The above is all the content of Ryan's game improvement.

It looks simple, and in fact, doing it was also simple.

The most important thing was the level system. Levels not only provided a rough division of strength but also stimulated players' desire to level up, enhancing the game's appeal.

The level setting for Pokémon was very simple. They inherently had the concept of levels and gaining experience points through battles, but ordinary people couldn't see it; they could only make rough estimates.

Ryan used Creation Points to add a function for players to view Pokémon levels. Although not completely accurate, it allowed them to understand the Pokémon's current strength.

For the player's level setting, Ryan set up an experience bar. When the experience bar was full, they would level up, and Creation Points would automatically enhance the player's physical stats upon leveling up.

The enhanced stats weren't much, but if the level was high enough, the physical fitness, while not comparable to Ash Ketchum's, would be similar to that of a trained knight.

As for where the experience points came from, Ryan temporarily set up two ways to obtain them: one was through battles, and the other was as a reward for completing quests. This would also increase players' enthusiasm for doing quests.

Speaking of quests, after the players logged off, Ryan not only obtained the achievement reward for "Players' First Online Play," receiving three lottery chances, but also activated the side quest and daily quest sections, as well as the shop module.

There was only one side quest currently: building and repairing the territory's houses, with a reward of two lottery chances.

There were many daily quests, such as weeding, cleaning up garbage, and rescuing wild Pokémon—at least a dozen quests at a glance.

The rewards for these quests were Poké Coins, which could be used to purchase items in the shop.

The items inside were all rewards Ryan had obtained in the past and items he had won in the lottery, such as Pokémon food and medicine, and even Poké Balls.

As for the prices, they made Ryan want to curse. It was simply daylight robbery! Ryan couldn't possibly complete so many quests by himself, so the Mission Hall came into being.

Let the players complete the quests, and he would give them rewards. Of course, Ryan would definitely charge a small intermediary fee—just a tiny bit! The remaining stat panel didn't need much explanation. The favorability system was used to restrain players, preventing them from doing anything too outrageous.

This series of updates didn't actually take much effort. It could only be said that the Creation Points' functions were too convenient, not only being able to create an official website but also helping to improve the game.

However, this update also cost him a lot of Creation Points. Coupled with the fact that player leveling up and revival would require Creation Points in the future, Ryan's reserves became extremely tight.

"No! I have to arrange for people to repair the houses first thing tomorrow morning. Building one more house will give me a little more Creation Points every day."

Ryan couldn't sit still. If it wasn't too late, he would have wanted to find someone to repair the 1 houses right now.

The players had also finished reading the update announcement and started discussing it in the group.

One Leaf Knows Autumn: "They updated so much stuff on the very first day!" Last Night's West Wind: "It's the internal beta phase, so it's normal. @Silent Gaming Lord, you've played a lot of games, what do you think of this update?"

Silent Gaming Lord: "I haven't played virtual reality games either, but this update is indeed a bit interesting."

Last Night's West Wind: "Elaborate."

Silent Gaming Lord: "I won't talk about the update content. It's explained in detail above. I just feel that this update makes the game more like a game."

Last Night's West Wind: "Can you speak human language?"

Silent Gaming Lord: "...Simply put, this game is too real. I don't know how you guys feel, but I sometimes feel like I've transmigrated."

"A game that's too real can make us unable to distinguish between reality and the game. Although it can allow us to experience a second life, over time it can also cause a sense of confusion, and some people might even think that the game world is real, thus escaping reality."

"Therefore, this update added many features that only games have, such as levels and stats, which are to constantly remind us that this is just a game and cannot replace reality, while also enhancing the game's fun."

JingleBells: "That sounds very profound, but I actually think it makes some sense."

One Leaf Knows Autumn: "Other games can't wait to be more and more realistic, but this game is actually weakening its own realism."

Last Night's West Wind: "You have more words, so you must be right. Speaking of which, you're too hardcore, directly putting the official website link on the Bilibili homepage. Aren't you afraid of being swarmed?"

Silent Gaming Lord: "Why should I be afraid? Only when more people play will it prove that I'm not lying. Besides, as a game UP, shouldn't I promote a good game when I encounter one?"

Last Night's West Wind: "Awesome, awesome. But your traffic generation effect is really good. So many people have come to the official website forum, and the number of pre-registrations has also increased a lot. I won't say anymore, I'm going to work. See you guys tonight~"

Seeing that no one in the group was talking anymore, Chen Yan put down his phone.

He didn't need to go to work, but he had to update his video.

Thinking of this, Chen Yan had no choice but to open the Steam platform again, wanting to find a game to review.

But his mind was now full of the game [Pokémon World], and he had no interest in other games at all.

"Why can't this game record videos! Your technology is so amazing, can't you add a recording function?!"

Chen Yan wailed, holding his head in his hands.

If he could record videos, not only could he shut up those who said he was lying, but videos of this kind of virtual reality game would definitely go viral, and he wouldn't have to worry about what to film anymore.

"Forget it, let's just go with the flow. I'll just say I'm depressed from being criticized and need time to recover."

Chen Yan skillfully thought of a reason to delay his update, then hummed a song and went to take a shower.

At this time, Ryan didn't know that his simple update had caused so much discussion among the players.

But even if he knew, he would only sigh in his heart at the players' level of imagination, and might even agree with their statements verbally.

Yes, yes, yes! You're absolutely right! That's exactly what I thought! And now, he was worried about something else.
