A young man with golden blonde hair and brown eyes looked to the distant stars as he reminisced about his life. 'I am Luke Wayne, the heir to the Wayne family, one of the four great families in the human empire. In this world, there are other species than just humans, from demons to angels, any species you can name, and I am sure that they exist in this world. Well, the usual fantasy stuff where a dude from the modern world gets reincarnated and all.
The Wayne family's founder is one of the first humans to awaken other than the human emperor, they founded the first and only human empire in this world that has lasted over a 1000 years. There are 3 other families, but the Wayne family is special because it doesn't take any interest in politics and any other conflict inside the nation, but carries a power that even the other families can't compete with. Usually, being born in this high society brings one a great amount of troubles and expectations from their father, right?
Well, not me, sadly, or maybe not sadly. When I was born, my mother died during childbirth, and my father, being the great Romeo he is, basically never left his office and always worked. Not that I am complaining, I was a full-grown adult in my previous life and was fully capable of handling myself since 5 years old. Now, back to the topic, he only ever shows up for my birthday and greets me before going back to the office, and tomorrow he will come again, but this time he is coming to announce me as the heir to the family.
Since this world is a fantast world, every 15-year-old hormonal teenager goes through an awakening to get recognized by the universe. They get a magic affinity ranked from tier 1 to 9 and a skill that goes from F to SSS, and from then on, they are registered in the Askin records or something. They can then get titles from the achievements they did, cultivate their rank, can level their existence up. Since tomorrow is my turn to get an awakening, I am good with a Tier 5 or above affinity and an A rank skill or something along those lines.' He thought as he got up from his viewpoint, which was a balcony, as he walked towards his bed, a king-sized sized made from gold and red stone. He casually plopped onto it and opened his phone.
'Magi-phone, an invention I made using magic stones and electronics, as a 21st-century man, I can't live without a phone. Using my immediate knowledge in electronics, software, and phones, I made this after 5 years of trying. Then, with some more money spent on soul contracts, and found some talents to blackmail and force them to sign the contract. I made a company that currently sells the Magi phone, and guess what? I have a monopoly since no one can copy it because they lack the basic circuitry knowledge, on top of the software knowledge, too. This phone, pulse the apps which I charge extra for, adding revenue for all, adding up to me being one of the richest on the continent. I didn't even add the inheritance of the Wayne family to it.'
Luke drifted off to sleep when he opened his eyes, the ceiling disappeared as he looked around and saw distant, late white space. He blinked in confusion as a voice rang in his ears.

Then the screen blinked out of existence, and a roll button showed up. Luke blinked again with a surprised look and said, "I didn't even get to say anything."
'This system seems to be simple enough, yet still very powerful. Originally, I was going to be satisfied with just being average and going the business route, but now with this opportunity, I want as much power as I can grab. This will be my new goal from now on: power first, money second, desires/morality/relationship third. So, let's start rolling.

'I don't know how long it has been, I stopped counting after 30 minutes. I was surprised that I was even able to count that much. I have passed over a lot of skills, but some of which stand out were the Tier 9 affinity of a common affinity, but the skills were A rank or S rank. I need to keep rolling until I get the perfect stat' Luke said as his eyes were now dead with tiredness, his voice raspy and thirsty. He couldn't die in this space as time, space, and death are currently stopped, but that doesn't mean that he didn't suffer. "This pain is for power, I am willing to suffer for it.
