On the road I learned a lot of things on e of those being that the brown haired one is called Rufus, the imposing one is charles and that they have a companion named Ian.
Charles is large, uniquely so for a human.Nearly as tall as the average male werewolf and as bulky as one, with each of his biceps the size of a watermelon.Like a moving stump with his green eyes and constant silence. Even with his quiet personality, you can tell he's a warrior by the multiple prizes of victory on him.He has so many scars that trail around him that it's more difficult to find a spot of soft flesh than to see spoils of battle.
Ian is a loud person who seems to worship some type of god of light. With his lean physique it's obvious that he's more of a speedy type of fighter than Charles. But do not relax yet,he more than makes up for it with his vigilance. He seems to constantly be alert and waiting for signs of trouble, always watching me for any signs of trouble with his piercing blue gaze. He's the one I need to account for in my escape plans as he's always armed with his longsword and never seems to tire and rest.
Now to the most lax amongst them Rufus. Rufus seems to be some kind of pervert who derives joy out of others pain.I learned this from the screams that echo from his carriage at night and the overwhelming scent of blood he carries with him. He calls a different female werewolf nightly and cries always echo from inside. I can tell he doesn't mate with them, because no pheromones are released from the females and there are no grunts or groans. The edge that Rufus has over the others other than his overwhelming speed is the poison he carries with him in a sach, this isn't the only problem as he seems to be developing a toxin using werewolves as the main ingredient.Rufus is a short man of diminutive stature that seem to hide under his clothes as a method to deceive his enemies and imply weakness.
I haven't been wasting my time though, the reason I learned all of this was to plan my escape route but these monsters never gave me enough time to enact any of my plans. They periodically monitor me and switch regularly. I also took bits and pieces of the gibberish they blabbered on and made it an imperative goal to lunderstand their language.
My plan have been further thwarted by the fact that they monthly visit "towns" and sell my brethren. I don't care emotionally care about the werewolves they sell but I do care about the fact that the more that are sold the lower my chances of escape become.
Im acutely aware of the reason they leave me untouched and give me better treatment. I determined this by the reaction of the humans we passes on the way to what they call the capital. I'm much more valuable to this people because of my silver eyes and so they don't wish to destroy or damage me because they want to maximize the profit they can get for me.
As we approached the gleaming walls I felt something inside me shudder,my very instincts themselves were warning me that if I entered that monstrosity-I would never exit it again .
What could get me out this situation?
My brethren? No, all dead or sold!
My value? No, it's the reason they brought me here.
My strength? No I have none to speak of in comparison to these demons in human flesh!
And so I was ushered into the death trap with my head low and tail to the ground.
Rufus strutted towards the guards"hey I would appreciate it if you let us enter fast,we have a rare new product for the nobles and I wouldn't want you to get on their bad sides."
The guard then called a knight in full white armor"Proof? If your product is truly something rare I'll direct you straight to the Noble district. If not your head will be served on a platter."
Rufus wiped off imaginary sweat" hey we're all friends here no need to go straight at my jugular, but let's go."
The knight and Rufus went straight towards me and when I looked at him I could feel it,me and him aren't even in the same category of living.
he would be able to kill me before I blinked and counted to 1.
Rufus walked up to me and grabbed my jaw
"Hey shiny eyes look up." As he forcefully elevated my face and made me look the knight in the eyes
"Truly a unique breed hey, never seen a werewolf like this before. So does this qualify us to enter the Noble district?"
The knight turned around"Follow me."
I was soon brought to a street were the stone seemed to shimmer and sunliht bounced off the floor.
"I will inform all those interested in your little mutt.i advise you to wait here here for an hour before you start the biding."
"Thank you Mr Gerard."said Ian while stepping out of the cart
"You're welcome little priest."
Exactly an hour later I was surrounded displayed on a stool in front of a congregation of ;fat, bald old men with opulence and indulgence oozing from every pore on their bodies and Jeers directed at me from every angle.
"This here is our one and only pup with silver eyes with a starting price of ten gold, each increment of 1 gold." Shouted Rufus as he beamed and offered these so called nobles the best grin a raider could offer.
"11 for the life sized doll my little girl will love him."
"12 for the pretty little guy."said an overweight whale
"30 gold"everyone went silent and I looked towards the magnificent specimen of a female with raven hair, calming black irises and meat that definitely wasn't distributed evenly. Her scent was fleeting ,with hints of blackberry and lavender, surprisingly it didn't overwhelm my nostrils even with my enhanced sense of smell
"30 gold going once, going twice, sold to the beautiful woman there."Rufus grinned as he starred at the lustrous glow of gold.
And so I was passed out o a different owner
