Chapter 18 - Changing world

Jasmine and Keshav were both up early the next day, eager to get started on their dungeon diving once again. They quickly ate breakfast together, chatting excitedly about the dungeons they planned to tackle that day.

Jasmine and Keshav sat on the couch, phones in hand. When they opened players association form to find dungeon they noticed several announcements. As they scrolled through the announcements on the Player Association form. They clicked on the first one, bracing themselves for whatever news the Players Association had for them.

[ With the help of a scientist with research related skill, country C discovered method to use heart stones as battery and started production of new versions of various electronic equipments with them as battery causing value of heart stone to skyrocket. ]

Jasmine read the announcement aloud, her voice tinged with surprise. "Wow, so people are using heart stones as batteries now?" she said, her eyes wide.

Keshav nodded, tapping on the screen to read the details of the announcement. "Yeah, it says here that this scientist guy in country C was able to figure out a way to use heart stones as a power source for electronic equipment. That's huge news."

Jasmine's eyes lit up. "Does that mean the price of heart stones is going to go way up?" she asked, curious about the potential economic impact.

Keshav swiped to the next announcement, his eyes scanning the text. "Looks like it," he said, nodding. "The prices are already starting to increase. People are hoarding heart stones now, hoping to make a profit."

Jasmine hummed, a thoughtful expression on her face. "I wonder if we should start hoarding heart stones too," she mused, a hint of greed in her voice. "At least we never sold the heart stones we got till now."

Keshav nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that's true. We've been holding onto them this whole time. Maybe we should keep doing that for now. Who knows what the prices are going to do in the future?"

Jasmine swiped to the next announcement, her eyes scanning the words on the screen. "Alright, what's this one about?"

[ Due to increased value of heart stones and thier use as battery many more companies especially those concerned with electronic equipments created guilds. Few common people also succeeded in creating guilds.]

Jasmine's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "So, more people are starting guilds now because of the increased value of heart stones?" she asked.

Keshav nodded, reading further. "Yeah, looks like it. It says that many companies, especially those that produce electronic equipment, have started guilds to secure a steady supply of heart stones. It also mentions that some common people have managed to create guilds as well, which is pretty impressive."

Jasmine frowned for a moment. "Wait, does that mean we need to start a guild too?" she asked, a hint of worry in her voice.

Keshav said while unsure "Maybe but lets first check all the notifications."

Jasmine swiped to the next announcement, her eyes quickly scanning the text. "Okay, let's see what the next one says."

[ To prevent fights among players of different guilds, government has made new rules, from now on only 1 party can enter dungeon at a time and they will need to book slot to enter the dungeon when it appears and as government believed that guilds will be more efficient in clearing dungeons, so guilds will be prefered over individuals players for booking a slot of dungeons"

Jasmine's face fell as she read out the new rules. "Only one party can enter a dungeon at a time, and we have to register before going in? And guilds get priority?"

Keshav grimaced. "That's going to make things a lot harder, especially for us. We're going to have to compete with all these guilds now."

Jasmine nodded, a determined look on her face. "Alright, then it's settled," she said. "We'll start our own guild and make sure we're able to keep clearing dungeons and levelling up."

Keshav said hesitantly "With our cheat skills we can defeat monsters easily and if we bring party members with us it will decrease amount of monsters we can kill in dungeon to get experience"

Jasmine nodded, understanding his concerns. "You're right," she said, a frown pulling at the corners of her mouth. "Our skills are pretty OP, and bringing someone else along would split the experience we get from each monster we kill. That could slow us down a lot."
