Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 0

Prologue – The Fall

A thousand years ago, the world ended.

Not in fire.

Not in war.

Just… ended.

No one knows how. No one knows why. Whatever it was, it left nothing behind but questions and scars. One day, everything simply stopped. The skies twisted into darkness. Oceans froze where they raged. Continents vanished without warning, and cities—once filled with life—crumbled into silence. Civilization collapsed overnight, and whatever came after... didn't leave witnesses.

They call it the Great Quiet now. The final breath before everything changed. Whatever records once existed were either lost, burned, or buried under centuries of ash and ruin. The old world became legend—a fractured memory passed down through stories, myths, and whispers that no one truly believed. Time itself seemed to splinter, and all that remained were fragments: corrupted data, forgotten ruins, and the haunting absence of answers.

But among those fragments, one constant remains—the Lost Lands. A place buried deep beneath the Earth's surface. No map marks its location. No satellite has ever detected it. And yet, every scholar, every scavenger, every cultist and war survivor who dares to chase the truth agrees on one terrifying certainty: something was sealed down there. Not to keep humanity out… but to keep something in.

Whatever it was, it changed everything. It shattered the world's balance, twisted the natural order, and erased whatever came before. It was swift. Absolute. Final.

Humanity should have perished.

But it didn't.

Because somewhere, in the darkness left behind…

someone lit a spark.

And that spark survived.

Now, centuries later, the world has changed again.

The scars of another war—one fought not by gods, but by men—still bleed across the surface. A decade of violence has left the land broken and divided. The empires are gone, replaced by warring factions, false prophets, and corporations drunk on power.

At the heart of this ruin stands Yuron—a fractured state rising from the ashes of its own civil war, haunted by the mistakes of those who came before… and stalked by something far older.

The spark is still alive.

But so is the darkness.

And it's beginning to remember.
