Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Game Begins

Chapter 2: The Game Begins

The university campus was alive with the usual chaos—students rushing between classes, the smell of cheap coffee wafting from the nearby café, and the occasional blaring ringtone that made everyone roll their eyes. To the outside world, I was just another face in the crowd, a quiet guy who didn't stand out much. Perfect cover.

But inside my head? Oh, it was a different story.

I was Tian Mo—the reincarnated author, the mastermind, the creator guy who had written this entire world into existence. And now, here I was, trapped inside it, with all the knowledge of its secrets and every plot twist memorized. It was like being handed the ultimate cheat code… except the game was rigged, and the enemies were way tougher than I'd imagined, at least I was the plot armor of my previous Tian Mo in my book but who's my plot armor... just thinking about it feels like I will just get fucked here.

Earth was a Low-Grade Cultivation World. Translation: a place where spiritual Qi was so sparse, even the most talented cultivators struggled to get past the Core Formation Realm. That's right—most people here couldn't break through the cultivation ceiling that capped their lifespan at a measly 500 years. For them, that was the peak of power. For me? It was just the first hurdle.

I'd spent years writing about higher realms—Nascent Soul, Soul Formation, Divine Transformation, and beyond—realms where lifespans stretched into thousands, tens of thousands, even millions of years. But here on Earth? Those were fairy tales, bedtime stories to keep hopeful cultivators dreaming.

What made me different was the Primordial Chaos Evil Sins Demonic Physique—a freak genetic gift that let me absorb Chaos Evil Qi far more efficiently than anyone else. And the Primordial Chaos Divine Sins Emperor Technique? That was my secret weapon, a cultivation method so twisted and demanding only someone with my physique could survive it.

Plus, I had my Fortune Seeing Eyes—not a cultivation skill, but a unique cheat of mine. This ability let me see hidden luck of things and people's through which I can know opportunities and predict outcomes, which, let's be honest, was the author's ultimate edge. It was like having spoiler alerts for real life.

Sitting in my Introduction to Economics class, I watched Professor Rachel Lee lecture with her usual sharp wit and commanding presence. She was smart, beautiful, and terrifyingly good at making complex concepts sound simple. Honestly, if I weren't busy plotting world domination, I might have been a little distracted by her.

But no distractions. Not yet.

But man, girls here are really more beautiful then my previous world.

Okay now; no distractions.

I scribbled notes, pretending to be interested in supply and demand curves, while my mind raced through investment strategies I'd read about in my previous life. Financial independence was step one. I couldn't mooch off Aunt Maya forever—though she was kind enough to let me live rent-free and feed me like a king.

After class, I bumped into my friends—Alex, Emily, and Mike. They were useful, in their own ways. Alex was a coding genius, Emily had a knack for psychology (perfect for reading people), and Mike was all about business and money. Together, they were my unofficial team, though I had no illusions about their loyalty. In this game, everyone had a price or a weakness.

"Hey, Tian Mo," Alex said, smirking. "You looked bored today. Plotting to take over the world again?"

I grinned. "You know me too well. Just thinking about how to turn a profit without breaking a sweat."

Emily rolled her eyes. "One day, your 'plans' will get you into trouble."

"Maybe," I said, "but until then, I'm just playing the long game."

Cultivation here was painfully slow. Breaking through a single tier in Body Refining Realm could take months, sometimes years for decent enough talents. Most cultivators wasted decades stuck in the Body Refining Realm, unable to progress because spiritual Qi was so scarce. The jump to Foundation Establishment was even harder, requiring not just energy but surviving a heavenly tribulation that could fry your soul if you weren't careful.

Reaching Core Formation? That was the stuff of legends. Only a handful of cultivators had ever done it on Earth, and those were usually sect leaders blessed with rare treasures or insane talent.

I wasn't in among the most cultivators.

That night, I locked myself in my room and began my first meditation with the Primordial Chaos Divine Sins Emperor Technique. The air felt thick as I focused inward, activating my demonic physique. Chaos Evil Qi seeped into my body like a dark river, intoxicating and dangerous.

As you know Chaos Evil Qi is present in any world where are living beings who experience seven emotions of Sins which produces this Qi but very few can actually see and even less to actually use it as a source for power.

Which demonstrates the uniqueness of my physique and cultivation technique.

The first sin to awaken was Pride. A surge of confidence flooded me, and I couldn't help but smirk. "Well, if you're going to start somewhere, might as well start with the one that suits me best."

Pride sin is the most powerful sin amongst all other sins, reason being simple because there is no one who doesn't feel Pride in himself or others even if they are worlds humblest saints who will feel pride for guiding people.

Due to awakening, Pride sin, it also specializes in making people followers and making them submit to me due to me having full control of their Pride which will be the biggest reason normally not accepting subjugation.

I knew this path wouldn't be easy. The world was stacked against me, and the cultivation ceiling was a wall most couldn't break. But I had something no one else did: knowledge of the future, a unique physique, and the ability to see opportunities no one else could.

I planned to use every advantage—my cunning, my Fortune Seeing Eyes, and the dark power of the Seven Sins—to rise beyond Earth's limits.

And yes, I planned to be ruthless. Morality was a luxury for fools. I'd been betrayed once before—poisoned by someone I trusted on my thousandth birthday. That mistake wouldn't happen again (at least for my previous Tian Mo).

As I drifted off to sleep, a wicked grin spread across my face. The game had begun, and I was ready to play it better than anyone else.

"Let's see who survives," I whispered to the darkness. "Because Tian Mo isn't just a character in my story anymore. He's the author himself of his own destiny now."
