The universe was wrapped in silence. No sound of creation, no roar of destruction. Yet within that stillness, one being sat deep in meditation. The Ganga flowed through his matted hair, his trident shimmered with divine energy. He was Shiva—the God of Destruction. The one who creates the rhythm of time through his dance, and ignites the flames of an era through his wrath. In that deep meditation, a sudden piercing light struck his thoughts. A question arose in his mind—"If I am the end of everything, then I am the ultimate one. Nothing can exist without me. Does that make me the greatest?"From that very question, unrest was born—an ego began to rise. The calm yogi's eyes now burned with fire. He awakened.Meanwhile, in Svarga (the heavenly realm), sensing a trace of imbalance, Vishnu sat silently on his lotus throne. He already knew where Shiva's thoughts were headed.Brahma, busy in creation, was breathing life into a new planet. Even he sensed that destruction was approaching.Shiva then appeared in the heart of heaven, radiating a storm of energy around him.He declared,"I proclaim—I am God. Today, I shall prove it to you all."Then Vishnu stood up. His eyes showed neither anger nor fear—only eternal patience."Shiva, you are mistaken. The three of us are complements to one another. You destroy, I preserve, Brahma creates. Without balance, nothing can survive."But Shiva was in no mood to listen. A vortex of battle formed. Shiva took on his Rudra form—four arms, blazing eyes, a storm of weapons. Everything fell silent. At that moment, Vishnu, seated on the lotus that grew from his navel, unveiled the curtain of the future. And what he saw shook existence itself—Shiva's destruction had left nothing behind. No one survived. Then, a fierce energy awakened in Vishnu's calm smile. In an instant, he took a form no one had ever seen before—The form of the Kalpurush—the eternal force of time. And with it, he changed the course of the future.Shiva… fell to the earth. Finally, Vishnu said,"Go, Shiva. Become human now. See how easy it is to destroy, and how difficult it is to preserve."
