The town is lively—farmers' market tents, music playing, kids running around happily. Elara walks stiffly beside Rae as they walk into a store, she wears borrowed jeans and a flannel shirt over her armor's underlayer,Nyra trots behind them, ignored by everyone else, but very much calculating every step
ELARA:These trousers... are an insult to freedom.
RAE (grinning):Welcome to modern fashion. You'll get used to the suffering.
Elara smarks as the walked onto the store she marvels at everything cotton candy, speakers, sunglasses, chocolate. Rae tries to act casual, clearly nervous about someone recognizing her. She tries to calm elara down but she was hyper
Thinking of what to do to calm elara because Rae clearly doesn't like that every one's attention a little on elera so she picked up a Rose flower and handed it to her
"For the lady who looks like she could slay dragons"...
Elara blinks. She accepts the flower with a flower held it to her nose and inhales
ELARA:I... thank you? Is this an Earth mating ritual?
Rae chokes on her drink nearby. Elara looks at Rae innocently.
ELARA:Did I offend you
RAE :No. You , she said with a little smile
Trying to make her to not feel uncomfortable
Nyra, watching, flicks her tail smugly.
---
*Rae wanders away, needing air. Her chest feels tight she felt a little confused, a little jealous and annoyed
But why do I angry, what's making me feel jealous she asked herself
Suddenly she heard a loud SHOUT and it was Elara's voice.
ELARA :Let me go!
Three rough-looking men try to pull Elara toward a van. One yanks her gold necklace off her neck.
MAN 1:Pretty little thing like you shouldn't flash gold in public—
She held his hand and gave him a blow in his stomach and he bent to hold the stomach
Her heavy iron boot landed on his head lifting him off the ground
MAN 2: looking 6ft all all muscled up
Laughing walks towards her in-between laugh he says," hmm so a fighter yeah?"
Like the spirit
He swings his hands but she douch
Moving swiftly behind him
Kicking his back
A moved a little forward
The first man was already getting up
She moved closer to him
Swing a blow at him
As she tries to Swing in the second blow
He held her hand and hand caught the second hand
She looked at him and gave him a head boot
Aww he yails but didn't let go of her hands
He folded her hands and made her back face him
MAN 1 already on his feet luched a blow in her stomach, she screamed arghh
Rae sprints toward the sound, with eyes wide and glowing faintly, wind swirling up. As Her hands twitch and—
BOOM— the air shatters like thunder. The necklace flies back into her hand. The men are thrown across the alley as if by a hurricane.
Elara held her stomach with one hand and went up to Rae, panting as her magic was Still pulsing and spaking like a live wire
ELARA (softly):Rae...
RAE:I didn't mean to—I just—
ELARA:held up her face in her hands You protected me.
RAE (looking down): I was out of control I could have hurt you,
But u didn't they gave each other a long hug which felt like forever

FARM FIELD – NIGHT
Elara and Rae sit in the grass under the stars. The flower from earlier lies between them. Silence, warm and heavy.
ELARA:When I saw you... After I first crossed the veil... I felt like I already knew your name.
RAE:That's probably fate being extra dramatic.
They both laugh. Then Elara turns, sincere.
ELARA:I don't want fate. I want... you.
Rae's breath catches. A long, beautiful pause. Then— she says
That sounds like a lot for someone wearing my brother's jeans.
ELARA (teasing):Buy You like me in these jeans. Admit it.
They both smile So
Rae stands barefoot in the grass as Elara watches her. Nyra prowls nearby, tail twitching.
ELARA:Feel the ground. Let it hear your heartbeat.
RAE:I'm trying. But all I feel is anxious and a little hungry.
ELARA (smiling):Magic doesn't work on an empty stomach. But it does listen to emotion.
Rae closes her eyes and took a deep breath The breeze lifts. A few loose petals nearby flew into the air. A burst of energy ripples from her, pushing the grass flat in a wide circle.
Rae gasps, stumbling back and Elara catches her instinctively.
RAE (shaky):Did I do that? She asked a little nervous
ELARA:You did. That was you.
They're close—still holding each other. Elara's eyes flick to Rae's lips. Rae swallows. Nyra meows pointedly.
They both laugh, blushing as the looked down breaking the moment.
---
FOREST NEAR THE VEIL – SAME TIME
A figure cloaked in smoke steps through the trees. Shadows cling unnaturally to their form. They kneel before a pool of black water.
A voice hisses from within.
DARK SPIRIT (V.O.):The priest's child is awakening. The heir seeks her.
Then... we end them both.
---
RAE'S BARN – LATE AFTERNOON
Elara swings a wooden staff; Rae dodges and rolls, laughing breathlessly.
RAE: are You trying to bruise me into greatness?
ELARA (grinning):A little bruising builds character.
They spar—light, playful—but Rae accidentally flings Elara's staff into the rafters with a gust of wind.
Both burst into laughter.
They sit at the kitchen table, Rae's hand resting lightly over Elara's. The mood is soft.
RAE:Do you think... if the veil hadn't broken, we'd still have found each other?
ELARA (whispers):Yes. Because I feel I was always supposed to.
Then suddenly—
NYRA (serious):Something's coming.
The lights flicker. Outside, the wind also dies. Too still. Too quiet.
ELARA (rising):We're not alone anymore.
– NIGHT
Storm clouds gather without thunder. The air feels wrong. Trees sway but there's no wind. And Nyra's fur stands on end.
NYRA (low growl):It's here.
Rae rushes outside, barefoot in the grass, Elara right behind her, sword drawn.
RAE: l feel it. It's like... the air's watching me.
ELARA (tense):Not the air. Something inside it. She held her sword with both hands
As they walked side by side trying to figure out what happening
---
A figure cloaked in shadow stands among the crops. As Rae and Elara approach, its eyes glows silver.
DARK FIGURE:Daughter of wind your blood wakes the old balance.
RAE:And Who are you?
DARK FIGURE (voice echoing);A reminder. That power never comes without a price.
—shadows stretch and leap toward Rae like serpents. Elara steps in front, blade glowing faintly with her homeland's magic.
ELARA:You'll have to go through me.
DARK FIGURE (smirking):Gladly.
A BATTLE ERUPTS—magic vs blade, Rae overwhelmed with emotions let out a loud screams—and the wind explodes outward, breaking the spell for a split second.
Elara gets knocked down hard. Rae rushes to her, cradling her head, heart pounding.
RAE (desperate);Don't you dare be hurt, you stubborn royal idiot.
NYRA (hovering):Rae—focus! Feel what you feel and Use it.
Rae looks up, her eyes glowing. The air began swirling and The ground trembles like and earthquake was about to erupt and The shadows begin to recede.
RAE (softly): You don't scare me. Not in this life time
She raises her hands—wind howls like a hurricane, blasting the figure backward. It screeches, unraveling into smoke—but not before it hisses:
DARK FIGURE (V.O.):You're not ready, Rae. And next time, next time no one will save you.
---
FIELD – MINUTES LATER
The storm fades off. Elara stirs,Rae helps her sit up.
RAE: Are You okay?
ELARA (smiling faintly):Did I win?
RAE (choked laugh): Yes We both did.
Their hands meet. Rae doesn't pull away.
ELARA (softly):You were incredible.
RAE: no! Shaking her head I was terrified.
ELARA (brushing hair from Rae's face):That's what makes you strong.
They lean in—so close their lips meet Rae slowly shoved her lips with her tongue
Her lips feels so magnetic she thought to herself
They kissed so passionate and it was full of all their unspoken words___
INT. RAE'S CABIN – EARLY MORNING
The fire has long gone out. Dawn spills through the window. Rae and Elara lie curled on opposite ends of the couch—Elara's head was on Rae's shoulder as Rae's hand loosely entwined in hers.
Nyra watches them from a high shelf with a slow blink.
NYRA (softly):So... this is what calm looks like. Weird.
---
FARM PORCH – LATER
Rae stands watching the horizon with a coffee in hand she was all up in her head trying to get a grip of her new life . Elara steps beside her, draped in Rae's oversized hoodie, her sword leaning against the railing.
RAE:I didn't think you'd still be here.
ELARA (teasing):I just kissed a wind sorceress who blew apart a demon. Leaving would be rude.Rae laughs, then quiets.
RAE :What happened last night... it felt like more than magic.
ELARA: It was.her face shifts to guilt Rae... there's something I haven't told you.
She motioned with her hands for them to have a sit
They sit across from each other. Tension sets in . Nyra pretends to nap but his ears was twitching.
ELARA:My kingdom is at war —the war, the priest's death—it wasn't all random. Someone broke the seal holding the darkness back.
RAE:Okay...
ELARA:And I think I know who did it. My mother.
Rae blinks, stunned.
RAE:The queen?
ELARA:She made a deal. A blood-bound bargain to protect her throne... and it cursed our land instead. I wasn't just sent to find you. I ran.
Rae's emotions twist—fear, betrayal and empathy.
RAE:So... you lied?
ELARA (quietly):No. I didn't tell you everything. I was scared. I still am.
RAE: Of me?
ELARA: No ,Of losing you. Because if I'm wrong—I've already lost everything else.
Silence. Then Rae crosses to her, kneels in front of her, and takes her hands.
RAE:You're not wrong. And you're not alone anymore.
---
LATER THAT DAY
Nyra leads them toward a spot Rae's never gone. The wind hums strangely.
NYRA:Your father left a memory here. A spark of what's to come.
Rae touches the old stone wall and her hand glows with Magic pulses. A vision opens it was brief and fractured.
*She saw A battle, The Queen screaming. Rae looks a little older—with a glow radiant with wind and fire.
RAE (V.O.):That's... me?
NYRA:Not yet. But soon.
