Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Inheritance of the Ninth-Tier Alchemist

"System, all the experience of alchemy in my mind will be passed on to the Little Fairy Doctor."

Following Gu He's silent command, the system quickly began to operate.

A vast stream of information surged from Gu He's palm, flooding into the Little Fairy Doctor's mind.

"Ah..." The overwhelming influx of information felt like a sharp sword piercing her soul, and the Little Fairy Doctor couldn't help but cry out in pain.

"My dear disciple, hold on. Stay calm. It will be over soon."

Seeing the pained expression on the Little Fairy Doctor's face, Gu He couldn't help but feel a twinge of regret. Had he acted too hastily?

'Instilling so much information at once—could the Little Fairy Doctor's strength withstand it?'

Hearing Gu He's words, the Little Fairy Doctor let out a soft "Hmm," clenched her silver teeth, and endured the stabbing pain in her mind.

Fortunately, the pain subsided as quickly as it had come. Seeing the Little Fairy Doctor's expression return to normal, Gu He breathed a sigh of relief.

'So far, so good.' If something had happened to the Little Fairy Doctor because of this, Gu He would have been consumed by guilt.

Just as Gu He relaxed, a system notification sounded in his mind.

[Detected that the host has granted the second disciple, Little Fairy Doctor, the experience of a sixth-tier Alchemist.]

[Congratulations to the host for triggering a seven-thousand-fold refund and obtaining the inheritance of a ninth-tier alchemist.]

[The inheritance of the Ninth-Tier Alchemist has been distributed to the system. Please check, host.]

Hearing the system's notification, Gu He's mouth fell open in shock.

A seven-thousand-fold refund!

The inheritance of a Ninth-Tier Alchemist!

This was beyond unbelievable—it was downright outrageous.

Gu He stood there, stunned, unable to react for a long time.

After a moment, he glanced at the Little Fairy Doctor, who was still immersed in absorbing the "information" in her mind. With a thought, he entered the system space.

Inside the system space, Gu He saw a glowing sphere floating in the void.

"Is this the inheritance light sphere of the Ninth-Tier Alchemist?"

Gu He stared at the sphere, his eyes blazing with excitement.

By fusing with this, could he truly obtain the inheritance of a Ninth-Tier pharmacist?

A Ninth-Tier pharmacist!

How many Ninth-Tier pharmacists existed on the Dou Qi Continent?

This was undoubtedly an existence at the pinnacle of the continent!

[Ding! Does the host wish to accept the inheritance of a Ninth-Tier pharmacist?]

As Gu He's consciousness approached the light sphere, the system's prompt sounded in his mind.

Hearing the notification, Gu He hesitated for a moment.

Then, he thought of the Little Fairy Doctor, who was still absorbing "information" outside, and decisively declined.

If the Little Fairy Doctor woke up early and interrupted his acceptance of the inheritance, it would be disastrous.

As the saying goes, haste makes waste.

Gu He decided to wait until the Little Fairy Doctor woke up and he was alone before accepting the inheritance. That way, no one would disturb him.

With this in mind, Gu He withdrew his consciousness from the system space.

Back in the room, Gu He slowly opened his eyes and saw that the Little Fairy Doctor's eyes were still tightly shut, clearly still absorbing the "information" in her mind.

Gu He had imparted all his experience in refining medicine, from first to sixth tier, to the Little Fairy Doctor.

Given the Little Fairy Doctor's current strength, absorbing such a vast amount of information at once was undoubtedly overwhelming.

However, when Gu He thought of the Ninth-Tier alchemist inheritance light sphere in the system space, a satisfied smile crept onto his face.

In the end, it was all worth it—even if it meant the Little Fairy Doctor had to endure some pain.

He looked at the Little Fairy Doctor, whose eyebrows were twitching slightly, and thought to himself, "My dear disciple, I've put you through a lot this time. As your master, I will make it up to you in the future."

Gu He poured himself a cup of fragrant tea, sipped it slowly, and quietly waited for the Little Fairy Doctor to finish.

About an hour later, Gu He had already drunk seven or eight cups of tea, and his stomach was full.

At that moment, the Little Fairy Doctor's eyelids fluttered, and she slowly opened her eyes.

"Master!"

Her beautiful eyes first showed confusion, then, as she remembered what had happened, they sparkled with excitement.

By now, she had almost fully absorbed the information Gu He had imparted to her.

And it was this very information that filled her with excitement and awe.

The experience of a sixth-tier pharmacist!

All the knowledge and techniques needed to refine pills, from first to sixth tier, had been passed on to her by her master!

The Little Fairy Doctor recalled the information in her mind, as if it had been vividly imprinted there.

She had a strange feeling that this knowledge seemed to have always existed in her mind, something she would never forget.

Such a method was nothing short of miraculous!

The Little Fairy Doctor knew that her master had stored all this information in his own mind.

Thinking of the profound knowledge now residing in her mind, the corners of her mouth curled into a slight smile.

"Master, your gift is truly too generous." However, she then recalled the three initiation ceremonies Gu He had mentioned earlier.

If the first ceremony was already this incredible, what would the next two be like?

At this thought, a look of anticipation flashed in her beautiful eyes. "Eh!"

"What are you thinking about? You're about to drool." A large hand patted the Little Fairy Doctor's head, snapping her out of her reverie.

'Drooling?'  The Little Fairy Doctor panicked and quickly wiped the corner of her mouth.

"Nothing." Looking up in confusion, she saw Gu He's playful expression and immediately understood.

"Master, you're teasing me!" she said, her face flushing with embarrassment.

"Hehe." Seeing her flustered reaction, Gu He chuckled knowingly and asked gently, "How do you feel? Is there any discomfort?"

"Discomfort?" The Little Fairy Doctor was momentarily taken aback, then shook her head and replied softly, "Master, I'm fine."

Gu He nodded solemnly. "You must carefully absorb and understand the experience in refining medicine that I've passed on to you. Once you fully grasp it, you won't be far from reaching the level of a sixth-tier Alchemist."

"Yes Master, disciple understands," the Little Fairy Doctor replied obediently.

After a moment of hesitation, Gu He decided to postpone the next initiation until tomorrow. The Little Fairy Doctor had already endured enough for one day—she deserved some rest.

With this in mind, Gu He said gently, "Little Fairy Doctor, let's stop here for today. Go and rest now."

The Little Fairy Doctor nodded obediently, cleaned up the dishes on the table, and quietly left the room.

After she left, Gu He closed the door, sat cross-legged on the bed, and immediately entered the system space.

Looking at the inheritance light sphere floating in the void, Gu He commanded the system, "System, begin the inheritance of the Ninth-Tier alchemist."

As soon as he spoke, the light sphere, which had been suspended in the void, transformed into a beam of white light and shot into Gu He's mind.
