Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1.

Life is a whirlwind- or perhaps I should say abrupt- because it moves very fast and is often unexpected. It is a journey filled with ups and downs.

Amelia Osinachi Ada, a 25 years old young woman, and she loves her family deeply; they mean everything to her. She is tall and stunning, energetic, hardworking, and extroverted, and never bothered by the opinions of others. Amelia enjoys engaging in fun activities such as listening to music, playing brain-stimulating games, cooking, reading, writing, and more. Additionally, she has a passion for baking and fashion designing. Her parents, Noah and Scarlett Osinach, have always been supportive, and she shares a strong bond with her elder brother, Ethan Obinna Osinach.

Amelia's family resides in Delta State. She is unfamiliar or knows little about her paternal grandparents, as no one has ever spoken about them. She always hoped her dad would reveal the truth one day, but that day never came. On the other hand, Amelia's maternal grandparents, Aaron and Olivia Chukwudalu are kind and loving.

Her grandfather is a teacher, a very calm and peaceful man. He is respected wherever he goes. He values women and always prioritizes others before himself. His love for his wife is profound, and he cherishes her deeply. In contrast, Amelia's grandmother has a tough and strict personality. She is a hard working, driven and determined woman with a kind heart. A beautiful and strong-willed lady, she manages multiple farm gardens and has a variety of businesses, including selling baby things, poultry farming and running a shop, among other endeavors.

Amelia's grandparents had eleven children, but only six survived. Their first daughter, Harper Chukwudalu, inherited her father's patience, composed and calm nature, eventually becoming a teacher. She attended Hope High School, where she made new friends. Their second son, Levi Chukwudalu, shared his father's gentle personality and developed a love for visual artwork, specifically sculpting. Their third daughter and Amelia's mother, Scarlett Chukwudalu, mirrored her mother's resilience, hardworking, tough, smart, determined, never one to give up on her goals, tall and beautiful. She attended the same school as Levi.

The fourth daughter, Amanda Chukwudalu, also took after her mother's strong-willed nature. She was firm, driven, and passionate, always offering good advice excelling in fashion design. Later, Amelia's grandmother gave birth to twin boys, Jack and Jace Chukwudalu. Jack, older of the two, was fair-skinned, hardworking, never gave up on his dream and highly organized. Jace, on the other hand, had a darker complexion, was playful, slightly hardworking, and very funny. Unlike Jack, Jace's room was always messy, and he loved to sleep. The twin is just like his parents.

Amelia's grandparents adored their childrens and ensured they received a proper education. The children grew up to be smart, kind, compassionate, patient, and understanding.

The family worked hard- Amelia's grandparents and their children often went to the farm while Scarlett stayed home to cook and clean. Amelia's grandfather worked only briefly before returning home, while her grandmother labored tirelessly until nightfall. Her grandfather had many friends who admired Amanda for her fair complexion and beauty, very soft like a tomato. Unfortunately, they introduced her to alcohol at a young age, leading to a lack of self-control. Her mother eventually gave her an anti-alcohol remedy.

During their childhood, an accident occurred when Scarlett, unaware that Jace was approaching the kitchen, spilled hot water on the ground. Jace got hurt and cried profusely, but their mother tended to his wound. Scarlett and Amanda often clashed, constantly bickering and fighting.

Amelia's grandfather loved storytelling, always emphasizing that good triumphs over evil-but was that really true? Meanwhile, her grandmother taught them essential life skills like cooking and cleaning. As they grew older, they pursued different careers and eventually got married.

Harper became a high school teacher. One day, she got ill and a co-teacher and a friend, Kayla Akpofure, took her to the hospital, where she met Greg- a doctor who treated patients with diligence and kindness. Greg became attached to Harper because of her patient, calming, and kind-hearted nature.

She married Greg Edewor, becoming Harper Edewor. They had a son named Aiden Edewor. Aiden was a quiet yet observant and caring child. He encouraged others and understood people well. However, he had his flaws- he only did things at his own pace and could not be forced into tasks. Additionally, when focused on work, he shuts out all distractions, refusing to engage in conversation or play with us.

Scarlet, on the other hand, pursued a degree in Nursing at the University of Lagos. She was diligent and resilient.

During her studies, she underwent a full-body health check, revealing her genotype as AA and blood group as O positive. During her time at university, she met Noah Osinach, an accounting student from Delta State. Noah was handsome, funny and intelligent.

Their love blossomed quickly, and after completing their studies, they got married, making her Scarlett Osinachi. Noah ran a business and dealt in firearms.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Ethan Obinna Osinach. Noah was elated by the birth of their son. Ethan grew up to be a cheerful and humorous young man who loved playing football and video games. He cared deeply for his family, though he rarely showed it. However, he had certain shortcomings- he often helped others but never assisted his family, and he had a habit of procrastinating. As he grew older, he frequently quarreled with his family, preferring to spend long hours talking on his phone. What was that all about?
