The young man started walking towards the river. Aparna stood abruptly and went behind him and held on to wrist tightly. Young man looked at her as if he was asking what she was doing ,looking at her and his wrist confused. Aparna asked'' where do you think you are going?'' with a hint of fear in her throat. He gestured her by rubbing his face indicating that he will be washing his face. Aparna took a breath of relief ''don't just go like that after deeply looking into the river. I thought....''she couldn't tell the remaining words puffing her cheeks in dissatisfaction. She still held onto his wrist. He shook his wrist asking her to release that hand. She immediately released her hand and let out an awkward chuckle. The young man went into the river at a shallow area, washed his face, hands and feet later he walked in the direction they'd come. Aparna just followed him. She kept thinking that she didn't hear his voice, and when he apologized, he kept mumbling . And when his mother introduced Krishna and her to him he just nodded not even looking at them let alone a greeting. Even at the shop he kept his mouth closed and stood there. Uncle Venkanna had understood everything.
She couldn't even guess what was happening in the head of the young man.

He got up as usual and cleansed himself and took the baskets and set out to field. He felt something rushing towards him but kept walking forward without stopping. Slowly sound of foot steps faded and immediately loud steps followed him which slowed down as the footsteps walked beside him. He didn't understand what was happening. A lady ? Why she's walking beside me? Suddenly thoughts dispersed as he heard her calling his name. He remembered this lady was from last time who kept calling him and tagged along even after ignoring her. He again chose to ignore her. Once... twice... four times, he didn't even flinch once. He thought if he ignored her she will leave him alone, but he was wrong. He still saw her beside him not a step back or front, right beside him. As they reached the field,he decided to make her leave, so he purposefully lead the into narrow spaces. He was accustomed to those spaces as he was doing that since his childhood. He still felt her coming behind him. He moved a little faster.''wait a minute. I can't catch up. Lead to a wider space so that we can pass freely'' he heard her pleading voice. Still ignored her and stopped at a wider area to work. He took a quick glance at her before she can see him. He thought of their pups who would just roll in the mud and dirty themselves. He kept working, working feeling the pressure from her intense looks. He felt her moving to the other side and got scared as hell as she came in front of him so suddenly but regained his composure immediately and continued to work. She kept repeating the same for five times, he ignored her again and she just worked with her disappointed face. After he completed filling his baskets, he took them onto his shoulders and left to the normal exit route. He was worried she might trip on herself and waste the flowers. As expected she followed him to his home , to the kitchen, drank with him, and as he was about to leave the house he saw her trying to sit, but immediately got up and followed him. He kept observing her different behaviors as she greeted almost everyone on their way. He reached Venkanna's shop. Venkanna told his order of flowers and as he was about give him the money, a voice came from behind. They chatted and venkanna did not give him money till he completed his chatting with her. He saw her looking around the stall so he counted the money slowly. As soon as she took the jasmine, he walked away towards river. He was really curious about her. To what extent does she intend to follow him? He walked towards spacious rock and spread his towel before sitting on it. She sat beside him. He saw her covering her head and difficulty in sitting under midday sun. He immediately got up and walked towards river to wash his face and leave. As he walked towards the river,he felt a hand on his wrist which made him halt. He thought what was she doing by holding his hand like that. Then he heard ''where do you think you are going?'' He was definitely shocked by those words. He just rubbed his face with the other hand. He saw the relaxed expression on face and she continued ''don't just go like that after deeply looking into the river. I thought....' and stopped that in middle but he could guess what those were like if he were going to die himself by drowning. He internally thought 'what is she??' He tried to move forward but she literally held on to his wrist so he shaked his wrist and she immediately took her hand off and went to wash his face. And they returned to his home.
.....after talking with grandma and prabhavathi for a while, she reached her home filling her entire mind with the young man.
Back story..
Surappa introduced his acquaintances to the young man and told them that the young man wouldn't talk much,and he will be coming in his stead, so just like that venkanna told the him his requirements about the flowers and gave the money for the previous ones.
