"Have a seat, ladies. The food may take a while." Pulling the chairs out for them before moving to my side, letting them take a seat first, I pulled out a ziplock bag with my pack of cigarettes. This was my last one until I found a way to get more. I will look and see if they have a PX blueprint later. I hope they do. I opened the pack, pulled a smoke out, lit it, and took a drag before exhaling.
"What's the standing army of the Alpin kingdom?" I said, making Eleanor shake before opening her mouth. "The king controls about 150,000 men, but the nobles control more. Last time I knew, they had about 300,000 between them all. That is not counting calling up the peasant; if they did, their army would push close to 1,000,000 without hurting their domains." She said giving me the kingdom's information told me she was well on her way out of that land. Not that I blame her, but I would too if the land I am from would throw me away for something I didn't do, but it was done to me.
"Thank you, Eleanor," I said, knowing it hurt her a lot, before letting her calm down. How far is your Elven homeland from this place?" I asked Noralf to try to switch it up. I am from a kingdom 2,000 nini away, " she said as I tilted my head, wondering how far 2,000 nini is.
"Nini, is this world's mile, Host?"
So 2,000 miles away, that's pretty far from home for her. "How many Kingdoms are between here and your Kingdom?" I asked, trying to get the lay of the land from her. "Well, you would have to go through the Alpin Kingdom, then go west through the Brookfeild Kingdom and keep going until you get to the border of the next kingdom and take the Northern mountain pass going through Aetheria Kingdom and enter the Meadowspire Kingdom, then you will enter my kingdom of Mossyrealm. The Northern Great Orc forest stems from the great barren plains to the Northern mountain pass and from the Alpin kingdom to the Ocean kingdom of Wavecrest, spanning 500 nini long and 250 nini wide." She said, taking the drink that Pv2 Johnson had brought.
The forest is about as long as Florida and almost 100 miles wider. It is a pretty big piece of land, and I need to conquer it. "What are the races of those Kingdoms, and any like the Orcs I butchered?" I asked.
"The Aetheria Kingdom is a warlord-style kingdom. To pass through it, one needs to pay a price in gold; even then, they will try to take more. They have a habit of enslaving the elven women from my kingdom," Noralf said, looking a little angry about it, meaning odds are someone she knew got kidnapped. "A darker-skinned Human people rule that country." She added, looking at me to see what I would do. "Sounds like I won't like them very much. It looks like I will have to destroy them next," I said, making her eyes shine a little. Wars have been fought for less, and I can't let someone who is going to steal from my pocket when I start to trade, so flying over the Northern Mountains wouldn't be a problem for me.
I can attack them and they can't do shit to me, so why wouldn't I use that to destroy them. "Ladies, you wish for me to take you into my harem. I don't have a problem with that, but this Empire is built on military might, and I will be conquering many lands now. That may include your motherland, do you have a problem with that?" I asked to see how they would try to talk me out of it or accept it.
"Your desire is not for me to question," Eleanor said, letting a slow breath out. Her look made me nod. She would want me to try something else, but if I desired to attack the Alpin kingdom, she would accept it.
"I have no problem with it. I am not nobility and have no one to care about in that kingdom. But I wish that when you attack Aetheria, you would help me find my two sisters and mother." Noralf asked with a bow, lowering her head.
I looked at her for a minute before finally speaking, "I have no problem with looking for your family, while I conquer that kingdom. But the war will be foremost the more important thing, you will have to give a clear picture of the women so I can have someone draw them that way when we do attack I can task a unit to look for them from the towns and cities I have conquered but right now I need to clear out the Orc's. Tell me what you know about them, their force makeup, and where their strongholds are." I finished speaking, making her lift her head and smile before nodding.
"There are 100 tribes within the Great Orc forest, split into 10 major tribes and 20 middle tribes, followed by 70 lower tribes. The ten major tribes rule the forest on the tribal council; they split the forest into ten parts and control that area, with the others falling under them. The village you destroyed was a lower tribe off-branch, as lower tribes have a max of 10,000 Orcs. Once they hit that, they must expel the limit. That's over it—mainly the weaker ones or the ones they hate. Middle tribes have up to 50,000 orcs, and major tribes have 100,000. As for the size of the army here, every Orc is a warrior, so it's every Orc." She finished saying.
So I am looking at a couple of million, I need to start killing the smaller villages as fast as I can and build up my COP and FOB because once the Orcs find out I am hear a major tribe won't let a human invade them and on top of that we now have a blood feud with each other. The food came in at this time, and we started to eat. To my surprise, they liked the food a lot. Well, compared to medieval times, even all around my world, their food was not at the level of my time's food, so it's no wonder they would like this food in this world.
"You ladies will be escorted to my chambers. I have to plan with my general tonight, so get some rest, and I will take you tomorrow night as mine." I said, making the women blush and bow before being escorted out, and I returned to the TOC.
