stayed a bit longer as multiple voices echoed from the guards patrolling below.
Guard : Did you hear about the news ?
Guard 2 : Which ?
Guard : They say that both the orc lord and Charybdis were resurrected at the same time...
Guard 2 : What ?! Are you serious ?!
Guard : Yh dude ! It seems to all happen in that small forest near Dwargon !
Their loud voices filled the silent sky of this night...
Back to Dawn...
After leaving, they both appeared near Night garden as Ria fell on the ground coughing.
Ria : Ugh, I'll never get used to this...
Dawn : You better be because from now onward, we'll use spacial transportation a lot more often.
Sighing, he looked up...the operation took 30 minutes, it's still the middle of the night.
Dawn : I had set the teleportation base here but i don't want to see Luminous yet...
Years have passed but Luminous was still a foe he couldn't even dream of facing.
Ria : So...what should we do now ?
Dawn : I heard the news of a tragedy going on...an orc lord and Charybdis appearing at the same time.
Ria : That's bad...I mean how strong are these monsters ?
Dawn : Mmh...(For the orc lord I could take him out if he is like Geld but Charibdis is another story...she might be weaker than most demon lord but she is still comparable to them...Surely I could defeat her, even easily but that will all depend on whereas my skill work on her or not.)
Thinking about it, Dawn formed a few plans but none were really fruitful and beneficial.
What would he gain by taking those foe out anyway ? A demon lord seed ? More power ? No, none of that mattered.
Dawn : The human nation won't let this go without action...(If this is an event of the past then that means those two foes didn't manage to break through...in the worst case a demon lord will take care of them or...)
Dawn was confident that the now former Dynasty Zickard had enough power to take the orc lord...Luna has become a lot stronger, Dawn could tell with the single interaction they had.
Dawn : (I also felt Sola...and Snowie, they should be fine.)
A small smile breaking his cold emotionless composure, Ria's eyes widened when she saw that.
Ria : I-so are we going to go there ?
Dawn : No...for now let's go back to Ungracia.
Ria : Huh ? But I thought we were finished there ?
Dawn : We are, I just thought about visiting Ramiris once in a while, she must feel lonely don't you think.
Ria : I see...but everytime we go there I feel like she is shrinking and becoming more childish.

Dawn and Ria were familiar with Ramiris...in fact they have been in the dwelling of spirits years ago.
When they first met her she was still a beautiful lady...but slowly her appearance changed to be more childish.
Right now, she has the form of an 18 year old woman...
Ria : By the way...is she still sleeping ?

The sword shone an instant as a humanoid figurine appeared above...she took the form of a young lady.
Her size compared to Sola, her face showed sleepiness as she looked down at Dawn.

Dawn : Yeah, you slept enough for now to come back to my soul.
Dusk : Hai...but Tenryu is just too comfortable...
Dawn : Glad you like it, this sword means a lot.
Taking a salute pose, Dusk closed her eyes and joined her master's body...she is a spirit of light.
