The drive home had been a blur of Esmery's drunken advances, her hands roaming over his body, her lips tracing kisses along his jawline. She had ground against him, her moans filling the car as she whispered dirty secrets in his ear.

Jayden's eyes had flashed with surprise, but he had maintained his composure, gently prying her hands away from his crotch. But Esmery was relentless, her fingers tracing the outline of his erection through his pants. She stroked him, her touch sending shivers down his spine. Jayden's moan was low and husky, his eyes closing in pleasure.

"Esmery, stop," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

But Esmery just giggled, her hands continuing their exploration. Jayden's eyes snapped open, his gaze burning with intensity. He knew he had to stop her before things went too far.

With a Herculean effort, Jayden pried Esmery's hands away and held them captive. Esmery pouted, her eyes sparkling with mischief. She fell asleep soon after, exhausted from her drunken escapades.

Jayden knocked on the door, and a kindly nanny answered, her eyes widening in surprise. "Hello, auntie," Jayden said, smiling politely. "I'm here to drop Esmery off."

The nanny's expression softened. "Oh, hello. Please, come in."

Jayden declined, his eyes glinting in the moonlight. "I'm afraid I have somewhere to be. Just make sure Esmery arrives at 11:30 AM tomorrow, please."

With that, he turned and walked away, leaving the nanny to wonder about the mysterious stranger who had brought Esmery home safely. Little did she know, Esmery had left a lasting impression on Jayden, one that would linger long after their encounter.

Esmery woke up to the warmth of the morning sun peeking through her window. She stretched, feeling a throbbing pain in her head. Suddenly, panic set in. "Oh God, I feel like a truck ran over my head!" she exclaimed, her hands clutching her temples.

Mia, her loving nanny, heard Esmery's distress call and rushed to her side. "Good morning, dear. I think you're just experiencing a hangover. You did drink quite a bit last night," Mia said with a gentle smile.

Esmery's eyes widened as memories of the previous night began to flood back. She recalled attending a party, congratulating Diego and Astrid on their engagement, and... and meeting a mysterious stranger.

Mia helped Esmery sit up and handed her a glass of water and some aspirin. "Here, take these. You'll feel better soon."

Esmery's gaze locked onto Mia's, her eyes filled with anxiety. "Nanny, please tell me I didn't agree to marry a stranger!" she begged, her voice trembling.

Mia's expression turned calm and reassuring. "Esmery, trust your instincts. You're a smart and capable woman. If you feel like this man will protect you, then maybe you should give him a chance."

Esmery's face scrunched up in uncertainty. What had she gotten herself into?

Mia gently coaxed Esmery out of bed. "Come on, dear. Get dressed. We need to get you to the Marriage Affairs Bureau."

Esmery's eyes widened in alarm. "Nanny, what's going on? I don't remember agreeing to get married!"

Mia's smile was warm and encouraging. "Don't worry, Esmery. We'll figure everything out. Just trust me, okay?"
