It wasn't really the prettiest way to go,but hey,nobody ever told him to go out for late night parties,especially that late. His the ringing sound in his own ears blocked out all the sirens from the outside,or the panicked screams of everyone that was around...well-around whatever just happened.
It hurt.
Like hell.
It was like he couldn't feel his limbs and body yet the pain was undoubtedly making him feel like he'd rather remain without any body part at all. Still,he desperately wanted to live. He didn't want to die.
He couldn't.
It was just one damn time,and his first,too. Why did it have to go so catastrophically wrong?!
He didn't have time to think about that,though. He was in a wreak that was crushed in between two trucks,crushing him and most of his bones in the process. His limbs had bent in unnatural angles and some of the shattered glass and metal from the inside had impaled him on close to all sides. Blood poured down from his mouth,and his vision was darkening on the edges.
It was getting colder,and his breathing was coming in laboured gasps.
His last thought before leaving was how sorry he was to his mom.

"Damn,not really the best way to go,isn't it?"
The guy's confusion was evident,but that's how it always was when a soul found its way into my domain. I'd dealt with countless ones before,so this one wasn't much a difference.
"So,kid. You found yourself here and now,whether you like it or not,you're landing in a new world. I won't ask if that's clear,'cause you'll obviously say it's not."
I'd learnt that from the first thousand that had found themselves here. Always asking for clarification on something that's just so obvious.
"So,what's the name of this 'world' anyway?" The kid asked.
"The world itself is named Evolthar. You'll find out the meaning to that name soon enough."
He stayed silent,thinking for a while. This one was calmer than the others,which was good. At least I didn't have to deal with someone who was panicking all the time.
"As you step into this new world,your biology will be changed completely and you shall gain a total mind reboot,to allow you to fully integrate yourself into your new life. Good luck,you'll need it."
I didn't really give him time to even react to the message. I just covered him in dark mist and warped him to the new world. When anything got warped into that world,a random selection of races would be chosen for the...'candidate',and a new set of elements as well. The memories would also be fully wiped,so they could 'immerse' themselves fully into their new lives.
Out of curiosity,I looked at the races that the kid ended up with,and I smirked internally.
The kid was fucked.
