One of them, seemed to be warrior, was to hand in the crystal they got from the outside, but stopped for a while because he found some Gods corpse was left on his bags during the battle.
It was a rat-tail like corpse.
He revealed a disgusting look over it and then threw it on the ground.
"shxt, it must be the remain of Rot-Tail Swarm. Those damn rats are so much, weak but still took much effort to kill all of them."
At this, Keal immediately ready to run for it but before he got the chance to break through the crowd, a governor cleaner went and collected it.
Without any hesitation, Keal followed him to where he put down the corpse.
After several corners, he finally saw the cleaner put it into a collection bin, seemed like trash bin.
"Everyone on the forum says the corpse was no of use, then why is the government still collecting them?"
Tough in question, he didn't miss a second to get near of it once the cleaner left.
He opened the cover of the bin, a large pile of Gods remaining with a strange shape and smell appeared before his eyes.
Kael uncontrollably swallowed for nothing.
"Did I really must eat them, not looking very good?"
But the reality didn't show much mercy on him for more time he wasted, the more likely he got caught stealing the belongings of government.
Keal gathered up all his might, began to devour those corpse.

He could see a rosy future waving hands at him and paced up the inhale of remaining.
As he almost could eat all of these corpse, someone's footstep became louder and louder. Obviously someone was approaching where Kael was now.
Hurriedly Kael collected all those he couldn't finished into his bags, since he didn't when will be his next time to have chance eating these precious corpse.
He could even see the flashlight at the corner.

But he knew, the truth that someone had stolen the collection bin won't be hidden anymore.
No more time to take care those things.
The only thought in Kael's head was Run.
Run as fast as he could, run away from the spot the more distant the better.
No body knew how much Kael had run and how long.
Kael just exhausted himself and make sure there was no one following him.

Now he could catch his breath for a while and had time to check his body condition after the upgrading sequence through eating corpse.
The skill *Strength Surge* seemed to be a powerful one. Although it had limit after the effect ends, it's effect still prevail those alike skill he saw on the Awakened forum.
For example, the Shadow Assassin sequence could also boost their strength and agility to 1.5 times the original, lasting 5 minutes with alike limit afterwards.
That was to say, his 1st skill totally prevail other sequence's, which again let Kael believe that his Gods Eater sequence was something very special. It contained enormous power and potential, and also couldn't be knew by others.
The night was thick with shadows as Kael hurried through the ruined backstreets, the stolen God's remains heavy in his pack. Every rustle of debris made his pulse spike—he couldn't afford to be caught.
While Kael continued his fleeding, two guys' sudden presence interrupted in.

Two figures materialized from the gloom, blocking the alley's exit. Their clothes were frayed, their grins sharp with menace.
"Look at this—a little rat scurrying home," the taller one sneered, cracking his knuckles. "That bag looks fat. Share some charity, eh?"
Kael's grip tightened on his pack. He recognized their type—bottom-feeders, the kind who lurked in the Security Zone's darkness, only dare to prey on the weaker. His heart pounding and body shaking fiercely , not from fear, but from the thought he was very likely to use his power and for the first time have a taste of killing those dirty rubbish.
Looking at the two stupid robbers with evil smiles on their faces, Kael seemed to have made up his mind and grinned loudly at them.
