Aeries Greythorne found herself in another alleyway. This one was much cleaner than the last one. She walked towards the somewhat quiet street and peaked out from the corner. There was a corner store with racks of clothes out front. She sighed and snuck towards a rack. She grabbed a black shirt, and a pair of black ripped jeans. She went back to the alley and changed quickly.
She took her cloak and warm clothes and threw them into a green box with a black lid. She tucked her sword into her shirt, using a belt from her old clothes to secure it to herself. She glamoured the sword to be invisible to the human eye.
Aeries peaked around the corner of the ally and walked onto the street and tried to blend in.
Luckily, she did blend in.
The humans gave one look at her and did not look again.
Her hair was half up, hiding her pointed ears efficiently. She put her hands in her pockets and sighed. She looked around at the tall, sparkly buildings. They kind of reminded her of her realm. And she hated that.
She continued to stare at the buildings, and something swung in between them. This piqued her interest.
"Hey look! It's Spider-Man!" Someone shouted. She stifled a growl. Looks like she wasn't the only one with magic or powers of some sort.
She sighed and watched as this man of spiders swung into an alley. She smiled and disappeared from the street. She ran with her Fae speed towards that same alley and growled loudly as she entered it. The Spider-Man was taking off his mask when she cornered him.
"How do you have powers, Man of Spiders?" She growled. Spider-Man froze when she spoke, his eyes wide with fear.
"How did you find me?" His voice wavered. From what she could tell, he was no older than 16.
"Kid, I have no patience. Tell me how you have powers." She growled again, drawing her sword, it sparkled into existence.
Man-Spider touched a button on his wrist and seemed to relax a little. How odd.
"I- I was bit by a mutated spider, ma'am." He choked out. She stalked closer to him, and he backed away.
"Show me, pest." She grabbed his shirt, pulling him closer with a lethal grip. His eyes widened and he made a sign with his hand. A web shot from his wrist and landed on the wall with a disgusting slap. She shuddered.
"Stop it right there!" She growled at the man spider. She whirled to find someone fully clad in red and gold armor. She snarled and punched the man spider square in the nose.
"You pest!!" She flung out her hands, and fire erupted from her palm. She flung it towards the man of iron and growled. She continued to do this, fire spewing into the street. Screams of terror erupted from the street, this only sparked her anger more.
She didn't notice the man spider come up behind her. She didn't notice his bloodied face. She didn't notice his hand raised as he struck her in the back of the head.
She growled as her fire sputtered and went out as she fell to the ground. Her eyes started to close, but she gasped and growled, trying to stay awake.
The blackness in her vision crept closer. It was inevitable, it seems.
"What should we do with her, Mr. Stark?" Man-spiders voice. She growled again, but she didn't hear man of irons response.
Everything went black.
