"Choose my ass!!! Robin, don't listen to his nonsense…", Saul's loud voice kept echoing, filled with rage.

"Zannie, shut him up."

Rosse's originally smiling expression suddenly vanished, and his gaze turned icy cold.

"Yes!", Zannie, who had been standing lazily, shot out like a leopard.

"Ah!"

Saul, face full of fury, smashed his massive iron fist toward Zannie.

"Too slow. You giants rely entirely on physical talent for attacks. When facing opponents of the same level, you don't stand a chance."

Zannie didn't clash head-on with Saul at all. Their bodies crossed in a flash, and she had already bypassed Saul's fist.

Even during Saul's peak, she could completely overpower him with speed. Let alone now, when Saul had just recovered from his injuries. These past days he hadn't received any nutritional replenishment at all, he was in a completely weakened state.

This condition might not be too disadvantageous for true powerhouses, but for giants who rely on physical strength, the gap becomes insurmountable.

In his current state, both Gion and Rosse could easily take him down.

Shhh!

Zannie's figure kept flashing by Saul's side. With each flash, a new wound appeared on Saul's body, blood gushing out in streams.

In just a brief moment, Saul was drenched in blood like a man of gore and collapsed heavily onto the ground.

"Three minutes left."

Rosse glanced at Saul, who lay unmoving on the ground, and showed a satisfied smile.

This kind of dirty work still had to be done by people from CP0 after all.

He never intended for Gion or Zephyr to do such things. Gion still needed to be trained. As for Zephyr, killing was fine, but he would instinctively reject torture like this.

Turning around, Rosse looked at Robin, who was so scared she had lost all her senses, and shook his head in slight disappointment.

Even as an 8-year-old historian, she was still just an ordinary 8-year-old girl.

"Since you can't make a decision, I'll help you save some energy."

As Rosse spoke, he fiddled behind his back, then held out both fists in front of Robin, "I have a leaf in one hand. If you choose that hand, it's the same as choosing to save Saul. If you pick the hand without the leaf, then you're choosing to save your mother."

"Very simple, right? It's your turn to choose."

Seeing Robin nervously staring at his hands, Rosse chuckled lightly, "By the way, better hurry. Only 1 minute and 30 seconds left."

Hearing Rosse's words, Robin became even more nervous. Her small face scrunched up, and her gaze darted back and forth between Rosse's hands.

Robin was already on the verge of collapse.

But Saul's fate was right in front of her. She knew she had to make a choice.

Otherwise, both her mother and Saul might really die.

If she had to choose on her own, she simply couldn't decide. She couldn't bear to sacrifice anyone. Not even for the sake of her most beloved mother.

But Rosse gave her a great idea, she could choose randomly.

No matter what choice was made, it wasn't of her own volition.

Maybe that way, it'd be easier to bear...

Images of Saul and Olvia flashed through Robin's mind. In these past days, she had already regarded Saul as a friend, but in terms of closeness, he could never compare to Olvia.

'But he has saved my mother's life! How can I possibly choose to save my mother and abandon Saul?'

"Thirty seconds left!"

A reminder rang in her ears again, causing Robin to tremble and quickly shout:

"I choose the right hand! I choose your right hand!"

"The right hand, huh!"

Rosse chuckled, deliberately raised his right hand in front of himself, and loosened the fingers just a little.

"Oh? Looks like there's a shadow of a leaf in there. Sigh, your poor mother… looks like I'll have to kill her. But it's fine. It'll be quick."

Robin's pupils shrank as she looked at Rosse in horror, shouting, "No no no no!!! I choose Mom! I choose Mom!"

She couldn't bear for what Rosse described to happen.

Let alone that it was her choice that could lead to her mother's death.

"You chose my right hand, you know. Once you choose, there's no going back."

Rosse still had a smile hanging on his lips. Watching Robin's expression begin to crumble, he suddenly extended his right hand in front of her and slowly opened his five fingers, "See, you guessed right. No leaf inside. Congratulations, you've saved your mother. I, Celestial Dragon Jaygarcia Rosse, hereby promise you—Nico Olvia is permitted to leave this island alive."

"She's saved…", Seeing the empty palm, Robin felt an immense wave of relief.

She could no longer support herself and collapsed helplessly to the ground.

She didn't doubt Rosse's words.

As the youngest historian, Robin knew well how much weight the name "Celestial Dragon" carried. No one would joke using a Celestial Dragon's name.

"Well then, since little Robin has made her choice, it's time I carry out the other one."

Rosse said with a smile, clapping his hands lightly.

Not far away, Zannie immediately understood and prepared to finish Saul off.

At that moment, Zephyr suddenly flashed to Saul's side, "Let me do it."

He had just witnessed the entire thing and didn't choose to interfere in the end.

At fifty years old, he had long passed the age of caring about process.

No matter how twisted Rosse's personality was, it was a personal issue, not one that affected the bigger picture.

The navy had plenty of brutal and violent people, but they only tortured pirates, not their comrades.

So as long as Rosse stayed on the path Zephyr could accept, no matter how many problems arose in the process, he could pretend not to see them.

As long as Rosse's cruelty wasn't aimed at the navy or his former students, that was enough.

"Saul, you are a good person. But sometimes, when kindness is expressed in the wrong way, the result can be more terrifying than evil," Zephyr walked up to Saul, calmly saying what he wanted to say, then slowly raised his fist.

In an instant, the fist was coated in Armament Haki.

On the seas, aside from the title of "non-lethal admiral," Zephyr had another title, "Black Arm" Zephyr.

Black referred to his mastery of Armament Haki, and "Arm" referred to his martial arts.

To have earned such a title meant his mastery of Armament-based physical technique had reached the peak.

"Admiral Zephyr, you're a demon who nurtures evil!", Saul glared at Zephyr, but could only let out a hoarse voice.

He was too exhausted. On Ohara, he hadn't received any nourishment. Even though his injuries had mostly healed, he was down to a tenth of his strength.

He got wrecked by Zannie. Going against Zephyr was out of the question.

But...

'Giants do not lie down and wait for death!'

"ROAR!!!"

"ROBIN! LIVE ON! YOU ARE A KIND CHILD. YOU'LL FIND YOUR OWN COMPANIONS!"

Saul let out a roar, struggling to lift half his body and throwing his fist toward Zephyr with all his might.

Shhh!

The sound of flesh being pierced rang out. Saul's attack came to a sudden halt.

A bloody hole had appeared in the center of his chest. The heart behind the hole was also blown out, leaving a vacuum. One could even see the blue sky through Saul's heart.

Zephyr's body was covered in Saul's blood. He just coldly withdrew his fist and turned around to walk back toward Rosse.

"ZEPHYR!"

The powerful body of the Giants let Saul hold on to one last breath even with a shattered heart.

Saul let out a final cry and once again swung his fist toward Zephyr.

BANG!

A gunshot rang out.

Rosse coldly lowered his platinum pistol. A new bloody hole appeared in Saul's eye socket.

That shot took away the last of Saul's life.

BOOM!

A loud crash echoed, the sound of Saul collapsing completely.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

[A-Rank Kill Complete!]

[Power +500,000]

[Special Reward: Spear of Elbaf– Hakoku Sovereignty]

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

After receiving the reward, Rosse thought about the new technique in his mind and was a bit surprised.

The A-rank special reward was truly amazing. It directly gave him a unique technique of the Giants.

Whether using a blunt weapon or a sword, this special martial skill could unleash a shockwave powerful enough to instantly pierce through a hundred-meter-long Sea King.

And...

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

[Host: Rosse]

[Power: 715,132/1,000,000 (C+, Rear Admiral of Headquarters)]

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Just one A-rank reward had brought his strength close to that of a Vice Admiral.

By the end of this Buster Call, he'd finally have some solid power—not needing Zannie to always accompany him on missions.
