Chapter 15 - Chapter 11: Sweet Saber Sect, Sticky Swords, and the Lollipop of Lawlessness

---

Part 1: A Saccharine Threat Emerges

The moment the Sweet Saber Sect walked into the arena, the temperature dropped—and the sugar content skyrocketed.

Their leader, a dainty but dangerous woman with bubblegum-pink hair, stood atop a massive floating donut. Her saber sparkled like sugar crystals under the twin suns.

She gave Wei Yun's group a sugary smile.

"Welcome, soup freaks," she purred. "We're the Sweet Saber Sect. We don't fight. We glaze."

Pan-Pan gagged. "I'm going into a sugar coma just hearing them talk."

System pinged:

> [Warning: Sweet Saber Sect cultivators specialize in "Glazed Saber Arts" and "Diabetic Domain Manipulation."]

[Estimated Spiritual Glucose Level: 99999g/m³]

[Consider insulin-infused counter-techniques.]

Mu Yao readied her fists. "Don't worry. I'll punch them into bitter territory."

Wei Yun sighed. "Let's just try not to die of sweetness overdose."

---

Part 2: The Arena Turns Into a Candyland Death Trap

As the bell rang, the Sweet Saber Sect activated their formation:

Sugarstorm Spiral Array!

Giant candy canes shot from the ground. Jellybean mines littered the terrain. A syrup tsunami oozed toward the team.

Xu Liang tripped over a caramel trap and landed face-first in a pudding pit.

Crutchy flapped by, flustered. "I can't even fly through this—it's sticky enough to trap spiritual chickens!"

Wei Yun activated his Soup Slip Technique, skating across the syrup with chili-oil propulsion.

He aimed a Knife Qi Stir-Fry Slash at the enemy formation, but it got absorbed by a cotton candy barrier.

Pan-Pan hurled his fork like a javelin. It sank into a marshmallow golem—and promptly got stuck.

"Great. My weapon is now in marshmallow hell."

---

Part 3: Duel with the Lollipop of Lawlessness

The Sweet Saber Sect's leader, Candyblade Fairy Ning, floated down toward Wei Yun.

"You have a lot of spirit for a backwater sect," she said sweetly. "But it's time you tasted true flavor."

She drew a giant spinning lollipop sword that hummed with divine glaze. "This is the Lollipop of Lawlessness. It doesn't kill. It disciplines."

Wei Yun backed up. "System, what the hell does that mean?"

> [Lollipop of Lawlessness: Each strike punishes your soul for poor life decisions.]

Wei Yun immediately regretted not flossing this morning.

She slashed once—Wei Yun was hurled into a gelatinous energy wall and saw visions of all the bad choices he'd made: not dodging taxes, insulting a spirit duck, and naming his sect "Soup Sect."

"I deserved that," he wheezed.

---

Part 4: Unexpected Reinforcements

Suddenly, a loud rumble shook the arena.

From the edge of the stands, a new figure leapt into the air—cloaked in shredded noodles and wielding chopstick nunchucks.

"Who the hell—" Wei Yun muttered.

System blinked:

> [NEW DISCIPLE UNLOCKED: Tang Zhi, Wandering Ramen Monk. Cultivation: Spicy Void Realm.]

[Specialties: Broth-based Kung Fu, Infinite Slurp Technique, and Inescapable Udon Bind.]

Tang Zhi bowed. "I sensed a disturbance in the flavor balance of this realm. I've come to assist the broth."

Mu Yao immediately approved. "He has punchable confidence. I like him."

Tang Zhi launched into the fight, twirling his chopsticks and slapping syrup clones into jelly dust.

Pan-Pan: "We're starting to look like a real team. Sort of."

---

Part 5: The Sweetest Betrayal

Just as victory seemed close, Candyblade Fairy Ning snapped her fingers.

From behind her, another familiar figure emerged—wearing syrup robes and holding a candy katana.

It was...

"Elder Guo?!" Xu Liang gasped.

The old man smirked. "Yes, it is I—Guo the Glazed. I defected for the candy."

Wei Yun nearly choked. "You traitor! You left us for... dessert techniques?!"

Guo shrugged. "They have dental plans."

The betrayal hurt more than the Lollipop of Lawlessness.

Mu Yao: "Okay, I'm punching a grandpa today."

---

Part 6: Glazed vs. Spiced – Final Clash

Wei Yun and Tang Zhi joined hands—literally—and executed a tag-team ultimate move:

Flaming Ramen Explosion Spiral!

A vortex of spicy broth and noodle fury spun through the arena, colliding with Candyblade Ning's sugary vortex.

It turned into a clash of cuisine. Sweet vs. Spicy. Toothache vs. Tongue-numbing.

System screamed:

> [CLASH DETECTED: Flavor Convergence Imminent!]

[Initiating Spiritual Tastebud Overdrive Mode.]

Candyblade Ning was overwhelmed by the spice. Her saber fizzled. The arena exploded in rainbow soup.

As the syrup settled, Wei Yun stood victorious—his shirt gone, his dignity damaged, but his will unbroken.

Pan-Pan retrieved his fork from the marshmallow wreckage.

Xu Liang finally climbed out of the pudding pit.

Crutchy: "I demand a refund on reality."

---

Part 7: Aftermath and the Sugar Crash

The Sweet Saber Sect was carted away on confectionary stretchers. Candyblade Ning blew a final bubble at Wei Yun.

"This isn't the last time you'll taste defeat."

Wei Yun: "Lady, I just wiped out diabetes. Take the L."

System updated the scoreboard:

> [Tournament Round 2: Victory!]

[Next Opponent: The Bitter Abyss Sect.]

[Warning: They haven't smiled in 500 years.]

Pan-Pan groaned. "I'm gonna miss the sweet ones."

Mu Yao cracked her knuckles. "Good. I was getting cavities."

Tang Zhi knelt. "Master Wei Yun. Allow me to join your sect. I bring broth. And rage."

Wei Yun welcomed him. "Welcome to the soup storm."

System dinged one final time:

> [New Title Unlocked: Broth Commander]

[New Passive Skill Gained: Spicy Aura – Enemies within 3 meters suffer mild discomfort.]

Everyone stared.

Wei Yun: "We're officially ridiculous now."

Mu Yao: "We were already there."
