Location: Tower Floor 70 – Final Sanctuary
A door stood before them.
Old. Wooden. Unlike anything else in the tower.
It bore no sigils. No traps. Just a name, scorched into the grain by a dying flame.
> Lyra.
Rael stood motionless.
Selene, behind him, touched his shoulder gently. "We don't have to open it yet."
"Yes, we do," Rael said softly. "She left it for me."
He pushed the door open.
---
Inside, the space was timeless.
A small room, untouched by chaos. The air shimmered with golden light. A table rested at the center, with a single crystal floating above it. And on the far wall… a painting.
It was of them.
Rael. Selene. Lyra. And the others—his old team, before the betrayal.
But one figure had been burned out. Erased.
The traitor.
Selene stepped forward, examining the crystal. "There's a soul imprint here. Hers."
Rael nodded, reaching out.
> [Memory Echo Detected – Would you like to view the final message of Lyra?]
"Yes."

The Memory Begins
Lyra appeared—her hair silver, her robes torn, her smile faint.
"If you're seeing this… then you survived Floor 69. You defeated yourself."
She laughed lightly, but there was sorrow in her eyes.
"I knew you would."
Her fingers brushed the edge of the table. "This place… it was once ours. Before everything fell apart. Before he turned on us. Rael… I never got to say goodbye. Or thank you."
The memory flickered.
"I defied the Seraphs for you. I broke prophecy, knowing it would kill me. But I don't regret it."
Her eyes locked with the recording crystal. "Because you made me believe fate could be changed."
---
The message ended.
Silence returned.
Rael bowed his head.
"She remembered everything."
Selene walked to the painting. "This was a warning. About the traitor."
Rael stood up slowly. "It was more than that. It was hope."

Suddenly, the sanctuary shook.
A voice echoed through the room—not Lyra's.
> "You've lingered too long."
Veyon.
> "You walk the path of defiance, Rael. But every step forward comes with a price. Let's see if you can still walk… when I take your heart next."
The floor beneath them shattered.
