12 Day's it's been since Azure disappeared Tristan was worried it's like the more he tried looking for his boy the farther he got from what happened Maia hasn't been any help she only said "he'll be fine he's been by himself multiple times" and it felt like insufferable pain shot through him his prescious baby his boy all by himself multiple times that morning him and Maia got into a argument about how she wasn't a good mother or how she thought he was a lazy man Sheldon listend to the argument he's seen them happen while growing up most the time it would be about how she was starving him or neglecting him once she touched him in a way a mother should never touch a child but his dad never found out because he was always driving a truck from one state to another for a month he knew his dad had a smoking addiction and gambling but tried hard to stay away from casinos and made sure to keep a safe distance when he smelled like smoke Sheldon remembers the time he tried hugging his dad when he finally got home he was just 5 then but Tristan backed up saying he wanted to shower first and hug him after it was always like that especially with Azure.
Later after the fight with Maia and Tristan she went to the kitchen she hated the lodge she hated having a family she never wanted kids she never wanted to have a husband she wanted to have meaningless fun and party but she got robbed of it she felt like an idiot for saying yes to marrying Tristan for saying yes to having kids now she was stuck she prayed that they'd die or dissaper out her life so she can get back to her's but she was 34 now she wanted to keep getting surgeries so she can keep her beauty when she goes back to living how she wanted but it doesn't seem like it will be soon.
Tristan was on the phone yelling at the police about why they haven't found him yet his baby could be out somewhere scared and trying to find his way home the police said they're trying to look but other cases were brought to them about children and adults also going missing at the beach Tristan was devastated by the news his boy still lost and others children also gone he felt bad for the families that lost their children and for the adults who did go missing as well they might have had families that are doing what he's doing that night he went to a church it was beautiful had many flowers and beautiful chandeliers he got done onto his knees and prayed in front of God's statue praying his little boy and others would be found soon.
Soon it turned to 18 Days even more people gone missing and he had enough waiting something was in the water something was in the ocean and it took many innocent lives and his precious boy Maia told Tristan to give up Azure was dead and there was nothing to do and that they should move back to the city Sheldon knew his brother was long gone but he understood where his dad was coming from Tristan told Sheldon that he was planning on going to Azure's favorite Greek restaurant for his 7th birthday and take 2 weeks off so they could bond more Sheldon knew how important it was to his dad.
Maia continued to complain and yell at him until he couldn't take it he grabbed her and Sheldon got into the car and started driving Sheldon was confused and scared what was happening Maia was beyond pissed off with Tristan that's when Sheldon saw the beach coming up his dad parking the car in the sand and dragging his mother out as she screamed at Tristan Sheldon saw him throw Maia into the water she came up to the surface angry and was about to yell at him before getting dragged down Tristan waited for it to show it's self seeing it come up a little bit only seeing it looked like a tadpole but had sharp teeth like a piranha and fins like a shark it opened its mouth and Tristan could hear people screaming and could recognize one of the voices it was Azure's voice then the creature dove back down to the ocean leaving Tristan falling to his knees in shock hearing his baby's voice for a moment crying for him he knew his baby was dead it took him his prescious boy gone so young it hurt so much Tristan got back in the car seeing Sheldon shaking and crying in the backseat Tristan grabbed him pulling him up front and hugged him crying with him saying sorry they went back home it was dark empty and silent Tristan said it feels different and Sheldon replied it feels like we're in the home of the deceased.
