Twelve months. That's how long it's been since I got reincarnated into this world.
Turns out, my name in this life is still Lucas. Lucas Whitlock. Yeah, I don't get it either. What are the odds, right? Same first name, different last name. Back on Earth, I was Lucas Harper. I didn't think too hard about it though. Maybe it's a weird reincarnation quirk or some cosmic joke. Who knows?
Anyway, I also found out I'm the first and only child of the Whitlock family. A noble family, apparently. We've been nobles for generations, ever since our ancestors helped found this country—Draventha. Big deal stuff.
But honestly, what mattered to me the most was my family. I was born into a home full of love and care. They were always holding me, talking to me, playing with me. It was warm. Real warm.
Oh, and yeah—I haven't said much about my dad. Honestly he's pretty cool. Kind and strong. He has the same snow-white hair as my mom, but his eyes are blue. Manages our territory, so he's usually busy, but he still makes time for us. For me.
One thing I really didn't see coming though? We're dragons. Yeah, Dragons.
I found that out one day when both of them transformed—partially—just to make me laugh. Mom sprouted some silver scales, eyes glowing and all that. Dad got claws and wings for a second. And they did it like it was normal.
I was stunned. I mean, I thought I was reborn as a regular human baby. But nope. Full-blooded dragon, baby. I almost cried from relief and excitement. Like, let's gooo—I get to be OP in this life after all!
Aldoria has got a bunch of different continents, each run by different races:
Dragon Continent: Home to dragons, half-dragons, wyverns, and all those cool scaly types.
Elven Continent: It was the home to the Elfs—forest elves, moon elves, high elves, water elves, you name it.
Demon Continent: vampires, zombies, and all the spooky types.
Beastmen Continent: demi-humans like catfolk, werewolves, lionkin—basically your furry fantasy squad.
Human Continent: regular humans, dwarves, witches.
Merfolk Continent: mostly water, full of mermaids and sea monsters.
Yeah, I'm still a baby and somehow remembering all this. Guess my past life memories really didn't go anywhere.
What's wild is that Aldoria isn't just stuck in medieval times. Nah—it's got tech. Cars, skyscrapers, phones, even planes. But they didn't ditch their magic and old traditions. It's like fantasy met sci-fi and decided to be best friends. Ancient temples with smart locks, floating carriages, magical elevators—you get the idea.
Anyway, back to the important stuff.
I was currently living my best life—curled up in my mom's arms, drinking her divine milk. I'm not even ashamed to say it: this milk was god-tier. Sweet, warm, and comforting. After everything I'd been through, it was the only thing that kept me sane most days.
As I was enjoying the milk, I called out to the system.
"Status," I said mentally.
The blue translucent screen appeared in front of me.

"Damn," I muttered in my head. "Still weak as hell."
But hey, at least my cuteness and luck were off the charts. That had to count for something. With a charisma stat like that, I'm probably gonna be a ladykiller when I grow up. Or a guy-killer. Whatever. I'll take it.
By the time I finished my milk drinking session, the maids were already preparing my bath. I saw them using some magic tech to heat the water. Runes lit up under the tub as steam started to rise.
This world really is something else.
One of the maids came over and gently lifted me from my mom's arms, wrapping me in a soft towel. I was still full from my meal, and the warmth from her hands made me yawn. I peeked up at my mom, who was smiling down at me like I was her whole world.
And you know what? That felt nice.
As the maids carried me off for my bath, I thought to myself...
Maybe this second life won't be so bad after all.
The only thing bothering me was why did hell was i out of all people chosen to reincarnate into this world.
But then again i'm not the type to think about stuff like that, i'll just figure it out later
