Alren Bushy trudged through the crowded streets, a sea of suits and briefcases surrounding him. Another Monday morning, another day of monotony. He worked as a salaryman in a large corporation, stuck in a never-ending cycle of meetings and paperwork.
The smell of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the office air, a familiar comfort in an otherwise dull environment. Alren's eyes glazed over as he stared at his computer screen, the numbers and charts blurring together.
His life was predictable, a routine that suffocated him. Alren longed for excitement, for adventure, but it seemed like a distant dream. He was just a cog in a machine, a replaceable part.
As he walked home, the city's sounds and smells overwhelmed him. Alren felt like he was drowning in the sea of humanity, just another face in the crowd.
