"You tell me?"
Nobuhiko pointed to the seat across from him, gesturing for Riku to sit. Only then did he speak with curiosity, "Go ahead—how exactly did you pull this off?"
"I didn't expect much from your plan to become Tsunade's student. Honestly, I thought it was impossible. Yet somehow, you actually made it happen. It's unbelievable."
For safety's sake, Nobuhiko hadn't deactivated the isolation barrier around the courtyard all day. He even raised another layer of barrier right there in the living room.
He was worried that someone might be eavesdropping on the upcoming conversation.
"I didn't really do anything."
Riku chuckled and shook his head. "I just played the part of a die-hard fanboy during the opening ceremony, showing nothing but admiration and passion for the Will of Fire and the Third Hokage—"
"Combined with the 'genius' persona you guys helped me build and my special status—"
"It made the Third Hokage take great interest in me."
"For the past month or so, he's actually been watching my every move, every word and action."
"He even sent ANBU to follow and secretly observe me."
"All to verify whether I was truly his admirer, someone who genuinely believed in the Will of Fire."
"And now, with Tsunade personally coming to take me as her disciple, that means the plan worked!"
"My act completely fooled the Third Hokage."
"He now sees me as a promising seed—likely someone he can use to influence and control the Uchiha in the future."
"So really, this outcome shouldn't be surprising at all."
Of course, if it weren't for the miracle brought by those 20 wish uses, things would never have gone this smoothly.
In fact, failure would have been highly likely.
But those details were secrets he would never share—not even with his parents.
"Hsssh... so from beginning to end, this was all part of your plan? You've had the Third dancing in the palm of your hand?"
Both Nobuhiko and Kokomi couldn't help but gasp, exchanging glances of disbelief.
Suddenly, their own son was starting to feel... dangerously cunning.
"More or less."
Riku nodded matter-of-factly. "You already know my mental strength is exceptional—my sensing range has reached a radius of 500 meters. I can perceive all sorts of things!"
"Oh, and speaking of that—I recently created a method for Sharingan awakening and a meditation method for developing the three-tomoe Sharingan."
"The first helps unlock our bloodline without emotional trauma—it allows peaceful awakening through training, avoiding the usual mental instability."
"The second method digs deeper into our Uchiha heritage, strengthening our mental power and dōjutsu potential. It allows the Sharingan to evolve smoothly from one to three tomoe and prepares the ground for Mangekyō Sharingan."
"I've tested both for a while. They're solid. You two can start practicing them now!"
As he spoke, Riku pointed a finger toward his parents. His spiritual power sent the two training methods directly into their minds.
A flood of information suddenly surged into their consciousness, forcing them to close their eyes and process it.
A few minutes later—
"Hsssh!"
The two opened their eyes almost in unison, gasping again, now staring at Riku in pure shock. "This is all real? You actually created something this terrifying? What can't you do!?"
Riku just smiled and shrugged. "I owe it all to you, Dad, for giving me access to the clan vault—and to you, Mom, for teaching me medical ninjutsu and iryōjutsu so earnestly."
"All of that played a huge role in helping me come up with these techniques."
It wasn't entirely false. Without the Uchiha clan's archive of information on the Sharingan and human anatomy, even with his cheat ability, the number of wish uses needed to create these techniques would've been far too high.
It was mutual accomplishment, really.
"You brat, come off it. I know exactly how much value is in that clan vault."
"It's all because your comprehension is monstrously abnormal!"
Nobuhiko shook his head with a sigh, clearly impressed.
I really did raise a monster of a son...
"By the way, when's big bro coming back? I want to pass this three-tomoe Sharingan method to him too."
Riku changed the subject to avoid dwelling on that topic.
"Probably a few more days."
Nobuhiko nodded, his eyes soft as he looked at Riku. "You're actually quite good to your brother, huh? Doesn't match the way you two bicker all the time."
Riku casually shrugged. "We're still brothers. It's normal to mess with each other a bit, but when it comes to important matters, I won't be unreasonable."
"Mhm."
Nobuhiko and Kokomi smiled knowingly.
This was nice.
"When your brother returns, you can give it to him personally."
Then Nobuhiko's expression turned serious. "But for now, I don't recommend passing these techniques to anyone else outside our household."
"The time isn't right. Once I finish consolidating the clan and clearing out problematic elements, we'll consider spreading it."
"For now, your safety comes first."
Even if this delay slowed the clan's rise, Nobuhiko preferred that over risking Riku's safety.
He'd rather crush any potential danger before it even surfaced.
"The Sharingan awakening method especially—"
"Its significance is even greater than the three-tomoe method."
"It must not be discovered by anyone else for the time being—especially not by the village."
"Otherwise, who knows how the Third and the others might retaliate."
An Uchiha clan where anyone could awaken the Sharingan through peaceful training, steadily reaching three tomoe—
That wasn't a future the Third would ever allow.
Because it meant every Uchiha would have the potential to reach jōnin level.
Even if Riku never managed to develop a training method for the Mangekyō Sharingan, the sheer number of three-tomoe users would rise dramatically.
And those same people, through trauma or sheer drive, would have a higher chance of awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan.
And once that happened, they'd be kage-level.
With the added power of dōjutsu and Susanoo, they'd be monsters—even among kage.
Terrifying.
"Mhm."
Riku nodded in agreement. "That was my thought as well."
"But I didn't want to hide it from you."
"First, because I trust you."
"Second—if I didn't share this with you, it'd be harder for you to cooperate with my future plans to reform not just the Uchiha, but Konoha—and maybe even the entire shinobi world."
He was still too young to get involved in internal clan reform.
That was something his father had to handle.
So naturally, it was time to lay everything on the table.
As long as it didn't involve the Wish Talent, he didn't really mind.
"So this is what you were planning all along?"
Nobuhiko smiled knowingly.
His son was willing to trust him unconditionally. What more could a father ask for?
"You're using your old man as a tool for your reforms, huh? Hahaha!"
He laughed in jest.
Riku glanced at his father with a smirk. "Well? Are you willing?"
"Of course I am! I'd love to do this kind of thing—bring it on!"
Nobuhiko grinned proudly.
After all, this was his son.
