Epilogue – One Year Later
The seasons changed, but some things stayed the same —
like how Hikaru still always wore Ren's hoodie whenever he missed him,
and how Ren still kissed Hikaru's forehead first thing every morning.
One year later, they had their own little apartment, filled with small memories —
photo frames, dried flowers, and silly love notes stuck on the fridge.
Daiki still barged in sometimes with loud teasing, and Hikaru's old friends often visited, filling the house with laughter.
On rainy days, Hikaru would sit by the window, a blanket wrapped around him, humming little songs.
Ren would come up behind him, wrapping his arms around Hikaru's waist, swaying slowly.
Ren (whispering against his ear):
"Still scared of the rain?"
Hikaru (smiling):
"No… not anymore. Not with you here."
They would sit like that, watching the rain fall gently outside, safe in their little world.
Through every storm, every laugh, every quiet moment —
they had each other.
Their love wasn't perfect —
it was real, it was patient, and it was theirs.
Through the rain, they had found their forever.
