Alexander's POV
I was still doing some paperwork when the door to my office swung open. It was my beta. What does he want? He watched as I kept the silence going and continued my paperwork. I glanced at him and asked, "What do you want.''
" Don't you think we've been working too much? Come on, you know that diner which serve brilliant food. I suggest we go there.'' Is he kidding me? He disturbed me for that reason. Sometimes I wonder why he's very annoying when his sister is always calm and actually speaks logic. 'It's because you like her'. 'No, I don't ' I replied to my wolf, Asher. " Are you coming or not?", Alias asked again. " No, I have paperwork to do", I wasn't in the mood to go anyway but I knew my beta wasn't going to take 'no' for an answer, I coukd see it through his eyes. "Why not". " Because I say so and you shouldn't talking to your alpha with that attitude", it was my last string. I might even do something I regret if he keeps on. He gave me a ''whatever'' look andwas going to exit when I asked, ''Is Valerie going with you.'' I didn't know what took over me but I couldn't help but ask.
" So you wanna see my sister?''
"Of course not. If she's coming, you'll take hours just to come back to the pack house."
" I ain't coming back."
"And leave me with all the work?"
"You can come"
"I still have some paperwork"
My beta looked at me like I was some alien. I wanted to finish all my paperwork. Talking about my work, has he finish his work? " Have you sent the documents to the Principal of Eve?", I glared at him. He hasn't finish it at all. "I'll work on it", I didn't say anything but I think my look mde him change his mind. "Fine. I'll do it now."

I finish my paperwork. Alias came back with an annoyed look which says 'I'm done with my work'. " I'll come with you'', I finally agreed.
