Chapter 1
Karen woke up to the same suffocating atmosphere . she rolled from the right side of her tiny bed to the other side and finally battled her eyes open . she sat up and rest on the bed . after series of thinking and brooding . she reluctantly went to take her bath . she went to the main building used as the brothel . normally during the day the brothel is used as a bar or chilling spot but at night it is use for all sought of unholy stuffs .
She got to the brothel as usual she go about running errands doing deliveries and all sought of exhausting works .
Finally evening came swiftly giving the day a break . as customers start swarming into the brothel to their daily evening routine .
Karen was passing through the passage that leads to her room to take a break from the tiring day . normally she doesn't work during evening so as to not get assaulted by the drunk customers .
Passing through the front of her aunts office she overheard her aunt talking about her with one of the brothel members Clara and that got her attention .
She leaned in to eavesdrop .
Her jaws dropped when the realisation of what they are conversing about it her . her legs shook on the spot and she staggered to her room in fear .
The night drift in quickly reliving the evening . as the brothel becomes full and bubbling and the unholy acts began as the smell of alcohol mixed with sinful activities rented the air . people going in and out of room and some doing their business openly on the brothel couch at the main club part .
Karen was in her room preparing for the worst . when khloe one of the brothel members came in .
"Karen , madame jully wants to see you ." she said and walked out . Karen heaved and mumbled before following her out . holding the hem of her dress nervously .
She got to madame Juliana's office and heaved before placing a knock on the door .
"Come in ." her authorative voice came and she went in .
"Go pack your things you'll be leaving soon ." she said and Karen raised her head in awe . " someone is coming to get you and you'll be staying with him . his name is Mr Alexander . he's a rich business man . be of good behaviour and you'll enjoy him ." she continued .
"Urm. Ma'am what am I going to do in his house ?" She asked .
"Anything he wants you to do ". Karen legs shook knowing where this is heading to she decided not to ask much questions. She left the office with teary eyes .
Getting to her room she broke down in tears as she packed her things .
After she packed up she was alerted that her boss or whoever he is to her was already waiting and she headed to madame Juliana's office to meet them .
" you're here ?."
"Meet Mr Alexander ." she added and Karen nodded as she bowed in acknowledgement . she was directed to wait in the car as the two converse. Later on he came out and they were driven to his mansion .
It was a really big house . at first she was happy to see this kind of building cos it's been ages since she saw or lived in one but it then dawned on her the purpose for her coming here . she carried her belongings and she was showed to he at least it was better than the tiny space she stayed in at the brothel . she took a quick shower and went to bed
