Chapter 33 - Tutorial Room 2

Chapter 33 : Tutorial Room 2

Seraphine stood alone in the dimly lit tutorial room, her presence radiating strength and confidence. This was the first time her ability activated on its own, her golden eyes glowing even more beautifully than ever before. Those mesmerizing eyes could pierce through darkness and see the strengths and weaknesses of everything around her, their brilliance unmatched.

Her crimson hair cascaded down her shoulders, its rich, fiery hue adding to her striking beauty. Her features were sharper, more refined, her flawless skin radiating a glow of newfound resilience.

The intense training and rough experiences she had endured had transformed her body into perfection—her curves now so beautiful they could drive men mad with desire. But it was more than just her appearance that had changed. Her mindset was stronger, her spirit sharpened into something unbreakable.

Seraphine gripped her sword with graceful precision, her slender fingers wrapped around its hilt with a sense of familiarity and power. She had already torn through a group of goblins with ease, her strikes swift and merciless. Now, only the boss remained—the towering orc standing before her, its brutal presence exuding raw power.

But Seraphine didn't waver. Her golden eyes observed everything.

A confident smile touched her lips. Despite its overwhelming strength, its level was lower than hers. But the moment she lunged forward, her blade slicing through the air, the orc reacted faster than she expected. Its massive arm collided with her sword, the force so immense that it pushed her back, sending her crashing to the ground.

Pain throbbed through her body, but she gritted her teeth and rose to her feet. "Its level is lower than mine, but its strength is far greater. I need to stay calm and not rush like an idiot."

She steadied herself, her golden eyes analyzing every detail of the orc's body. Her ability activated again, information flooding her mind. Its muscles were dense and impenetrable, a fortress of flesh with no apparent weakness. But then, she saw it—its eyes. Unlike the rest of its body, they were unprotected. Vulnerable.

Her smile grew, fierce and determined. "Found you."

She lunged forward again, her blade swinging downward, but at the last moment, she changed her movement. The orc's reaction was too slow, her sword piercing straight into one of its eyes. The creature roared in agony, its massive body flailing in a desperate attempt to strike her. But Seraphine didn't stop. With swift precision, she attacked the other eye, blinding it completely.

Now, the orc was nothing more than a flailing beast, helpless and vulnerable. Without mercy, she continued her assault, her sword cutting through its flesh over and over until the monstrous creature fell to the ground, lifeless.

Breathing heavily, Seraphine lowered her sword and allowed herself a moment of rest. Her golden eyes shimmered with satisfaction. Suddenly, a screen appeared before her, words glowing in the darkness.

Her fingers trembled slightly as she reached out to claim her reward. And then, she saw her updated stats.

A smile of pure satisfaction spread across her lips. The reward was worth every drop of sweat and blood. She could feel her senses heightened, her reflexes sharper than ever. Enhanced Reflex—an ability that would make her even deadlier.

As she turned to leave the room, her ability activated on its own once more, drawing her attention in a specific direction. Curious, she followed the guidance until she stumbled upon a hidden treasure trove of the goblins.

Her eyes widened in delight. "Jackpot."

She frowned for a moment, wondering how to carry all the loot. But then, her ability activated again, a screen appearing before her, displaying the treasures. With a single thought, everything was stored away, safely contained within the screen.

A sense of accomplishment surged through her. The training had paid off beyond her expectations. Now, she understood how to truly utilize her ability. With her enhanced reflexes and sharpened senses, she had become far stronger than before.

With confidence brimming within her, Seraphine walked out of the tutorial room. Her crimson hair swayed gracefully with each step, her golden eyes shining with triumph. She glanced around and realized that Lyra was still inside her own tutorial room.

She waited patiently, her expression calm but slightly curious. Whatever Lyra was going through, Seraphine knew it wouldn't be easy.

But they had both grown stronger. And they would both leave this place as rankers.

---

Inside the tutorial room, Lyra leaned against the cold, rugged wall, her chest heaving with exhaustion. Her normally soft, gentle expression was replaced by something colder, sharper. Her white hair, now messy and sticking to her forehead with sweat, framed her beautiful yet hardened face. The sharpness of her black eyes hinted at the brutal encounter she had just faced. Blood trickled from a wound on her arm, but she had grown used to the pain. It barely fazed her now.

She opened her stats screen for the first time, her eyes narrowing with a mixture of curiosity and satisfaction.

Lyra let out a tired sigh, her pale lips curving into a faint smile. Despite the rough experience, she felt stronger. She pushed herself away from the wall and walked out of the room, her steps steady, determined.

The moment she exited, she saw Seraphine waiting for her. The crimson-haired girl stood there, her golden eyes glowing even more beautifully than before, with an intensity that spoke of newfound strength. Despite her delicate and mesmerizing beauty, Seraphine's gaze was firm and resolute. Her perfectly sculpted face held a gentle smile, and her body, now enhanced by rigorous training, had grown even more alluring and powerful.

"Hey," Lyra called out, her voice slightly strained. "How did you do?"

Seraphine's smile widened, a spark of satisfaction dancing in her radiant eyes. "It was easy. How about you?"

Lyra chuckled softly. "It was fine. But I'm exhausted. Let's just go to our rooms and rest."

Seraphine nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that sounds good."

The two of them made their way to their rooms, their steps weary but their spirits high. As they reached the door, Aurelia was already waiting for them, her crimson hair flowing elegantly over her shoulders, her golden eyes burning with worry and relief.

Before either of them could say a word, Aurelia wrapped her arms around them both, pulling them into a tight, warm embrace. The softness of her expression melted away the coldness Lyra had been holding onto.

"I was worried sick about you two," Aurelia whispered, her voice trembling slightly with the emotions she had been holding back.

"We're fine, sis," Seraphine replied softly, her voice soothing.

Aurelia pulled away, her hands quickly reaching for the wounds Lyra had suffered. Her touch was gentle but firm as she cleaned the blood and applied ointment with practiced care. Her expression was tender, almost motherly, her concern evident in every movement.

"Thank you," Lyra murmured, her eyes softening.

Seraphine, meanwhile, had activated her ability to check their stats.

Seraphine's brow furrowed slightly, surprised. She couldn't see Lyra's ability.

"What ability did you get?" she asked curiously.

Lyra shrugged. "Necromancer. But I don't really know what it does yet. What about you?"

"I got Enhanced Reflex. I guess it just makes my reflexes sharper," Seraphine replied with a thoughtful smile.

Just then, Raven entered the room. His white hair, slightly tousled, only seemed to enhance his strikingly handsome features. His black eyes held a calm yet playful glint as he took in the scene before him.

"I see you both survived," Raven said, his voice light. "Congratulations. Now we three are rankers."

He turned to Aurelia, a teasing smile playing on his lips. "So, sister-in-law, when are you planning to challenge it?"

Aurelia's gaze shifted to Raven, her golden eyes meeting his black ones with a cool, composed look. "I will challenge it tomorrow."

Seraphine's curiosity piqued, and she activated her ability again, her golden eyes shimmering as she glanced at Raven and Aurelia.

Seraphine's eyes widened. Raven's stats were impressive, but Aurelia's were incredible. Her strength and endurance were on a whole different level. It was no wonder she seemed so confident.

But Seraphine chose not to comment on it, merely smiling at her sister. "You're strong, Aurelia. You'll clear the room easily."

Aurelia's lips curved into a small, graceful smile. "I hope so."

"You all should rest," Aurelia said, her gaze softening as she looked at them. "I need to go see and tell Grim about today and tell him I'll be challenging the room tomorrow."

They all nodded, their exhaustion making them obedient. Without further words, they retreated to their beds, their minds swirling with thoughts of what lay ahead.

Aurelia watched them with a gentle smile, a warmth in her gaze that only family could bring. Then she turned and left the room, her expression turning determined as she headed to meet Grim.
