Chapter 2 - Who the hell are you

---

Lee moved along his path amid some greetings and looks of disdain from others—they could not tolerate someone like Yao working with them. A person exhibiting such cowardice and humiliation! Well, that really didn't matter.

Lee continued walking until he reached the warehouse, where there stood a huge steel gate. Behind that gate came a faint moan from a man whose hands were tied, his face smeared with what appeared to be his own blood. In front of him, two men stood.

One of them shouted angrily, "You deceived us, Ji! I thought you could escape!" A flurry of punches followed those words. He continued, "Being a policeman, you infiltrated our gang and now you think you'll live? We trusted you!"

Ji laughed sarcastically and replied, "I never imagined that gangs cared about such matters. Trust in me? Friendship? You really are a gang, aren't you?"

They continued torturing him for a while until a knock sounded at the door. Lee entered with trembling hands and a face ashen with fear, for he was unaccustomed to witnessing someone being tortured. One of the men asked, "Hello, Lee, what brings you here?"

Lee responded nervously, "The boss, Ivanov, has requested to speak with him. Could you please leave?"

After a moment's thought, the guard said, "I don't know what's in the boss's mind, but Li doesn't lie. Alright, Lee—but be careful, he's dangerous."

Reassuringly, Lee answered, "Don't worry; I won't come even a centimeter close to him."

After some time, a deafening scream erupted from the warehouse. Lee emerged covered in blood, his entire body trembling, his hands and feet injured. One of the guards rushed over, while another dashed into the room. Upon entering, they found Ji drenched in blood with his jaw severed. Outside, Li fainted from the horror of what had transpired.

When Lee awoke, he found himself tied to a chair, with the boss, Ivanov, standing before him. In an interrogative tone, Ivanov said, "Tell me, what happened? I know you're too weak to do something like this, but everyone has their reasons. When you came in, Ji was already there. Explain what happened."

Lee replied, "I entered the room and lied to the guards, asking them to pull Ji out, seat him on the chair, and tie his hands."

"And what is the reason for your coming?" Ivanov asked.

"Days ago, I gave Ji our transaction numbers—along with the deal schedules," Lee answered.

Ivanov, his voice rising in anger, demanded, "And why did you do that?"

Lee explained, "You told me to, and he had your signature on the documents. I was about to leave this job, as you know, sir."

Ivanov scoffed, "And you believed him?"

"Yes, I did. I entered the room trying to correct my mistake. I was carrying a dagger and asked him to tell me what he knew. He replied that he would reveal everything—but that he needed a pen and paper. I've never been one to carry a weapon, so I left him and went to fetch what was needed. When I returned, he had freed himself, grabbed a weapon, and attempted to attack me. He was weak from losing so much blood. I tried to stop him, but he injured my hand and foot. I took the weapon from him and knocked him down, and when he tried to cut my neck in self-defense, I closed my eyes and accidentally severed his jaw."

Ivanov commanded, "Release him!"

*(The conversation continues.)*

Ivanov said, "Lee, come with me."

They walked together until they reached a room and entered.

"Listen, lee," Ivanov began, "this is the meeting room. No one outside can hear what goes on here."

"Wait, sir, I'll prepare your special coffee," Lee replied.

*(After Yao prepared the coffee and served it to Ivanov, the conversation resumed.)*

Ivanov stated, "Lee, even though you've been here for years and rarely involve yourself in matters, you are one of the best men—if not the best."

As Ivanov began drinking the coffee, Lee said, "Sir, it has been an honor to serve you; that alone is enough for me."

Ivanov remarked, "We don't know what would have happened if you hadn't been able to catch this traitor."

"Sir, what is it? Are you alright?" asked Lee

Ivanov replied, "lee, there's an alarm device in the drawer—take it out and press it."

"Alright, sir," Lee answered.

Lee reached towards the drawer and retrieved the alarm device. "You press it, sir; I'll go fetch help."

Ivanov, his hand trembling as he reached for the alarm, suddenly found a dagger embedded in his own hand. At that moment, a psychopath smile spread across Lee's face.

Ivanov cried, "Lee, how dare you?"

"I'm sorry, sir, but I couldn't wait any longer. I grew tired. Is this really what they sent me for?" Lee replied.

*(We return to the warehouse to understand what truly happened.)*

Lee moved over to Ji and untied him. "Please, have a seat, Ji."

Ji sat before him at a table—a table that reminded him of police investigations.

"What makes you think I won't attack you? Lee, you're weak," Ji sneered.

"So, you're with the police, aren't you?" Li asked.

I thought you were the smart one here, Lee. Did you notice this on your own?" Ji countered.

"No, I've noticed it for a while. I was the one who informed them about you," Lee replied.

"And what do you want? A reward or what?" Ji demanded.

Lee stood and slowly advanced toward him. When he reached Ji, he swiftly plunged his dagger into Ji's leg.

Smiling, Lee said, "You know, Ji, you never even angered me. I don't care if you're a cop or not. In any case, you're dead."

Quickly drawing his dagger, Lee deliberately wounded his own hand and foot to create the illusion that a fight had broken out in the area.

In Ji's thoughts, he wondered, "What kind of strength is this? How can Lee be like this? Wait— is this really Lee

"Who the hell are you?" Ji shouted.

"You know what, Ji? I'll tell you something before you die," Lee whispered as he leaned close to Ji. "I'll send them all to you so you won't feel alone in hell."

He then grabbed his dagger, forced it into Ji's mouth, and pulled it out, slicing his mouth in half.

*(We return to the present.)*

Ivanov asked, "Lee, who are you?"

Drawing close to Ivanov, Lee's face twisted into a terrifying expression as he said, "Death."

Lee continued, "Do you know how tired I am of this place? They sent me and ordered me not to kill anyone but you. I thought you were a dangerous man, but what I've seen is nothing but a bunch of scum and weaklings. I'll kill them all for my own amusement. Surely you can't focus through the pain. Wait— I'll help you."

Grabbing the coffee cup, Lee forced Ivanov to drink it all.

Stammering, Ivanov asked, "Why are you doing this? There's no enmity between us."

"Don't take it personally," Lee replied. "You're merely a job—a disposable function. You're hardly worth my hatred. And it seems you're dead now. How boring."

Lee then drew his dagger and headed outside, speaking with the guard standing at the door.

Lee called out, "The boss wants you—he's not well. Hurry!"

The guard dashed into the dark room. Using his phone's flashlight, he saw his boss with a distorted face—an eye torn out, his head severed, and his brain removed. Then he heard the sound of the door closing.

"What happened?" the guard began.

He didn't even finish his sentence before he saw Lee plunging his dagger into his neck and slicing it.

Lee then retrieved his own ring, placed it on the guard, burned the body, and donned the guard's mask.

"Let's start this party," Lee declared.

At that very moment, Lee emerged, clutching his dagger, ruthlessly killing everyone in his path. He slaughtered every person present without sparing anyone—severed necks and bodies riddled with stabs.

At the door, someone Lee knew well stood. That person ran toward him; Lee leaped, punched him, and shouted, "Where is it?"—echoing one of Batman's famous lines. At that moment, Yu recognized who he was facing.

"Who are you? What have you done to Lee?" Yu demande.

"No—I am Lee. What are you talking about?" Li retorted.

"Indeed, his strength and instincts are good; he would have dodged my blow if the situation hadn't been so strange. But I am forced to kill him, Lee added.

The scene then shifted to Lee's eyes as he squeezed Yu's neck. He produced a ring from his hand and left the scene, returning to his home.

"I have arrived," Lee murmured.

He entered his room, took a shower, then approached a mirror and removed his mask—revealing another face underneath Le's. Meanwhile, Ji's words echoed repeatedly: "Who the hell are you?"

Next, we enter lee's house, where inside lay a corpse in an advanced stage of decay—matted hair and fallen nails. That was the real lee When I mentioned that being a hero is a suspicious matter, I wasn't referring to Lee, but to this man—a psychopathic killer devoid of any heroic traits; not kind, honest, or compassionate. He is more akin to a demon in human form. And his name is kio

Moving toward the refrigerator, Le mused, "What shall I have now? Ah, there's some ramen—I'll eat that. But what should I watch? Breaking Bad, One Piece, or Peaky Blinders? Alright, I've decided—I'm going to watch Harry Potter again"

He sat on the couch, started the first movie, and began eating cups of ramen.

"The novel has more details, but the films aren't bad," he thought at that moment.

Then his phone rang.

Kio (Agent kio) answered, "What, Eva?"

Eva replied, "You have another mission."

Ki grumbled, "But we just reached the best part!"

Eva responded, "Alright, I'll refuse the mission."

"No, no—I'll do it. What do we have, Eve?" kio insisted.
