Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

After that, I lost consciousness and then started feeling like I was inside something small, like a little dark space. I couldn't see anything, but I could move my legs and hands. I tried to get out of that small space, but I couldn't. Then, finally, something pulled me out, and I heard the sound of a baby crying. It was really irritating. I tried to open my eyes, but it was too bright to do so. However, I managed to open them, and I found myself in a big, luxurious room. Then, I heard a high-pitched voice.

???: It is a boy!!!

Then I finally come back to my senses and realize that I'm the one crying. I'm the baby because the voice I just heard is coming from someone holding me in her arms. She looks like a giant, so I immediately stop crying. Then, I hear a sweet voice.

???: Let me hold him.

???: Yes Madame!!

Then the giant who is holding me starts moving and carefully places me in someone else's arms. I blink a few times, trying to adjust to everything around me. The world feels huge and overwhelming. Her voice is calming, gentle, like a melody I've never heard before. I can sense her warmth, the soft touch of her hands as she cradles me, and the way she moves carefully, as if she's trying not to disturb me. As I start to feel a bit more at ease, I catch a glimpse of her face. Her features are kind and beautiful, with black hair and green eyes. Then, someone hugs her from the side, as she's sitting on the bed with the help of the headboard. The person standing beside her is a man. He doesn't look very good looking—his skin is pale, and dark circles under his blue eyes stand out. His hair is white. I think they both are my parents. As I feel the gentle rocking, I realize something, there's a deep urge within me. I want to hold them. I want to reach out and connect, to feel the bond that should be there. My tiny hands, still weak, grasp at the air, trying to find something to hold onto. The woman notices my movements and looks down at me, a soft smile on her face. Her gaze is filled with warmth, but there's also a hint of concern. Then she shifts her gaze to the person next to her.

???: Gregory, I don't know what to do. My brothers follow the Dark Lord, while your father is loyal to Dumbledore. This war threatens to tear everything apart, and I'm terrified of what it will mean for our baby!!

So, my father's name is Gregory, I don't like it but it suits him. When he heard what my mom said, he gave her an awkward smile. Then he rested his big hand on my head—it was so big, or maybe I was just that small, that he could've covered my whole head. But he just gave me a gentle pat instead.

Gregory: Don't worry, Cassilda… He's going to be okay. We're here for him—to protect him, to guide him! But the path he chooses, the future he builds… that's in his hands. All we can do is love him, stand by him, and be his strength when he needs it most!

Cassilda: Yeah, you're right! All I can give him is my unconditional love.

She looks at me and gives me the warmest, most loving smile. Then she gently scratches my nose, and I can't help but giggle. I grab her finger, holding onto it like it's the only thing keeping me grounded. That's when I notice—she's so tired, her eyes heavy with sleep. And I'm not the only one who sees it. My father notices too. Quietly, he and someone else—a nurse or maybe a doctor, I'm not sure—step out. Before leaving, they help her lie down on my bed and carefully place me beside her. Then they walk out, closing the door softly behind them. She turns toward me, her movements slow and tender, and rests her hand gently on my stomach.

Cassilda: Goodnight Alexander!!

Then she falls asleep. After that, the room grows quiet, and I can finally check my system.

Alexander: " System "

That's when a faint, glowing blue window appears in front of my eyes, almost like it's floating in the air—translucent and unreal.

I reach out with my tiny hand and tap on "Pocket Dimension." Instantly, a new window appears in front of me, offering two options: "Storage" and "Gate." Curious, I click on "Storage" first. Another window pops up beside the first, displaying rows of empty boxes—waiting to be filled. Then I tap on "Gate," and to my surprise, a shimmering blue portal opens up right beside the bed. The sudden appearance startles me, and I quickly shut both options. The gate vanishes just as fast as it appeared. I glance over at my mother to make sure she's okay—and there she is, sleeping peacefully. I let out a quiet breath of relief… and then, I tap on "Status."

[ Yggdrasil Wand

Moria Wand ]

I choose this Wand.....

3 years later...

Sunlight streaming through the window wakes me, and I slowly open my eyes. I sit up in bed, stretch a little, then head to the bathroom to take care of my morning routine. Once I'm done, I step out of my room, make my way downstairs, and walk toward the dining room. There, I find both of my parents already at the table, quietly enjoying their breakfast.

Alexander: Good Morning!!

Gregory & Cassilda: Good Morning!!

Then I sit on a chair and start eating breakfast. That's when I notice my mom and dad looking at me.

Alexander: What happened? Why are you guys looking at me like that?

They glance at each other, and for a moment, it feels like they're having a whole conversation without saying a single word—just speaking with their eyes. After a few quiet minutes, they both finally turn their attention back to me.

Gregory: Your mother and I have made a decision for you! In the Muggle world, children usually start school around the age of three—and she believes it would be good for you to learn about science and politics from their world, since they've made great progress in those areas. She also wants to help establish our family within the Muggle society!! As for me, I think you should study wand making under your grandfather. One day, you could take over his centuries-old shop and carry on our magical legacy!! So now the choice is yours—what path do you want to follow?
