Running towards north, above the rooftops of the city, Navi and Kami looks for 「Luck」 who stole their cake...
While running they talk about their plans on how to defeat「Luck」…
'One thing I know is that, 「Borrowers 」 have their limits. They're still human inside, the only thing that changed, was them receiving powers.'

'They're bound to get tired if they exhaust themselves!'
Remembering something from before, Kami creates something unbeknownst to Navi.
In the meantime, 「Luck」 is resting in an abandoned building, laying there with his skateboard on the side. Inside his head, he dreams about his past, going to school with his older sister... crying…

A loud creaking sound reverberates from the first floor of the building, while panicked voice scrambling can also be heard.
The boy wakes up with bits of tears in his eyes. Wiping it off, he investigates the noise from below. Looking around he sees nothing...

Swinging from above using their scarf, Navi kicks him in the gut, fracturing his ribs, and forcing him cough up blood from the heavy impact.
"gah-ha!!"
'...I said kick him... not.. kill him.'
"I-I didn't mean to! You said he was powerful, that shouldn't kill him!"
'Yea, but I also said that they're still human. ALSO, that's a kid!!'
"So am I!"
While the two argues if Navi killed him or not, the boy coughs up blood on the ground.
Seeing his own blood on the ground, he panics and points his finger towards himself in wanting to recover himself quickly and get away after...
But…
(Luck does not favor anyone who's desperate, not even innocent ones are spared.)

Scrolling numbers from 6-10 appears, landing an 8, he tuts and shoots himself again,

Numbers scrolling from 1-10 appears above Navi's head, but in a quick action, Kami creates a crate on the number, stopping an event from happening.
Opening the crate, a bomb was created.
"what…?"
The boy gets is taken aback by what happened, questioning himself if he'll even win against the person in front of him...
'looks like he's stunned from not knowing he can do this. Catch hi-'
"no, no, no... ive tried that before, that doesnt work, that shouldnt work…!"
"Kami, what's happening?"
Feeling confused as well, Kami thinks about how a 「Borrowers」 power work...
'I'll explain later, first we have to catch him first and get our cake back!'
"Roger that!"
Navi takes one step forward, and with no more tricks to play and realizing that he has no chance of winning, the boy surrenders...

"...What?"
"ive seen what you did to my power. i'll be more dumber than i am now if i try to provoke you more after you just countered my 「Luck 」. i'll lay on the ground and stay still, so you can dont suspect anything."
"That's... weirdly suspicious..."
"im still fifteen. i dont think i can do much to someone who looks like shes been living… for a living…"
He says while his face is planted on the ground.

'Well, I think he won't do anything stupid, seeing how he said all that... Let's tie him up first!'
After tying him up without him even moving a muscle to resist, Navi asks him on why he stole their cake.
"wait... our? wheres the other person?"
"Hmm? What do you mean?"
Navi slowly raises her hand and points towards Kami.
"that creepy hat with a jagged wooden smile…?"
Navi gets confused as to what he just said, before reaching her hand in front of Kami and realizes that Kami has actually created a smile made using a broken crate and painted with a black outline.
"KAMI?!"
'I thought it would make others realize that I'm sentient…'
Being displeased with Kami's action, she tells Kami to ask her if they ever need help with getting recognized as a living being and not just a hat.
Looking back at the boy, they notice him with his head tilted to the side, with confusion in his eyes and smile.
"Ha~ This is Kami. A living object and my partner that talks to me inside my head."
The boy looking confused, looks at Kami realizing that its moving on its own.
"ohh!, thats creepy cool!"
'Creepy cool?'
"Anyways, can you answer our question now? Why you stole our cake?"
While raising an eyebrow to emphasize her question more.
"ah, that was because i was hungry. freshly baked bread was just not enough for me."
"So you stole our cake?"
"well i mean, i never heard cake, but i did hear someone screaming "ark", that i just had to check it out myself."
Hearing what he just said, Navi doesn't argue any further and asks directly about her and Kami's cake.
"your cake? its still here. never ate it, and never will"
"Wait, why? weren't you hungr-"
"yea, no. you guys have a reallyyyy bad taste for cakes huh? like really?? chicken flavored cake?? yuck."
Getting irritated by what he just said, Navi tells him to talk to Kami instead, and with an agitated look, she kicks him and pouts away.
Feeling tired Navi tells Kami that she wants to rest for a bit, knowing that nothing bad will happen in the meantime they're there.
"Kami, you can talk to him while I sleep... over on that bed over there."
'Alright, I'll wake you up when we're done talking.'
The boy looks confused as Navi takes off Kami and places them on his head.
"woah! what are you doing?"
"You~ talk to her, I'm gonna sleep."
Removing Kami from her head, Navi limps towards the bed, falling to her knees before dropping down on it, she then falls asleep.
'Hi, just as she said, she'll sleep for a bit.'
"what the?! who's talking to me?"
'Its Kami, she already told you that, but it's better to introduce myself, myself.'
"oh, the hat. do you have like, 「Telekinesis」? thats cool, ive always wanted to have that kind of power. i wanna feel like that one anime i watched!"
Surprised by the question and confusion on his last comment, Kami tells him that the power 「Telekinesis」 isn't all that great. Removing your personality and replacing it with insanity instead. Kami states to him, that it felt like the power stole his friend.
"im sorry to hear that…"
Feeling the mood is now down because them, Kami explains to him how he's able to hear them talk.
'...Once I'm on someone's head, I can read their thoughts and talk to them directly inside their minds. I can also see your past if I try hard enough.'
"...oh…? uhm!! please dont dig into my past!!"
Kami thinking they have some sort of experience similar to them, Kami agrees to not look further than the ones in the present.
'Besides, a certain person already told me to not do that kind of thing anymore.'
While having a content expression, Kami looks over to Navi sleeping soundly.
Feeling jealous, the boy suddenly blurts out a sentence in a quiet tone…
"you guys seem like a happy family…"
The boys expression of jealousy caught up to him for a bit and returns to normal as soon as he realized what he just said.
'...What's your name kid? it'll be a hassle to keep calling you kid or boy.'
"ah sorry, you guys introduced yourself already while im here not talking about myself."
He stands up, breaths in and out, points to himself, and...
"My name is Un! a man that became a 「Borrower 」 on–– my– walk home! Acquiring 「Luck 」 I got cast away from my home, because the people in my town was worried that they might get hit by bad luck.
Since then I have been relying on my power to survive, barely living because my life is just random!!"
Un said all these information while moving around and waving his arms...
He felt disgusted by what he just did, as Kami begins to wonder about the name, but dismisses it and starts to snicker...
'Pftt… what was that?'
"ughh!!, this is why i hate that part of myself… but, i have to keep it as part of my personality… for my sis."
Un looking despondent again, Kami tells him that they're sorry...
"anyways, can you tell me how you did that to my power?"
As he points towards the bomb created from before.
'It's probably because of my power, 「Creation」... When you use your power, what do you see or feel?'
"when i point my finger towards a target, i can feel a switch that tells me when i can use my power, accepting to trigger it, an invisible line that only i can see appears on my pointer finger, and the line moves towards where i pointed. reaching the target, the numbers then appear and starts to scroll."
Kami concludes that, Un's scrolling number is similar to Kami's created objects. Kami's power 「Creation」, created objects are a part of them, and Un's the same.
Combining their powers work like combining DNA from a different animal to another, and it forms something different with similar features. For example, when Kami used a crate to cover the number in their confrontation from before, and the other time, it hits the scrolling number and fuses the condition of creating something and the condition of randomizing.
With a look of confusion from Un, Kami sighs and stops explaining, and talks to Un more about anything else, since Un is still 15...
Inside Navi's dream... in a forest... a figure appears in front of her… (Continue on this line)
"who... are you...?"
"W-what?"
"do you know... who you... are...? or who Kyomu is?"
The figure asks, as leaves blows pasts Navi, blocking her sight. The leaves clear away Navi's face, and the figure has already disappeared.
Navi looking confused by what that was, looks around her surroundings seeing only plants, trees... logs, pebbles... rocks...
Navi stands there feeling confused, as the sound of birds chirping... leaves falling from above... winds blowing around her hair... a thud.
Navi, still looking tired, wakes up to Kami trying to shove the cake into Un's mouth.
Seeing as Navi is now awake, Un throws Kami onto Navi and escapes through the building window by shooting himself and jumping off.
Navi puts on Kami and feels more energized as if the sleep she took only benefited her body. Running towards the window, Un jumped out off.
*bang*
While falling he screams to Kami.
"next time we meet again, im the one whos gonna be shoving a cake in you!!"
Rolling an 8, Un lands on a squishy green creature, softening his landing.
Navi and Kami both look down to where he landed and looks surprised. Navi especially, with a horrified face.
"He-... he jumped before even knowing his luck... How did I wake up to this...?"
'Well, he was lucky enough to land on a lime. Second in the softest creature there is!'
Sighing a relief that Un landed safely, Navi asks Kami as to why they were fighting when she woke up with a concerned look.
Responding to Navi's concerned question, Kami says that Un just said something stupid that irritated them, and for revenge, Kami took the cake he "yucked" at, and tried to forcefully make him eat it.
"Oh, haha!"
After cleaning up the mess the two made, Kami asks Navi why she was squirming when she was sleeping.
"Ah! I had a weird dream again, this time it was in a forest and a random figure asked me if I knew who I am."
Kami starts to recall the past... or tries at least...
'...'
"Kami?"
'...'
"Kami?! Are you ok?"
Kami, still trying to remember about the past, snaps back to reality… and asks if there was more about her dream…
"Hmm... Ah! it also asked if I know who Kyomu is, but I don't think we ever met anyone with that name before… right?"
Kami with a fearful look suggested to stop their conversation while stuttering.
"Aww!! I actually wanted to learn about myself more. I don't even remember how I was born!"
Putting her fist on to their own head, while smiling brightly as if she's making a joke, to improve the mood around them.
'...Pftt... You really know how to brighten the mood huh?'
"Well, you were looking down, so I had no choice!"
Navi smiles and lays down on the floor, and Kami's mind returns to being relieved.
'You've grown Navi... I think its time.'
"Hm? About what?"
Kami looking content, they ready themselves and takes a sigh of relief as their thoughts about their past clears up. Thinking about how it's time to get Navi to remember herself... her past self.
Without telling Navi about the plan, Kami suggests to Navi…
'Shall we go to my old home?'
With an excited look forming on Navi's face, she giggles and jumps in the air.
"YOUR HOUSE THAT'S FILLED WITH YOUR OLD PARTNERS AND PAST ADVENTURE!? YES!!"
Kami is happy to hear Navi being excited, but then, Kami suddenly remembers…
'... Oh! I-i actually don't remember where my house is...'
Going quieter each word as he talks.
"..."
'But! I did have a flag near my home! I made it using a rare material, so if we can find someone who can build a tracker that tracks that specific material, we can reach my house!'
"That's a plan, but... Who can create a thing like that?"
'We can ask around adventurers from the guild house if someone knows a Great Magician! I've seen one create a tracker for a specific loss horse before too.'
Agreeing to Kami's plan, they head back to the city in search of a Great Magician…
