Chapter 7 - The Celestial Invitation

The heavens shimmered unnaturally above Frostreach as Auron stood atop the crystalline balcony of Nyvarra's highest spire. The stars pulsed like living veins of mana, whispering across space and time. A cold wind curled through the tower, but it no longer held bite — not since Isilyn, the Icebound Queen, knelt to him.

Tonight, the world changed again.

Behind him, Isilyn approached in ceremonial silks. Her crown was gone, replaced by the faint silver gleam of the Crest of Frostbound Submission etched proudly at her collarbone. Her once-frozen expression was softer now, flushed and glowing from more than just surrender.

"The stars are wrong tonight," she murmured. "Something stirs in the aether."

Auron didn't respond immediately. He was watching the sky, his golden eyes locked onto a single anomaly: a rift, blooming open like a flower of light, bleeding golden energy into the world.

High Above the Mortal Plane – The Celestial Domain

Far above the physical world, where the gods schemed and angels soared, the Thrones of Judgment stirred in turmoil. The divine balance had been broken. Realms conquered. Fates rewritten. Mortal boundaries shattered.

Auron Valarion — the name echoed in celestial halls like a prophecy denied.

Lady Aurielle, Emissary of the Celestial Pantheon, watched the mortal realm through the Astral Mirror. Her wings of opalescent flame shimmered with anxiety and wrath. The Council of Light demanded intervention.

"He claims queens and goddesses like trophies. His power defies divine law," one deity growled.

"He's ascending too quickly," another whispered. "He must be tested."

Aurielle stood. "Then I shall descend."

The hall trembled.

Back in Nyvarra – The Invitation Arrives

The rift opened fully, revealing a woman bathed in celestial brilliance. Wings of light. Armor forged from divine song. Hair like woven sunlight.

She descended slowly, the very air singing around her. Mortals who looked upon her dropped to their knees. Even Auron's harem instinctively stepped back.

But Auron stood still.

"Who dares interrupt my conquest?" he asked.

The angel landed, her feet not touching the ground. Her voice carried both kindness and unshakable judgment.

"I am Aurielle, Herald of the High Pantheon. You are summoned."

Auron's eyes narrowed. "Summoned?"

"To the Celestial Crucible. To prove your right to defy heaven."

He smirked. "Let them try."

Before she could respond, Auron stepped forward, closing the gap between them, his aura like a growing inferno.

"You come with wings and holiness," he said darkly. "But I see you. You're curious. Afraid. Intrigued."

Aurielle flinched as his presence pressed against her divine shell. "This trial is mandatory—"

"I accept," Auron cut in, his voice final. "But I choose the terms."

The rift flared again, reacting to his will.

The Celestial Crucible – A World Beyond

Moments later, Auron and a chosen part of his harem — Seraphine, Isilyn, and Azhara — stood on floating platforms drifting through a void of stardust and thunder.

Before them rose a golden citadel bathed in aurora light. At its gates stood champions of the gods — titanic warriors, celestial mages, and spirits bound by divine oath.

Aurielle hovered above them, gaze unreadable. "Defeat the Crucible's trials, and the gods will accept your ascension. Fail… and be unmade."

Auron smiled. "Let's burn the heavens."
