In a small town on the western province of the Golden Raiju empire, there stood an old building with it white paint or what used to be white paint, falling off. On the entrance was a sign of a knife and fork symbolising a restaurant.
The restaurant situated in the mid point between the slums and the commercial area was not packed with customers but there were still a few people inside. Two beautiful young looking women who appeared to be twins were running around in maid uniforms with bunny ears, taking peoples orders.
Behind the bar counter stood a handsome blond haired young man with disheveled hair, he appeared to be drunk with a bottle in his hand, his head resting resting on the counter.
The mood in this tiny restaurant seemed jovial with those few customers, laughing and teasing the two girls. The door was suddenly swung opened, in came a tall man in full plate armour.
Power was radiating off his body like heat in a desert, behind him came a young lady in noble blue attire, following her was a young man with a smile on his face, he seemed to be trying to impress the young lady.
The young noble mans face changed the instant he got inside, disgust visible on his face. His disgust softened a little bit when he laid his eyes on the twins, he looked at them with undisguised lust in his eyes.
They were followed by a bunch of guards, there were eleven in the group in total. They chose a table and sat down. The older of the twins Yamiko approached their table. Good morning customers, can I take your order?.
The noble man scoffed, what can a place a like this even offer us, there are so many better food establishments in our town, I don't understand why you chose this one lady Nobell.
The young lady turned her head and looked at him with a blank expression. What or where I choose to dine is no concern of yours sir Vulcar, I did not ask you to follow me, If you do not want to be here you can leave.
The guys face turned dark which Yamiko found a bit funny. No no no lady Nobell do not misunderstand me, accompanying you is my greatest pleasure, I just thought you would prefer a much...he wiped his finger on the table which came back with not a single speck of dust...cleaner environment.
Sir I can assure you our establishment takes hygiene very seriously. Said Yamiko in a flat tone. The guy grimaced, I don't recall ever addressing you servant. The restaurant drew quiet the instant he said that. The mood seemed to change.
The light inside the restaurant seemed to grow dimmer, the shadows moved and stretched. The area around the noble man grew hotter, everybody became tense except the younger twin, the guy at the bar, the giant man in armour as well as the noble lady.
Yet before anything could happen, an intent that seemed to contain every weapon blew through the restaurant, a door besides the bar opened, a young man with average looks came out, worn out and disheveled hair.
Dark circles around his eyes as if he had not slept in days. Quiet down please, I'm trying to sleep, the mana in the room seemed to calm down with his words, the phenomenons from the two facing each other ceased as if they were never there.
For the first time a new expression appeared on the noble lady face, she had a small surprised look on her face for an instant and was back to her blank face. The giant man looked a bit tense.
Hoi boss, said the drunk bar tender. Luke you shouldn't be drinking at work, replied the newly appeared boss before he went inside the door. So now can I take your order? The giant man ordered an entire turkey. The annoying guy ordered a lot of food as if to display his wealth.
Yamiko turned to the lady, and for you?, she asked. I will have fried egg rice and the invigorating sap, she said. She gave Yamiko her menu with a black coin in it. Yamiko took it with a smile and left.
Why isn't that on my menu? asked the annoying guy, Vulture or something. She just turned and looked at him, I don't know what you are taking about.She said before continuing to the door behind the bar counter.

Today wasn't a great day for Vulcar, he who is a son of a master level expert and had reached acolyte realm himself at the age of 27. He had never had to suck up to anyone. Although a master isn't considered impressive in the empire, here in the western province it is still a considerable power. His father had been the ruler of this small town for over a hundred and fifty years.
However today he had to suck up to a little girl younger than him simply because she is from a Grandmaster level family. Even though there are rumours that she had reached the master realm, he does not believe them, how can somebody who is not even 23 years old have reached the master realm.
There are also rumours that her grandfather who is at the Grandmaster realm and the reason her family is a Grandmaster level family is dying. Some say he was poisoned while fighting a powerful beast, some say there was a mistake while he was trying to breakthrough to the next realm.
The real reason doesn't matter though, the fact is he is dying and without him, his family status will fall to the master realm. Vulcar doesn't understand why they must be so servile to a family that is about to have the same status as theirs but knows better than to question his father.
When the girl in question arrived, he was mesmerized, she was an ice beauty, gorgeous with a cold face, aloof and arrogant as you would expect a noble lady. He offered to show her around the town and had the intention to show off a little.
