Elijah hung up the phone, and within two minutes, the suite's door was opened. Upon seeing Liam's arrival, Elijah seemed to see a savior and hurriedly asked, "BOSS, what should we do now? If you hadn't asked me to bring Miss Spencer, she would have been in trouble today."
In fact, Hannah's little tricks were easily seen through by Liam. Initially, he wanted to ignore it and let Hannah make trouble, but at his dining table, everyone was mentioning Maya here and there, making him have to intervene.
When Liam approached the suite, Maya already had several scratches on her body. Seeing the scene before him, Liam immediately closed the door and returned to the living room.
Elijah watched Liam close the door quickly and cautiously suggested, "Should I call Young Master Reid over? He likes Miss Spencer quite a bit, and he will surely take responsibility for her."
"Can you make decisions for the Spencer family?"
"BOSS, I'm sorry!"
"You go back first, let her stay by herself."
Listening to Liam's orders, Elijah silently walked out, but the thought of Liam being ruthless enough to let Maya roll around on the bed all night broke him into a cold sweat. If they didn't intervene, Maya's body might be scratched beyond recognition.
But there was nothing more he could do, he could only leave things to fate.
After Elijah left, Liam paced around the living room before opening Maya's room door again.
Liam took a deep breath, walked into the room, and lowered the air conditioning temperature a few degrees, looking at the bed with an indescribable expression.
Just as he was about to leave Maya behind, Maya suddenly began to cry. No matter how much she scratched, it didn't relieve her anger, and when her small hand brushed her skin, a bloody mark appeared before Liam's eyes.
Looking at the large and small scratches on the girl, Liam stepped forward to the bed, bending down halfway, and his large hands clasped her wrists, saying, "If you keep scratching, you'll be ruined."
Maya couldn't hear his advice; she only knew she felt uncomfortable. From her head to her toes, her blood seemed to be crawling with ants, wriggling back and forth in her veins. No matter how she scratched, she couldn't suppress the discomfort.
"I feel so bad!" In a state of confusion, Maya heard someone talking to her, softly crying and complaining.
Liam frowned tightly, wondering if he should really call Henry over to give her the antidote?
He couldn't do such a thing; he couldn't stoop to such a shameful act, and his dislike for Hannah and her mother grew stronger. As a woman herself, she was too ruthless.
"Maya, endure it." Liam said, and then took off his tie, binding Maya's hands together and tying them to the bed, preventing her from scratching herself further.
However, being bound made Maya more uncomfortable, her sobbing growing louder and louder, making Liam extremely irritated.
Watching Maya squirm like a snake, Liam involuntarily reached out a big hand to wipe away her tears, reproaching, "Aren't you pretty tough, able to endure? Let's see how you handle this."
As soon as Liam's words fell, Maya unceremoniously bit his finger, refusing to let go, causing Liam to draw a sharp breath in pain.
He forcefully tried to pull his hand back, but she bit down harder, provoking his anger to the point he wished he could slap her, yet he didn't have the habit of hitting women, so he could only endure the pain while being bitten.
He said, "Maya, let go of me, or don't blame me for being unpleasant to you."
"Maya, I'm talking to you, did you hear me?"
The drugged-out Maya had no rationality at all, paying no heed to Liam's threats. He turned pale from the pain, and she still wouldn't release him.
