She was the only medical ninja assigned to the entire team. In this battle, death might be a release, while surviving feels like a burden. At least, seeing Shizune's sweat-soaked hair and pale face, it was clear she had exhausted her chakra and stamina.
Seeing the medical chakra light up in her hands again, Kaito reached out to stop her.
"Don't worry, my body is almost fully healed. You should rest a bit. If you keep going, I'm afraid you'll exhaust yourself and pass out," Kaito advised.
Shizune stubbornly shook her head, biting her lip, "Lady Tsunade said that medical ninja are the last guardians of life on the battlefield. If even I give up, then they will be abandoned too."
"I'm not willing to give up. If I could be as strong as Lady Tsunade and summon Lady Katsuyu to help heal everyone, they wouldn't have to be abandoned," Shizune's eyes were red as she knelt on the ground, clutching her pants tightly.
